Tanto tempo fa questa Maison fu una casa di appuntamenti gestita dalla signora Souquet. Gli importanti lavori che sono stati fatti per renderla oggi un confortevole albergo hanno tenuto conto dell'antico uso che se ne faceva e, infatti, oggi è considerata uno degli hotel più romantici del mondo. Userei i temini lussurioso e elegante. Abbiamo scelto il pacchetto con massaggio di 30 minuti e utilizzo del Salon d'Eau (la spa), per una notte in camera Deluxe (quella piccola) e colazione a 550 €. Tutte le camere hanno i nomi delle Signore che frequentavano la Maison in antichità. La nostra era Ortensia e aveva decorazioni ispirate al Giappone. La Deluxe si è rivelata una stanza troppo piccola, seppur molto bella. Per fare largo al grande e comodo letto gli altri spazi sono stati sacrificati. Inoltre le prese elettriche erano scomode. Tutte a livello del battiscopa. Abbiamo avuto un doppio intoppo che ha influito sul nostro breve soggiorno. Le lenzuola erano sicuramente pulite e lavate, tuttavia presentavano una macchia, probabilmente indelebile. Abbiamo chiesto che fossero cambiate durante la nostra permanenza nella spa. Purtroppo, al nostro ritorno non erano state ancora sostituite e questo ci ha costretti ad attendere nel corridoio, con l'accappatoio. Per questo disguido ci sono state offerte due coppe di Champagne. Oltre all'utilizzo dello scenografico Salon d'Eau e ai massaggi ben eseguiti, ci siamo concessi dei cocktail nella sala del bar. Le tre sale al piano terra, la hall (sala Mille e Una Notte), il bar e la sala colazioni, sono il punto forte di questo hotel. Magnifiche, ci si potrebbe organizzare un corso di fotografia. Oltre agli arredi, ci sono tante piccole raffinatezze sp**** in giro. Libri decorati, ricami, quadri e un'illuminazione studiata. Ovviamente bassa. Anche in camera, le luci, di non semplice utilizzo, sono regolabili ;-). I barmen lavorano ad alto livello. Abbiamo assaggiato 3 drink veramente interessanti e belli da vedere, anche se c'è stata una piccola incomprensione su un'ordine e non riesco a non dire che la giacca di uno di loro era stropicciatissima. In un hotel 5 stelle, dove un cocktail può costare fino a 24 €, questo non dovrebbe accadere, nemmeno se la vocazione del luogo è libertina. La colazione, infine, non è a buffet. Viene servita direttamente ai tavoli. In definitiva, forse se avessimo fatto due notti, invece che una sola, saremmo riusciti ad apprezzare di più la struttura ed entrare al massimo nell'atmosfera del luogo. Il breve soggiorno unito al disguido delle lenzuola ci hanno probabilmente dato una percezione inferiore a quello che in realtà la Maison è. Comunicazioni via mail rapidissime. Ciao.

A me piaceva · Il bagno a caldo/Jucuzzi era meraviglioso alla fine del giorno. Il Wi-Fi era forte e veloce e ci piaceva soprattutto il fatto che potessi controllare la tua camera (luci, AirCon, Cortine e Tub a caldo) dal iPad fornito. Molto futuristico. Non piaceva · La posizione sembrava provocare l’inalazione profonda dei conducenti di taxi locali, con un prezzo più alto. Abbiamo risortato a Uber alla fine (facciando 10+ viaggi in tutto il luogo) e non avevano problemi affatto.

Prenotato la più grande stanza disponibile e è molto buona dimensione, non si può immaginare molti degli hotel a Parigi offrono così tanto spazio. Un hotel molto familiare nel senso del trattamento, non si sentiva per un secondo come viaggiare con un bambino era un problema per loro, come il resto di Parigi. La decorazione di Natale nel lobby lo rende molto carino e benvenuto e la posizione è perfetta.

