UUtente anonimoWe had a truly enjoyable stay at The Cove Hillside in Ipoh. The unit is spacious and comfortable, making it perfect for families or groups who want a relaxing getaway. The surrounding scenery is beautiful, offering a peaceful atmosphere that’s great for unwinding and spending quality time together.
We also appreciate how well-maintained the facilities are, from the cleanliness of the rooms to the amenities provided throughout the stay. Everything felt thoughtfully prepared and taken care of. Overall, it was a very pleasant and refreshing experience, and I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a calm and relaxing stay in Ipoh.

UUtente ospiteStayed at Hotel 1969 and had a very pleasant experience. The staff were polite and kind throughout our stay, especially the concierge, who also acted as our airport transfer driver. Although I did not get his name, he was very responsible and ensured we arrived at the airport on time.
We also enjoyed a nice breakfast before heading off, which was perfect and satisfying. The hotel location is very convenient, with many coffeeshops nearby.
Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely return again.

CCatherine scAvevo un soggiorno di solito piacevole in questo soggiorno. L'unità era pulita, ben mantenuta e confortevole. La posizione è anche conveniente, con facile accesso alle strutture vicine. Una menzione speciale alle guardie di sicurezza, che erano eccezionalmente amichevole e benvenute, che hanno reso l'esperienza complessiva ancora migliore.
Tuttavia, ci sono alcune aree che potrebbero essere migliorate. La pressione dell'acqua nel doccia era estremamente bassa, così tanto che ha reso la doccia piuttosto difficile e inconfortabile. Inoltre, per un'unità a due camere, è stato fornito solo una carta d'accesso. Questo è stato piuttosto scomodo, poiché la carta è necessaria non solo per entrare nell'unità, ma anche per usare l'ascensore, rendendo difficile per più ospiti spostarsi liberamente.
In generale, mentre il soggiorno è confortevole e piacevole in molti aspetti, affrontare questi problemi migliorerebbe notevolmente l'esperienza degli ospiti.

UUtente ospiteIt’s a house that they separated into one small unit (2 doublebed) and another big unit (one with a living room that we didn’t stay) I would stay for the location but if you value privacy, i wouldn’t recommend because the two units are separated by a makeshift door where you can see the other unit through the gaps and then hear other people talk. Then sharing one parking. They didnt have clear signage (the number fell off i presumed) But service is fast and helpful! (We had issues with the wifi because the other unit turn it off)

2) Very new building, everything in the room is very clean, cosy. It has bath shower tub, baby cot. Just that if the group does not need the baby cot, can consider keeping it. As the room has some constrain. Shape of unit is long, with the baby cot, the room is a bit difficult for elderly to move. We let elderly have room with toilet.(main bed room)
3) nice view of Ipoh, easy to find unit. Never use facilities, so no comment on that.
4) Easy to find food nearby, short drive

TTerence Yong RenThe property is a newly built bungalow just beside a hill and a temple. there are plenty of local foods around within a few minutes of walking distance. the check in check out is very simple, and the host and caretaker are friendly. since it's slightly further out from the city, the air is fresh especially so because we are beside one of the big hills.
One downside: at night, there will be a low pitch humming, which I presume is the pump running for the water tanks. it didn't bother me, but soundproofing could be improved for the rooms.
there's enough parking at the property or beside it for about 6-7 cars, so no issues there.
