UUtente ospiteGreat location and interesting old house. It was as shown in the pictures. The host is very friendly and recommended a few places to go and explained the house. He could have given more detailed instructions on the car park, which is closeby but you need to park in the area 62 to be closeby to the house. It’s a long car park so it’s seems far from where you go in but it’ll work out! The car park right next to the house is very expensive.
The house faces towards the car park and the street to the motorcycles are a bit noisy.
Water and cups are provided by the hotel.
Trip.com didn’t tell the owner my email or phone number so he couldn’t contact me and there was no one for checkin. We called him and he came quickly, just would be nicer for everyone if he had those details. Otherwise I recommend proactively contacting him.

The location couldn’t be better—right across from Tainan Park, it’s peaceful yet still within walking distance to the train station and local eateries. The atmosphere of the inn feels both cozy and refreshing, surrounded by greenery that makes you forget you’re in the middle of the city.
The room was spotless and thoughtfully designed, with natural light, soft bedding, and just the right touch of simplicity. Every detail showed the owner’s care—from the locally roasted coffee in the common area to the warm welcome when I arrived. I especially loved the small garden space where you can relax with a cup of tea in the afternoon.
What stood out most was the hospitality. The staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready with local travel tips and food recommendations. Their genuine kindness made me feel like I was visiting an old friend rather than staying at a hotel.
I would definitely stay here again on my next trip to Tainan. Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates comfort, warmth, and a touch of nature in the heart of the city.

少少林華I stayed in this hotel in this April, which is a wonderful experience. Thus, I brought my family (total 4) to stay in this hotel again. Unfortunately, the experience of this time is not pleasant.
First of all, as i m the IHG member, I am entitled to have welcome drink. Last time, we can drink in the lobby lounge, but this time, the waitress declined us to take the drink at the lounge and requested us to take away the drinks. Whats ridiculous?! The welcome drink is offered by the hotel, but i m not wrlcome to drink at the lounge.
Secondly, the cleaning service is not pleasant, two cups in my room have not been cleaned.
Thirdly, the food serving of beef soup is very unsatisfactory. I don't understand why I requested to have more soup and got a black face from the chef.
I spent over US$600 for two nights, but seems not be welcomed from the lounge nor restaurant. I would not recommend others to stay in this luxury but not welcome hotel

UUtente ospiteHo soggiornato in una camera superiore. La stanza è grande e spaziosa. E 'pulita. Ha un'area separata per il bagno e la doccia che è un buon design per 2 ospiti che soggiornano nella stessa stanza. La posizione è conveniente, al contrario dell'hotel è mercato locale. Ci sono molte catering vicino, a piedi di distanza. Possiamo solo usare la mappa di Google per navigare. Sono impressionato con i bagni forniti. Sono messo a panca per prodotti di Aesop e mi sento rinfrescato dopo una doccia. Il colazione fornito è un set di colazione, ed è delizioso. Possiamo scegliere tra 6 opzioni dal menu. Il personale è utile. Mi piace l'idea di prendere in prestito il libro come parte del check-in, che parlava di Tainan. Tainan ha una storia ricca, e U.IJ è orgoglioso di condividerla. Potrei sentire i sentimenti forti verso il Tainan. Voglio tornare all'hotel se ho l'opportunità di visitare Tainan di nuovo.

UUtente anonimoLa struttura si trova in una posizione davvero centrale, comoda e ben collegata con le principali attrazioni della città, il che rende gli spostamenti molto facili. La reception si è dimostrata sempre gentile, disponibile e attenta alle esigenze degli ospiti, un aspetto che abbiamo davvero apprezzato.
Nel complesso ci siamo trovati molto bene, anche se la pulizia del bagno in camera potrebbe essere migliorata: per un hotel a quattro stelle ci saremmo aspettati un’attenzione un po’ maggiore ai dettagli.
Abbiamo anche approfittato della piscina, ma ci è stato comunicato solo una volta arrivati in costume che per nuotare è obbligatorio indossare la cuffietta, altrimenti si può solo camminare in acqua. Sarebbe stato più pratico saperlo prima, oppure poter acquistare o prendere in prestito una cuffietta direttamente all’ingresso della piscina, senza dover tornare alla reception al primo piano. Una piccola disorganizzazione che si potrebbe facilmente migliorare.
Nel complesso, però, l’esperienza è stata positiva: ottima posizione, staff accogliente e struttura confortevole, con qualche dettaglio da affinare per raggiungere un livello davvero all’altezza delle quattro stelle.