Ho passato un gradevole soggiorno presso questo hotel. Posizione ottima vicino alla Gare S.Lazare al centro di Parigi e con una vasta scelta di trasporti pubblici per raggiungere facilmente ogni angolo della città ( meno di 10 minuti a piedi dalla navetta Roissybus per l’aeroporto). Check-in velocissimo. Personale al ricevimento di una gentilezza e cordialità veramente rare a Parigi. Bella hall spaziosa e spazi comuni moderni e luminosi. Le mie richieste in fase di prenotazione sono state ampiamente esaudite ( stanza con vista esterna sulla piazza della stazione con un piccolo balconcino dotato di sedia e tavolino). I Grandi magazzini Lafayette e Printemps sono a 3 minuti di distanza e nei dintorni ristoranti e negozi di ogni tipo. La zona e’ tranquilla e sicura. Ho prenotato una camera Privilège immaginando le ridotte dimensioni delle stanze normali. La stanza dotata di tutti i confort che rendono un soggiorno piacevole e che ci si aspetta da un 4 stelle ma le dimensioni della stanza e del bagno molto piccolo non sono certo da camera di categoria superiore di un 4 stelle. ( anche se a Parigi le dimensioni delle stanze di hotel lasciano spesso a desiderare) . Ottima la colazione con un buffet molto ricco e vario e prodotti di ottima qualità. Gentilissimo e simpatico il personale addetto alle colazioni. Pulizia nel complesso buona ma non eccezionale. Corretto il rispetto delle regole anti Covid. Non ho usufruito dei servizi della SPA e del centro fitness. Non do’ la massima valutazione per le dimensioni ridotte di camera e bagno pur avendo prenotato una stanza di categoria superiore e perché trovo un po’ esagerata la richiesta di ben 300€ tramite pre autorizzazione su carta di credito all’arrivo come cauzione per servizi extra che verrà rimborsata a fine soggiorno. Grazie a tutto lo staff per la gentilezza e cortesia.

La posizione è fantastica, l'edificio è situato in posizione centrale nella città, quindi è molto vicino alle attrazioni. L'accoglienza è stata piuttosto deludente, quando entri nella hall c'è un odore stantio che è piuttosto una svolta per i clienti. Dovrebbero prendere in considerazione l'idea di avere un profumo per nascondere l'odore, dato che era lì per i nostri giorni lì. Bel tocco con un self-service per acqua e dolci. La stanza in sé va bene, ma se porti una valigia grande devi aprirla sul pavimento e diventa schiacciata. Una pecca enorme è la doccia in bagno, dove c'è solo un divisorio in vetro che copre metà vasca! Quindi l'acqua uscirà sicuramente e bagnerà il pavimento esterno. Non c'è nessun posto dove posizionare anche i tuoi articoli da toeletta.

L’albergo è in una bella zona (a due passi dall’Operá e da Galeries Lafayette), è pulito, con camere decenti (piccole come tutte quelle a Parigi). La struttura è però buona e dignitosa. Quando si passa ad altro si cade in un baratro profondo. Siamo arrivati la sera, sotto la pioggia e nessuno si è interessato a noi nè tantomeno ai nostri bagagli: ce li siamo scaricati e li abbiamo portati nella hall, nell’indifferenza totale. Arrivati al check-in ci siamo sentiti dire, da un ragazzo maleducato e sprezzante, che i bagagli potevamo portarceli da soli in camera ed alla domanda “il ristorante è aperto?” la risposta è stata: vada lei a chiedere e la è a pagamento! Una ragazza dietro al bancone si è offerta di aiutarci con i bagagli ed è stata zittita. In camera il frigo era vuoto, nonostante il deposito con la carta, gli asciugamani erano mignon in ognuno dei formati ma soprattutto erano per una persona sola. Ma il punto che più ci ha irritato è che è stato praticamente impossibile chiamare chiunque dalla camera: nè room service, nè concierge, nè altri. Nessuno ci ha risposto. Abbiamo anche cercato di chiamare l’hotel dal cellulare ma neppure in questo caso siamo stati fortunati. Alle 22 di sera, non alle 3!! Si è salvato, come gentilezza e servizio, il bar esterno. Ma non basta a salvare il resto dell’hotel. Non capisco come possano dare 5 stelle ad un albergo così. In Italia sarebbe vuoto. Non vedo l’ora di andarmene e lasciarlo.

