A Sanctuary When I Needed It Most I arrived in Taiyuan not feeling well and ended up staying seven nights without ever leaving the room. Labor Day holiday, full DND stretches, just me and delivery apps. And honestly? It was exactly what I needed, and this hotel made it possible. Let me start with the moment that defined this stay. My housekeeper came in most days to refresh the room, and each time I'd ask for the same drinks. After a few days he just knew -- knew what I wanted, knew I wasn't feeling well. He'd heard me coughing while he cleaned and was clearly paying attention. On my last day, when I had DND up and didn't want any service at all, he quietly left a bag of my favorite drinks outside the door anyway. No knock, no disruption. Just a person who had been paying attention all week and wanted to take care of me. That kind of warmth doesn't come from a training manual. I won't forget it. The room itself held up beautifully for a long stationary stay. Clean, accurate to the photos, well-appointed. Floor-to-ceiling windows, two bathrooms, excellent shower pressure, generous storage, a proper tea set, and a beverage bar housekeeping kept replenished without being asked. The slippers were genuinely excellent -- better than some five-star properties I've stayed at. For seven nights of recovery during a national holiday, this hotel and its people delivered everything that mattered.

The room is big.The location is okay.The hotel staff are okay.The full-board meals are just left over food from breakfast.It's only one dish and rice.The food for lunch and dinner is leftover food which not eaten.It's so cold and tasteless.No hot tea or drinks are given.The cooks are not friendly.There is only one elevator which is not convenient when you are in a rush. 房间很大。地点没问题。酒店的员工都很好。全餐是早餐剩下的食物。只有一道菜和米饭。午餐和晚餐的食物是没有吃完的剩饭。又冷又无味。不提供热茶或饮料。厨师们不友好 只有一部电梯，当你赶时间的时候不方便

Una persona usceva dal lavoro e vide l'hotel, e venne a vivere una notte, e mangiava un colazione di cucina. Ci sono tutti. Soprattutto il nocciolo è delizioso e la vita è molto comoda. La tosta era super buona a dormire. La tosta ha comprato una casa. Dopo di che, c'è un borsone per un anno 🦁🐮

酒店環境很好，離老軍營小吃街很近，服務人員都很熱情，特別貼心，前台亞楠和衞文傑接待的我們，我是陪孩子來看薛之謙演唱會的，在酒店前台詢問接駁車訊息，沒想到酒店給我們特意安排了小車接送服務，司機蔡師傅也是酒店工作人員，接送都超級到位，客房李春霞還為我們準備了簽名貼和應援棒，總之太原這座歌迷之城真的很好，推薦去看演唱會的都可以入住他家，走的時候還送了紀念小禮物，下次必然還是你家，服務，環境，體驗感，都超級棒👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

This is a luxurious hotel. The rooms don’t look or feel like a hotel room. They feel like home away from home. The soundproofing is great and it is always a quiet yet the hotel room has a door separating the room from the hallway leading to the front door. That way you are insulated from any noise from outside, which is often a problem at other hotels. The air-conditioning system is very quiet and works perfectly. We slept well there. I would stay at this hotel for breakfast alone. As you walk by the buffet, it just keeps going. It took me more than a minute to walk from one end of the buffet to the other. The variety of dishes is staggering. I have never seen anything like this in my life. The quality of the dishes is superb as well. I will remember their steamed dumplings for a long time… Many of the other dishes were exotic and very interesting. It was the best hotel I stayed at during my trip. And unforgettable experience.

Everything is good Breakfast is good In the rooms that is cigarette smell through we booked for non-smoking room. Because it is the period of the time that the hotel don't send the cold air to the air conditioner . After we checked in and turned on air conditioner even low medium high for a few hours and it's still hot because rooms are on the side facing the sun in the afternoon. Eventually we called the hotel staff and knew that the air conditioner does not send cold air. The hotel staff is helpful to let us view many rooms on the other side of the building which is not as hot and stuffy, only small window in room can be opened but not outside air flow in. It is helpful to move to the other side and we can open the small window and help get some corners from outside though no wind. Fortunately , during the few days that we stayed, it was raining and the temperature is not as high as the last day or our stay when the temperature was rising and strong sunlight. Thank you very much to be so kind and understood us and helped us move to the cooler room.

La notte scorsa abbiamo trascorso il nostro viaggio a Kempinski Taiyuan, e non è stato deluso. Il ricevitore si è aggiornato in una stanza su un piano alto con vista sulla città. Ci hanno anche dato frutta fresca e minibar gratuito. Hanno tutto quello che si aspetta di un hotel a cinque stelle, e la posizione è in una parte piena della città.

This stay was absolutely incredible and completely exceeded my expectations. First and foremost, a massive thank you to the hotel for being so welcoming to my two fur babies (my dog babies)! 🐶🐶 Finding a place that not only allows pets but treats them with such kindness and respect is rare. The staff went above and beyond to make sure both my pups and I felt comfortable and at home. They are truly amazing employees—so warm, professional, and attentive to every detail. They are a credit to this hotel! The room itself was fantastic. We had an awesome view from the window overlooking the city scenery, which was just beautiful to wake up to. It added such a special touch to our trip. But the location? UNBEATABLE. You simply cannot beat it. · Transport: The subway station is literally right in front of the main door of the hotel. You are connected to the entire city instantly. · Tourist Spots: All the great tourist attractions are within easy walking distance. We barely needed transport because everything was so accessible! If you are visiting Taiyuan, whether for business, leisure, or especially if you are traveling with pets, stop looking and book this hotel. It is very, very highly recommended. I had a wonderful experience staying at the Grand Metropark Wanshi Hotel. The hotel offers great comfort at an affordable price, complete with a bathtub in the room. I playfully requested flower decorations on the bed, honeymoon-style—and to my surprise, the hotel fulfilled the request for free! My wife was ecstatic, and I was genuinely impressed by their willingness to go the extra mile. The breakfast and lunch were delicious, with halal food options available. The hotel is in a convenient location, with easy access to various destinations. There's even a Bank of China next door, perfect for foreign currency exchange or cash withdrawals. Across the hotel, you'll find Ming Supermarket, which offers snacks at very low prices—great for souvenirs. There are also plenty of halal food vendors, including a Muslim-run lamb skewer stall and other street snacks, so you'll never go hungry. While the hotel staff's English skills are limited, communication was smooth using Google Translate. The front desk even taught me how to order food online using *******. A highlight of our stay was their delivery robot, which brought food from the lobby directly to our room. It was impressive and fun to experience! I highly recommend Grand Metropark Wanshi Hotel for travelers seeking a delightful, hassle-free stay in Taiyuan. Their warm service and thoughtful amenities made our trip unforgettable.
