Un luogo davvero piacevole in cui soggiornare. Il personale è cordiale e gentile, il cibo gustoso e l’accoglienza magnifica. Impossibile dimenticare quanto sia stato piacevole trovare il camino acceso in camera la sera, la borsa dell’acqua calda sotto il piumone, il servizio di pulizia delle scarpe dopo il gorilla trekking ed il massaggio ai piedi. Posso solo consigliarlo a chiunque voglia trascorrere dei giorni nel Voulcanos National Park. Non vedo l’ora di tornare! Grazie a tutti ♥️

Abbiamo passato 2 notti in questo lodge con una vista magnifica sui vulcani. Tutto lo staff si è dimostrato molto cordiale, ci tengono a farti sentire parte della famiglia. Le camere sono rustiche e fredde ma la sera accendono il fuoco per regalare un po’ di tepore agli ospiti. Una sera abbiamo mangiato a buffet perché l’hotel era al completo mentre l’altra abbiamo mangiato con servizio al tavolo. Poca scelta ma piatti semplici e ben cucinati. Al ritorno dal trekking ti fanno la cortesia di pulire gli scarponcini e se lo desideri ti fanno un massaggio rilassante ai piedi. Un posto semplice ma le persone che lo gestiscono gli danno una marcia in più.

4 Seasons and Ritz and Mandarin don't have a nice and friendly service as this Lodge. Food was also very good. I mean very good. Ok, listen up , the rainy season is the rainy season. We had 2 beautiful days and 2 rainy days. Low season for a reason, but we prefer no crowds, but if you insist on sun go in summer high season.

We love our 2-night stay at Ingagi Park View Lodge. Six of us were spoiled by their good service. My friend and I stayed at a beautiful room: Muhouza. Our bed was warmed up by the hot water bottle every night and the fire was lit while we were enjoying our dinner. The bed is comfortable and we slept very well every night. Some of us rented gaiters in the lodge and they helped us to put them on and take them off. They also washed all our muddy hiking shoes and dry them. My relatives brought their own gaiters and the staff was so kind and also washed them for free. Excellent service!! We were also spoiled with a free foot message after our gorilla trekking!! The restaurant staff is great and always served our food with a nice smile. I highly recommend you to stay at Ingagi Park View Lodge.

The gardens were wonderful. The bungalows were clean and maintained. The food was excellent. Having the fire built in the room was nice (though it was sometimes confusing when and how this would be done). There was a fire pit going outside. The bar upstairs was wonderful with a little portable fireplace brought to our table. We really appreciated the way the meals were done with a choice of a European style meal, a local style meal or a vegetarian style meal. Every meal was delicious. Others have said that there is no heat in the bungalows, but from what we heard this is quite common. We never felt cold even when the fire ended. The fireplace is so deep and covered that we never felt running a fire was unsafe as others have mentioned (though we are used to wood heat). Our favorite part of the entire visit was Julius (Thank you for lunch in the garden Julius!). We absolutely loved Julius. He seemed genuinely friendly in every way and not just in hopes of increasing a monetary outcome. Gaiters were offered and boots were cleaned. Loved supporting this fantastic lodge.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights for our double Gorilla trek and we loved Ingagi Park View Lodge. The staff go above and beyond to help you in anyway they can, nothing is too much trouble for them. The chalets are spacious with water, tea and coffee provided. There is an area outside the chalet to relax and take in the calming views. The food is absolutely excellent, we were on full board and the choices at each meal would satisfy anyone. The lodge is the perfect base for a Gorilla trek and there's no doubt that if we do come back to Volcanoes Park we would once again stay here. Finally a shout out to Julius our waiter in the dining room, his warmth, dedication and attention to detail shines through, he is an absolute star.

Spent one night at this lodge for gorilla trekking recently, totally wished we could have spent at least 2 more nights. The service from the staff are impeccable, and attentive. The food was delicious with a wide variety in our New Year Eve buffet. The rooms are well appointed with homey touches. You can see multiple volcanoes from the gardens which is one of the highlights of this location. Thank you Ingagi staff for a beautiful but short visit!

Everything was excellent - staff, food, accommodation, service - all in a beautiful setting. We had our own fireplace lit for us each night and hot water bottles. The staff spoilt us and we wanted for nothing. There's nothing we'd change! Highly recommended; we hope to return one day.

I didn’t want to leave Ingagi! I stayed 3 nights to do the gorilla trekking, golden monkeys hike and also a bike ride. I was the only one there for 2 out of the 3 days since it was the low/rainy season and felt so spoiled by the hospitality and warmth of the staff! It did rain but I got lucky and none of my activities were affected by the rain. Daniel helped me book everything and obtain my gorilla trekking permit before I arrived which made things a lot easier. He even upgraded me once I got there which made my stay one I will never forget! He also helped me arrange all transportation from the airport and also to and from the gorilla trekking area (you will need to arrange transportation). All of the staff were amazing — Julius, Egide and Godereva were the ones I interacted with the most. The food was delicious! And having the fires at night along with the hot water bottles helped keep me warm. I was initially a bit worried about having the fires (it was mainly wood with some coal I think) since I have asthma but there was no smoke or fumes that irritated me so I welcomed them every night. It was so relaxing to fall asleep with a bit of the fire still going. The foot massage and shoe cleaning post gorilla trekking was a really nice touch. My shoes were nearly unrecognizable after all the mud during the gorilla trekking but Godereva somehow worked her magic and they looked brand new again! Being able to see the gorillas and stay at such a beautiful place with wonderful staff made this part of my trip beyond perfect!

We had a really wonderful time at Ingagi. The room, with a nightly fire in the fireplace, was beautiful and comfortable. The food was delicious. The gardens on the property and the views are exquisite and serene. And the staff was amazing, super kind and attentive. Highly recommended!

We spent 2 nights at the lodge for gorilla trekking and golden monkeys. Our trip was all arranged by Daniel at the lodge who did a fantastic job. It also included 2 nights in Kigali and a driver to and from the airport. When we arrived at the lodge we were warmly greeted by the staff and given ginger tea and a cookie. The lodge itself is rustic but very nice and comfortable. We had hot water bottles each night in our bed and the fire was going. The food was fantastic! After gorilla trekking our shoes were taken off and we enjoyed a foot massage. Our shoes and gaiters were returned all clean. Overall our stay was absolutely wonderful and we definitely recommend it!

We stayed at Ingagi two nights while visiting mountain gorillas and golden monkeys in early March. We have been here before and enjoyed being back. They do not disappoint. The food was excellent, Internet is good, their staff takes incredible care of guests and our rooms were beautiful and very clean. They built a fire in the room's fireplace to warm it up in evening. Foot massages after gorilla trekking is amazing and they clean up your muddy shoes, usually to almost new condition. We love staying here and it is just a short walk down the road to the Dian Fossey Gorilla Center, which has excellent exhibits and its a great place to buy souvenirs.

This place is wonderful. Set in beautiful gardens, the individual bungalows are private and well equipped. My room maid, Aime, had lit the fire and put hot water bottles in the bed on my return after a hard day's trek. The y even cleaned my walking boots and gave a foot massage. The food was delicious - the best I had on my ten day visit to Uganda and Rwanda. The staff were charming and very attentive.

We couldn’t have been cared for better. They made us feel endlessly welcome. The food was delicious the accommodations more than we had hoped for and the service always so kind and thoughtful. Especially loved having a fire built for us every night. Truly couldn’t recommend enough.