Questo è un grande piccolo hotel in una posizione perfetta a Pigalle per il Moulin Rouge. Ho soggiornato con le mie sorelle. L'hotel era pulito, si sentiva sicuro e il personale molto amichevole e utile. Le camere erano confortevoli e tranquille. C'è una stanza da tè/caffe' 24 ore che è utile. Lo consiglierei, si sente bene. Rimanerei sicuramente qui.

Starting from when I didn't even get to the hotel: despite the fact that on Booking it says clearly that the check-in is possible until midnight, at 18:20 I receive a message from them asking when I expected to arrive. When I answered between 19 and 20 their reply was a (quite threatening) message saying that if I didn't show up they would have charged me the first night anyway. With a very ironic ”Welcom to Paris” following. Then I arrived at the check in desk and straight away the guy asked me if I was ok if he charged me all the nights I had to spend there, because my booking had the option to be reimbursed if I didn't show up from the second night because ”it's going to be easier on the paper”. I didn't even notice I had this option, anyway I (naively) agreed because obviously I didn't have any intention to run away. First night in the room it was ok-ish: the room was clean, but the furniture was clearly very cheap, the bed was screeching at every move and the hair dryier was getting too hot to hold in the hand after a couple of minutes of usage. The main problem was the street below though: it was super noisy until 4:30am, and with the heat of these days I couldn't keep the window closed - and there's no AC. But ok, this is not under their control. The big problem came the second night: I came back at around 3am and... there was noone at the desk to open the door of the hotel. I tried to ring multiple times at the doorbell and even called their phone number but noone showed up. I had to go around at 3am in the morning, looking for a place where to sleep because of that. When I went to complain later in the morning they said that the guardian was there all the time and that they didn't have any proof to believe what I was telling them. In the end I had to leave with just their word that the owner had been informed, that he would have checked the security camera recordings and that I would have been contacted. One week later I still have no news from them, so I called the hotel and discovered that noone was aware of anything, and if I didn't send an email there wouldn't have been any follow up. Weird that they didn't mention this when I was there. So I wrote the email and at first I was asked when I had this problem, confirming the fact that noone was aware of it. So I gave the details and they disappeared again. Three days later I write them again and their reply is ”the guardian told me that he was there all the time”. So I explained the problem again, even sending them the receipt of the other hotel I had to pay at 3.30am, and the reply was ”there is not enough proof for me to authorize any kind of refund”. And that was it. The fact that I had to go around at 3am to pay for an accommodation that I already payed to them is clearly not enough to put any doubt on the ”guardian word”. Conclusion: stay away from them, they just don't care at all about the service they give you - as long as they get your money it doesn't matter.

