Buona pulizia e personale cortese. Presente un ATM ed un distributore automatico di cibo e bevande. Caffè americano disponibile. Buon albergo che ci ha consentito una buona base d’appoggio senza spendere una follia; tutto sommato rapporto qualità/prezzo buono.

Quando vengo negli Stati Uniti per un viaggio d'affari, vado prima a New York. Un amico mi ha consigliato di soggiornare sull'isola di Manhattan. Dopo un'analisi approfondita, questo è l'hotel più conveniente. Non ci sono quasi rivali a questo prezzo nelle vicinanze. Ci sono molti turisti stranieri e i bagagli possono essere depositati al primo piano. Le persone alla reception erano molto accoglienti. Ma anche i difetti sono evidenti. L'isolamento acustico è davvero pessimo. Quando le persone della porta accanto tornano o camminano nel corridoio, non ci sono quasi persone e l'isolamento acustico posso solo accendere il minimo per guardare la TV. C'era una macchina per il ghiaccio davanti alla porta della stanza (una caratteristica degli hotel americani). Si avviava ogni volta, come un trattore. Per fortuna avevo bisogno di liberarmi del jet lag e mi addormentavo in un ambiente rumoroso. Inoltre, è comunque un hotel molto buono ed economico. Le persone con una buona qualità del sonno possono ignorarlo.

It is the first time that we find a hotel room where the TV is bigger than the closet. Perhaps the hotel's policy is to set up the rooms differently depending on the season: large TV and small wardrobe during the warm season and small TV and large wardrobe during the winter season? Amazing! Considering that the space in the closet is only 23 inches (60cm) the suitcases cannot be emptied and must find a place around the bed in order to be opened. The positive consequence is that moving around the room helps to learn the Sirtaki dance steps: 4 steps on the side and two steps forward. The size of the bathroom is inconsistent with that of the room. The bathroom, in fact, is surprisingly large. The drains, on the other hand, are consistent with the narrowness of the room, in fact as soon as we arrived in the room we found the drains clogged (promptly purged by the hotel's ”specialist technician”). The air conditioning, turned on by default, reminds us of a subway station: the same movement of air and above all the same noise when the subway cars arrive. The same ”specialised technician” then intervened to activate the futuristic air conditioning control unit where, by going through labyrinthine menus, submenus and sub-submenus, in the end he was able to access the on/off disclaimer. Unfortunately the instruction manual for this control unit is not available in the room consequently we have replaced that bizarre electronic panel with that archaic tool called ”window” where with a marvelous handle one is able to change the air in the room. The operation of this tool is friendly enough that it does not need an instruction manual. The room is also equipped with a large screen through which at night you can watch the silhouette puppet show. The screen is the dividing wall between the bedroom and the bathroom built in opaque glass. It is enough to go to the bathroom and turn on the light, whoever is on the bed can enjoy the exhibition, free of charge. The restaurant is quite good and the prices are ok.

Super friendly from the front desk check-in process to the restaurant and bar staff. Concierge was also very helpful. Great seating areas for work, relaxing, or enjoying a drink with friends. Good choice of gluten-free breakfast options both in the restaurant and for room service. You just need to ask. The staff were really friendly and helpful when informed of specific dietary needs. Had a brilliant stay in Hoboken. It was so quick and easy to get into the city (PATH: 15 minute/ 5 stop train ride from Hoboken into downtown Manhattan. Then you get the best of both worlds. A beautiful waterfront experience with pedestrian walkways and great restaurants, as well as access to the vibrant New York city life.

La posizione dei trasporti è molto buona, puoi prendere la metropolitana fino alla stazione di Columbus Circle, che è a sei minuti a piedi da Central Park. Al mattino puoi camminare lungo Central Park per quindici minuti fino al Museo di Storia Naturale. La stanza era molto piccola e il vecchio condizionatore della finestra era rumoroso. Lo spegnevo quando andavo a letto la sera. Vivevamo su un piano con più di dieci persone di fila di 851 a notte era considerato ragionevole per tale hardware in questa zona di New York. Il più economico, il Trump Hotel della porta accanto, costava più di 5.000 a notte, e l'hotel in cui ho cambiato in seguito costava più di 1.600 a notte. Ma praticamente non c'è conforto, il letto è piccolo e duro e l'effetto di isolamento acustico è praticamente inesistente.