GGabrielle TengThe location is great as it is located to the restaurant and bars cluster. The facilities are clean, well equipped and relatively new. My only issue is with the desk staff, they were not friendly to start with, upon arrival (about 12pm) we were told to just park our luggage at a corner, no tags were assigned, no labelling, nothing. Then told to come back to do check-in at 3pm, they cannot any time earlier than that, so we left and came back at 3pm. At this point it was a female staff with bangs that helped us, I showed her the hotel booking email and she said she wants the Trip.com booking app page, I showed her and she said she wants to see the booking ID. I showed her that too and at this point she said ”read it out to me”. The booking ID was on my phone screen and she didn't even bother to see it, and wants me to READ IT ALOUD TO HER. Maybe she's dyslexic? I don't know. Then I added on one extra day of stay which did not reflect on the paper that she asked me to sign so I pointed that out and she double confirmed that it was printed wrongly. Fast forward a few days, all of our access cards were not able to work for our same rooms that we stayed, I assume it is because she did not grant the correct number of days upon check in, which also resulted in some inconvenience going to and fro the room and counter. And that same staff carried the same attitude when renewing the faulty access cards. Every morning the breakfast service staff was rude as well, like I owed her a million dollars or something, ”you which room? you sit here”. One morning she came to me ”how many people in your room? not 2 person?”, I stayed alone in a 3pax family room with no changes at all. I really dread breakfast everyday. When we checked out there was a new crew of desk staff which was much better in terms of attitude and service, it was the weekend team. I had 2 more weeks of stay in Tainan and I moved to another hotel. Overall I will not stay in this hotel ever again, other than the service, everything is great.

FFan of Sun CuifengHotel Sukimi is located within walking distance from the Dongmen Night Market (but not that the NM is only opened on mon, wed and fri)
the room is slightly smaller than it looks from the picture provided but its of comfortable size
the hotel provides soap n shampoo thru dispenser though they no long provide one time use bottles.. toothbrush is provided too.. the hotel has bicycle for rent...there is a park juz outside the hotel, abt 5mins out..
i see many reviews abt the hotel breakfast half good half bad.. dun expect wide spread.. porridge, salad bar, cooked food and toast are available... drinks like hot cold tea, coffee, milk are oso provided.. the menu changed slight on the the days we were there but still relatively good.. macdonalds is outside along the road abt 15mins walk.. can take a good walk at the park and head out for breakfast too
location of the hotel is slightly inside a residential area not in sight from outside the road.. quiet and serene
oh they have ample parking lots underground the hotel or juz outside the hotel @ a low hourly rate
overall i would recommend stay at this hotel 👍🏻👍🏻

UUtente ospiteClean and well kept hotel. Very close to the train station (just across the road) and next to a shopping mall. However, would still need to take uber to other sights of Tainan.
Check in took quite a while as we had 2 rooms booked under Trip.com. Originally gave us only one room with a Trip.com voucher which indicated 2 rooms. After checking for a fairly long while, they found the other room. Quite surprised of this service standard from shangri-la brand of hotels.
We booked 2 nights and early morning which is around 8+am, housekeeping came knocking on our door to want to clean and tidy the room while we were still in bed. Asked how long we needed to let her in to clean the room. Was speechless as this is the first time we had such an encounter.
Disappointed with the service but location and cleanliness of the hotel are good.

UUtente anonimoIl check-in alle 5 e l'uscita alle 11 è troppo breve. 6 ore di soggiorno più breve. Basicamente u check-in per dormire e poi check-out. Non può godere molto delle strutture. Questo dovrebbe essere un luogo di vacanza rilassante. Non capite perché hanno bisogno di tempo per pulire le camere. Conto frontale molto rigoroso con 11:00 check out.
È acqua muda e non muda. Poiché la posizione è nel mezzo di nessuno e l'ora di soggiorno breve, è forzato a mangiare nel resort. Il contatore di fronte vi spingerà il loro menu di set per 2 a TWD1380.
Il costume da nuoto è un dovere di andare alla piscina pubblica. Quindi, ancora una volta, è costretto ad acquistare il loro costume da nuoto timido a un prezzo eccessivamente alto di TWD1080.
