Hotel con parcheggio a Ottawa

Room cleanliness and air conditioning were good. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was simple but good in quality. However the breakfast queue was long and food replenishment was not done in pace with the flow, ended up in a long queue not moving as people stayed in the front of the queue stayed in the queue waiting for replenishment. The dinning space was insufficient that could not accommodate the big crowd. We ran into issue setting up the sofa bed. Calling the front desk asking for assistance we were stunned by a reply saying they would not send staff to help but urging us to try for another attempts and kept reassuring us the sofa bed operation was simple and easy. Finally we got that sorted out with help from other hotel customers.. A major disappointment that totally ruined my experience with the hotel was the way my enquiry was handled towards an unknown charge after I checked out. In the check out bill, it was just a charge billed to my credit card without indicating what service or item I was billed for. While my family did not order or buy anything at all from the hotel and we were in a rush, I did not check the bill upon check out until 5 days later I saw it in my credit card account. I sent an email to the hotel reservation (that was the only email channel I found from the hotel home page) to enquire about the charge and no reply was received ever towards my enquiry and that's what I was hit. Although the unknown charge was refunded after another week, I did not feel good with the way they work. I frankly accept mistakes made by the front desk or the account team for incorrect bill, but I do not accept ignorance and zero communication from the backend on my enquiry. This is something the hotel should improve.

The location is unbeatable! Situated in the heart of downtown, it's just a short walk to ByWard Market, the Rideau Centre, and Parliament Hill, making it the perfect base for exploring Winterlude. The stay was excellent. While the underground parking entrance is a bit tucked away on Daly Avenue, the unlimited in/out privileges are a huge plus for road trippers. The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern. My only minor critique is the 6”parking height restriction, which might be tight for large Suvs. Overall, a high-quality, convenient choice for any Ottawa visit

Location & Accessibility The hotel is perfectly situated near the central business district and major transit hubs, making it ideal for both meetings and sightseeing. Room & Amenities The room was modern, impeccably clean, and featured high-quality bedding that ensured a restful sleep. The fitness center and pool were well-maintained with an efficient layout. Dining & Service The breakfast buffet offered a great variety of fresh options with prompt service. Most importantly, the staff provided professional and attentive hospitality from check-in to departure. Verdict A well-balanced hotel offering consistent quality and a productive environment. Highly recommended for business travelers.

Lo spazio della camera è molto buono, il servizio è molto attento e la camera è stata ristrutturata in modo proattivo. L'hotel ha più di 100 anni. Le strutture sono davvero vecchie. I condizionatori sono vecchi e l'isolamento acustico è nella media. La posizione è molto buona. Capitol Hill è proprio accanto.

La mia esperienza all'hotel è stata eccellente. Ci sono stati negozi di caffè vicino, così è tutto a posto.

Where to begin... first of all, when I made this booking, there was no mention whatsoever of HEAVY DUTY CONSTRUCTION beginning every day at 7 a.m. Naturally upon checking in, I'm informed that there is intense construction happening right next door. And yes, it was brutal. I also SPECIFICALLY booked this hotel because there was an option to reserve now, pay at the hotel. Here are some direct quotes from my booking confirmation email: ”You'll need to pay upon check-in at Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” ”Your payment will be handled by Andaz Ottawa Byward Market, by Hyatt,” and ”Pay at Hotel.” Sure enough, I get there, and the money's already been taken out of my credit card and I owe nothing to the hotel upon check-in. (This matters for reimbursement purposes at the company I work for.) Lastly, I was told when I checked in that housekeeping would be visiting every third day -- that was fine by me. But the very first day, I come back to my room after a long day and someone's been there, replacing towels, removing the minimal garbage in there, etc., which I was not at all prepared for given that I was advised the opposite. It made me extremely uncomfortable because all of my personal effects were left throughout the room, not expecting housekeeping given that I was advised no housekeeping would be coming until the third day. I'll be honest, that creeped me out as someone travelling alone. The staff were apologetic but I didn't find their explanation at all sufficient. (The housekeeping manager and front desk attendant completely contradicted each other.) Overall, such a chaotic stay. Oh, and, the heat in my room didn't work. Had to request a space heater... I mean, c'mon.

Safety: It’s next to a safe injection shelter, so no matter morning or night — be careful don’t walk alone! People are sitting/walking/wandering around the area which somewhat scared me. Parking: They DO NOT have enough parking, when I was there to check in at around 4, I was told parking was full. I need to park somewhere else. They recommend me to a nearby parking (which looks cringy — and people said cars got broken in last week) My car wasn’t a luxurious car so I was lucky I guess. Breakfast: It can get really crowded during breakfast time. Not enough seating. Food was okay though!

Pros: un parcheggio con spazio sufficiente (non è necessario prenotare in anticipo). È vicino un centro commerciale St Laurent. Il colazione è ok. Ci sono 2 sockets e 2 usb-A outlet su ogni lato del letto. Il personale è amichevole in generale. Cons: un po' lontano dalle attrazioni turistiche del centro (circa 10 minuti di auto). Il caffè dalla macchina del caffè in camera era così. Il condizionatore d'aria era piuttosto rumoroso. La TV nella mia stanza non poteva essere spenta (è stata automaticamente spenta dopo nessun segnale per un po'). Ci sono stati alcuni tazze di carta per il caffè, ma nessun altro bicchiere / tazze in tutta la stanza anche per la tostatura dei denti, quindi ho dovuto usare tazze di carta per la tostatura dei denti (è considerato ecologico?)

Grande posto per soggiornare bello e pulito non lontano dal centro. Parcheggio privato e camera per 3 persone è grande con una grande cucina. Sicuramente consiglio. Prezzo è anche conveniente.

Mejor elija otro hotel. El barrio en el que está.... El desayuno es una bolsita de papel con un pequeño yogurt, una magdalena y un pequeño tetrabrik de zumo y te vas para tu habitación. En las fotos del hotel se ve una sala para desayunar pero que no funciona. La insonorización de la habitación es nula, se oye a los otros huéspedes. Cerca tienes sitios donde comer y un supermercado.