Durante il mio soggiorno di una settimana all'ostello Hi New York, dal 14 al 21 dicembre, ho trovato l'esperienza complessiva piuttosto piacevole. Il processo di check-in si è svolto senza intoppi, grazie al personale della reception sempre presente, disponibile ed efficiente, che ha assicurato un buon inizio del mio soggiorno La vicinanza della mensa e della caffetteria accanto all'area della reception ha aumentato la comodità. La caffetteria offriva una deliziosa selezione di prodotti appena sfornati e varie bevande, rendendola un luogo piacevole in cui rilassarsi. Mentre esploravo le vicine Bodegas alla ricerca di generi alimentari a basso costo, la cucina pubblica dell'ostello è diventata il mio punto di riferimento per preparare la colazione e la cena. Sebbene la cucina comune occasionalmente soffrisse di abbandono dopo l'uso, il personale dedicato dell'ostello ha assicurato che rimanesse pulita e ben attrezzata. La pulizia dei servizi condivisi si estendeva anche ai servizi igienici, che erano costantemente ben mantenuti e forniti di servizi. Questa attenzione all'igiene ha contribuito in modo significativo a un'esperienza complessiva positiva. Nonostante avessi prenotato un posto letto in una camera da 12 letti, sono rimasto piacevolmente sorpreso dalla spaziosità e dalla routine di pulizia quotidiana effettuata dal diligente personale dell'ostello. In aggiunta all'esperienza positiva, la posizione dell'ostello Hi New York si è rivelata eccezionalmente comoda per esplorare le principali destinazioni. La vicinanza dell'ostello a una stazione della metropolitana, a soli 2 minuti a piedi, ha reso gli spostamenti per la città un gioco da ragazzi. Questa accessibilità ha migliorato la comodità generale del mio soggiorno, permettendomi di raggiungere ed esplorare facilmente varie attrazioni senza problemi. La posizione strategica vicino alla stazione della metropolitana è stata senza dubbio una risorsa preziosa per chiunque desideri sfruttare al meglio il proprio tempo in città. In sostanza, l'ostello Hi New York offre un'opzione di alloggio confortevole ed economica con il suo personale cordiale, servizi convenienti e spazi comuni ben tenuti. Il mio soggiorno è stato caratterizzato da un armonioso equilibrio tra convenienza e qualità del servizio.

Nice hotel located near hotpot restaurant and KTV. Felt like I was back in China! The front desk clerk was not there upon checkout… I just left the key. Love the airport motif.

We were at this hotel for one night. There was a power failure which affected the hotel, and of course, this was not the hotel's fault, although it did result in inconvenience and discomfort to our stay. In addition, some guests were having a noisy party just outside the front entrance which was loud enough to keep me awake in the middle of the night -- our room was a few floors up overlooking the party. I felt that we deserved either compensation or credit for a future stay at a Hilton property, so I went to speak to the manager in the morning. However, there was a long line of people waiting to complain to the manager, and we had to leave, so I didn't get to speak with him. I subsequently emailed the manager 3 times to ask for compensation and he never replied. I called 5 times and the manager was supposedly never there. Finally, I spoke to the assistant manager. He listened attentively assured me that someone would get back to me. That was two weeks ago. I am very disappointed in this poor customer service and unprofessional behavior of their managerial staff.

Inizialmente era un po' confuso perché le suite Homewood e Hampton Inn erano elencate nello stesso edificio, ma siamo lieti di aver scelto Hampton perché era più economico, ma anche condividendo le stesse attrazioni. Il tasso era decente e per la qualità. Era un po' fuori strada per arrivare alla città, ma l'autobus era accessibile e dovrebbe durare solo circa 30 minuti per arrivare alla città.
