Hotel 4 stelle a Taiyuan

Stayed in the hotel in September 2025 for four nights. Room was modern and had an open concept design. Hot water and WiFi worked well, and cleaning was done very well. Buffet had good spread of mainly Shanxi local delicacies. I must especially praise the restaurant service staff, especially 杨杨, for being so accommodating, friendly, and personable. On my first day with breakfast, 杨杨, personally explained the different food options to me and made sure all of my needs were cared for. She was exceptionally bubbly and approachable, and was not only the highlight of the hotel, but gave me one of the best services of any accommodation across the world. Regarding location, the hotel was located around 10-15 minutes by taxi from the main high-speed rail station. The only critique I would note is that the air-conditioning in the room was somewhat weak. Overall, the hotel offered good value for money and excellent service, and I am happy to stay again.

This is the first time I’ve stayed at this hotel, and I had a very pleasant experience. The staff were very friendly and even offered welcome drinks during check-in, which made us feel warmly welcomed. The room was clean and comfortable, especially the bed and cushions, which helped us rest well. The hotel also provided complimentary supper at night, and the breakfast had a wide variety of choices. One of the main reasons I chose this hotel was its excellent location, within walking distance to the Shanxi Museum. It was very convenient for us to return to the hotel to rest after visiting the museum, especially with the late check-out arrangement. Last but not least, the mini bar was complimentary, and the hotel even prepared a welcome gift for us upon check-out. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and I would definitely consider coming back again.

The room was relatively clean and cosy. The bed and pillow was amazing (Atour of course, but Atour S’ pillow is better). Service was excellent, with free pick up. Reception was fast and even got a goodbye gift. Free coffee and mineral water.

Could not fault this place. We had booked a bigger room, but it was on the main street, so decided not to take the risk. A slight downgrade was organised swiftly. Room very comfortable, with a nice big bathroom. A well equipped gym where I seemed to be the only user. Breakfast passable with toast, fruits, cereal, coffee and baked goods. We extended our stay to 4 nights. The service at the front desk, room servicing, breakfast was exemplary. The room maid left me a lovely book marker as she saw my lonely planet. (btw, LP mentions a restaurant at the start of the bu xing jie; I wouldn't bother).Hotel is 1km west of Tiyuguan metro station on line 2. Line 1 yet to open. Two stations north brings you 400m from Bell Tower Street, a bu xing jie where there are heaps of great eating places. One station north of Tiyuguan, then east as far as possible gets you to the old Taiyuan train station. Buses 308 or 804 (slow trip) gets you to JinCi Si; well worth the trip even just to see a 3,000yo tree

Clean and well designed. The staffs are awfully helpful. Breakfast is a feast! Close to both the high speed train station and airport.

This is a very nice hotel, with warm, friendly and helpful staff. Though, we faced a bit of language barrier as majority of the staff members do not speak English, yet they tried their best to help (by using translation app). I would recommend the Hotel for a getaway, if you are wanting to stay away from the main city... (but if you are looking for restaurants and shopping nearby, then you'll be disappointed). Nonetheless, the Hotel's restaurant is good, and the chefs do try and take your request... The breakfast spread was good... and they did serve international cuisine. Overall, our stay was comfortable, and I would like to thank the polite and generous staff members for making us feel welcome.

Abbiamo soggiornato all'hotel per una notte, mentre andava da Pingyao a Zhangjiajie. Abbiamo arrivato alla stazione di treno la sera e doveva prendere il treno la mattina successiva. L'hotel offre pick-up e gocciolatura che era molto conveniente e confortevole. La stanza era pulita e tempestiva, con snack, tè e tutti gli attrezzi di cui avevamo bisogno. Il personale era così utile: ci ordinavano qualcosa di cibo (tutto sulla app era in mandarino e non potevamo capire come farlo da soli), raccomandavano alcuni preferiti locali e lo consegnavano alla nostra stanza. Ci hanno aiutati a lavarci anche se era tardi la sera, così abbiamo avuto vestiti puliti per continuare il nostro viaggio. In tutto, il nostro soggiorno era eccellente, e non potevo più raccomandare l'hotel.

We booked at Fengqi jiuting hotel on a family trip to Taiyuan and it exceeded all our expectations. The location is super convenient, on the edge of the bustling Zhong Lou Jie area, with so many food and dining options accessible on foot. The rooms are spacious, with heated floors (a godsend in winter), and nice amenities. It’s a beautiful hotel decked out with contemporary art and was a pleasure to stay at. The staff were all very friendly and helpful and made our trip that much easier. Would definitely recommend.

Questo soggiorno è molto soddisfatto, le strutture della stanza dell'hotel sono complete, spaziose e pulite, igiene pulita e confortevole.La colazione è diversa e la nutrizione è sana.Il trasporto è conveniente, dalla stazione metropolitana, la stazione ferroviaria ad alta velocità è molto vicina. Il servizio della sorella della reception è entusiasta, educato e gentile. Il nostro negozio è stato raccolto. La prossima volta vengo a Taiyuan e continui a vivere. Grazie per la ricezione!
