Hotel a Muskoka, Canada

There were 2 people ahead of us at check-In but it was over 45 minutes before we were able to get to the desk. There was only one attendant and the people ahead of us had a lost reservation. Annoying but fine…. It happens. Then, our room key doesn’t work, we get replacements and those don’t work either. It’s now been over an hour and we still aren’t in our room…. The one front desk attendant is the ONLY person working and came up to let us in with a key…. But this meant delaying other peoples checkin so she could come upstairs with us. We finally get in and the tv does not work or turn on…. The list goes on. All small things but the build up of items is really frustrating. The hotel looks completely dishelved, and dirty (the rooms however were clean enough though… the one and only saving grace. I should add the girl at the desk was very pleasant but clearly overwhelmed. These issues are not her fault but she’s been left alone to handle them. I saw other people heading back to the desk with tv remotes and keys… so I imagine we aren’t the only people having trouble. Anyways, we’ve previously stayed at the Quality Inn on ecclestone and will return there next time. We won’t come back here. Comparable price but absolutely not a comparable experience.

Non eravamo sicuri di cosa aspettare sulla base di recensioni, ma devo dire che ci siamo piacevolmente sorpresi. Questo hotel era gemme. Pulizia era A+. Le strutture dell'hotel, come piscina e stanza di giochi, hanno tenuto i bambini occupati e crema di ghiaccio sulle strade è stato un'aggiunta aggiuntiva! Ho trovato il personale piacevole, la nostra stanza e le aree in cui ci trovavamo erano molto pulite. Avevamo colazione al ristorante dell'hotel era tutto ok, non molte opzioni per i vegetariani e il prezzo era un po' alto a mio parere. In generale, ci sarebbe rimasto!

Porto la mia famiglia due volte all'anno, giocando in acqua in estate, ammirando l'acero in autunno, e spiaggia privata. C'è una cucina dove puoi cucinare il tuo cibo, ma devo dire che la cena dell'hotel è davvero ottima, bistecca e salmone devono essere ordinati!