I have just returned from 3 days (2 nights) in Paris with my sister and cousin. We stayed in a triple room (one large double bed and a single). The hotel is quirky and stylish. It is clean and looks very tidy and well-maintained. The team at the hotel were so helpful and welcoming to us and ensured we had everything we needed - they even offered advice about safety whilst out in Paris etc. They kindly stored our luggage for us before check-in and after check-out so we could head straight out to the city to explore. They also made sure to let us know that they were there 24hrs a day to assist. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Nothing seemed tired or needed a refresh. The bathroom was immaculate - fabulous shower over bath. Our room had a separate toilet from the main bathroom, which was actually really great for the three of us - however, there is no sink in the toilet room; certainly not the end of the world, but it would have been even more convenient. Having a more ”Parisian” view would have been wonderful, but I understand that rooms with special views are limited and possibly unavailable for triples. I'd also imagine there is a slightly higher nightly rate for this. The location is perfect - a stone's throw from The Moulin Rouge and the Pigalle and Blanches metro stations. It is right on the edge of the busier, older streets of Montmartre and within a 15min walk of the steps of Sacré-Cœur. Personally, I love this area of Paris as it gives true Parisian vibes and shows the more romantic, bohemian side than perhaps the more central areas do. Just to note that sometimes this area can feel a little more unsafe than other parts of Paris, especially at night, and some interesting characters are roaming the streets (as with many cities!) This is when the staff at the hotel reminded us to keep our bags close. But if you are savvy, polite and sensible, this really shouldn't be a problem. The negatives are minimal; we were exceptionally lucky with some warm spring weather, which meant the room got hot! We cranked up what we think was the fan/air-con, but it made little difference. We couldn't open the windows to sleep as the area is bustling and can be fairly noisy at night. I think possibly the air-con for the building wasn't yet on, or something like that, but it wasn't a huge issue. I've got no doubt that we could have called reception for a fix should it have bothered us enough. I would stay again for the location alone, but the cherry on the cake is that it is genuinely a very lovely, reasonably-priced boutique hotel. We are already planning to head back to Paris very soon and wouldn't question staying at Le Chat Noir when we do. It will be my first port of call, and I will also recommend it to my friends and family.

I was contemplating if i’d do a review on this.. but i think i should. We were staying at this hotel for a family 3p.. we rented 3rooms for like 4nights if im not mistaken.. unfortunately our room was ROBBED.. we went in gladly in the hotel after having a long day out exploring the city. Only to find out that our ipad is missing. Thought we just missed placed it ,thanks to the high tech world that we’re able to locate our ipad and it was in the police station already (like what??how?) . On our disbilief i discovered that i also lost my 2bags .. before making a scene, we ran sacked our room , flip everything that we might misplaced it even if we clearly know where we put it before we got out.. when we found out that it’s nowhere to be found, it was then we got down to the reception telling that our room was robbed.. and the receptionist told us that wen we get in, he already knew that it was us who got robbed. And told us the story about how they caught the thief, what they got like 2 bags and 1 ipad.. to cut the story short , the security of this hotel is below negative, i dnt know if it was a thing in Paris , it was our 1st time there, but we’ve been travelling so much and this hotel is the only one who ddn’t get our details(passports or something to know Like who’s staying on their hotel.. everyone can go in and out of this hotel.. fortunately the other clients who got robbed caught the thief in the act of robbing their room and asked for help. If not for them, we won’t recover anything that was lost.. we even lost one day of this 4day 3p just to go in the police station to get our things back without them atleast coming with Us to help us. Fortunately we have friends there who came with us because it’s hard to communicate in english in the police station and we also wait a long time just to get our things back.. still we lost 1 bag: and they told us that it’s all they’ve got..(sigh) .. it’s sad how they handle the situation as if nothing.. for 2days we’ve been waiting for updates but non. They won’t give you updates if you will not asked.. they nvr talked to us to make sure that everything’s ok or that won’t happen again.. out of frustration , we ddnt argue anymore.. i still want to see the cctv how it happened but we have limited time for it.. but when we checked out they reimbursed the 3nights we stayed there… it’s a pity coz if this doesnt happened.. i’d say probably a great place to stay and friendly staff.. it’s just that the security in this hotel is below negative so just be careful

Siamo rimasti qui per un weekend di compleanno e è stato sorprendente, il personale è così bello e non può fare abbastanza per aiutarvi. Ci sono stati particolarmente impressionati dal personale della zona del colazione che ha fatto un sforzo speciale per uscire e ottenere pane extra. Quando siamo andati e aspettati nella zona di accoglienza, il concierge ci ha fatto due caffè senza problemi.
