In generale, bene, l'ultima notte ha preso la corrente di stanza e l'edificio ha aiutato temporaneamente a regolare la stanza.La posizione è vicino all'Università di Melbourne, molto vicina, il dipartimento medico dell'Università è in costruzione, ma la notte è molto tranquilla.Il parco sottostante è molto grande e fantastico. Melbourne è ancora un po' freddo la notte, e le vacanze invernali devono portare una lunga manica.

The staff members were great! They were attentive and friendly and made us feel very welcome—the highlight of our stay. The location in the heart of the theatre district is also terrific. The elite lounge has kind of an odd setup, but both breakfast options and evening appetizers and drinks were plentiful and tasty. Water pressure in the shower was a trickle, and our 2 double beds were comically close together—maybe 15cm between them. Overall, though, it was a quality Marriott experience.

Sono interstatale per le attività commerciali su base regolare e ho soggiornato in molti luoghi di alloggio ben classificati, tuttavia, impegnato a trovare qualcosa da criticare in questo hotel. Un piccolo tavolo e sedie, divano e TV enorme sono una caratteristica benvenuta. Le strutture di conferenza funzionavano bene. La sala di conferenza, la sala colazione e il bar Bistro/cocktail intimati offrono cibo e bevande di qualità. Il mio partner è disabilito in una sedia a rotelle e tutte le sue esigenze erano ben soddisfatte e veramente soddisfatte in una stanza standard. Solo una suggerimento - sarebbe bello avere un impianto di fermature magnetiche, quindi la porta resterà aperta mentre passa con la sedia a rotelle o i sacchetti.Grazie, team Marriott, saremo sicuramente indietro :)

Choosing Dorsett for my first journey to Australia. Price is rather okay since it is winter. Dorsett located in the city center，which is about a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Bus Station. There is a model car placing right beside the front door. Front desk receptionists are friendly and it took only couple of minutes to check in. 200 Australian dollar is required as deposit，either by credit card or cash. The room is about 30 square meters，which is big enough for two person. Facilities are fine，but neither disposable items （toothbrush，slipper）nor drinking water were provided. City view could be seen from the window. Swimming pool is at the 7th floor. Housekeeping service of 10 Australian dollar is included in the room price and is refundable for those who do not need it. Food delivery is available but could only be place at the lobby. Remember to take your room key at night in case the front door is locked after certain period. Checking out is also fast and luggage storage service is provided. Overall，living in Dorsett is a good experience.

I had a great experience at MCB! This hostel is greatly located- a 3 minute walk from the sky bus station (which is exactly what you want coming from a flight!) and in the CBD. When I arrived I was really tired and wanted a nap straight away. My room wasn't ready as I was earlier than the check in time but the receptionist made sure to notify me as soon as the room was ready which I really appreciated. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. They offer free breakfast 07:00-11:00 I believe? I appreciated this every day. My room was clean and so were the facilities. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it!

Out of town location - you need to take a tram to Melbourne Business center- luckily is pretty convenient as tram station just opposite the hotel.
Don’t stay here if you are driving - as no proper space for you to load off your luggage and the parking is 300m away- charges is also not cheap if considered is outskirts of town area.
Hotel lobby- nothing to shout about and the services is just normal- it definitely can be improved. Room look ok for the price we paid- while all the other was normal - including the breakfast- nothing to shout about and is definitely below my expectation since it’s bearing the name of Sheraton

L'hotel è al di là della mia attesa. La posizione è magnifica, a pochi minuti a piedi dalla Stazione Southern Cross, che è super comodo per il transito. Il personale è molto gentile e amichevole. Ho controllato molto tardi alla notte e il ricevitore mi ha aiutato gentilmente a portare i miei pesanti bagagli in alto. La stanza è spaziosa e ben attrezzata. Ci sono anche una microonde e un piccolo frigo con piastre e forbici disponibili nella stanza. Il bagno è anche ben attrezzato e tempestivo.Sono molto soddisfatto di Travelodge e verrò di sicuro quando viaggiare a Melbourne.

A really nice hostel, with a lot of sympathicly supporting program. But: in the little things unfortunately more appearance than reality. The rooms lack ventilation/air conditioning. The protective curtains are mostly torn out. Cleaning in the corners is sporadic. The kitchen is cleaned too irregularly, so that food remains dry in all places. The shower does not provide a constant water temperature and brown mold forms. The staff is generally quite nice, but room for improvement is nevertheless also. The Selina Hostel brand can improve it, and better.

UUtente ospiteQuesto è un bel ristorante. L'interno è molto pulito e grande. Il letto è comodo e il bagno è buono con i jacuzzi. Vederete cangurosi e cocktail fuori dal cottage in mattina e sera. I miei figli godono molto del soggiorno. Tuttavia, è necessario cucinare i propri pasti o andare a mangiare. La guida è circa 15 minuti.

I had an accessible room which felt strange because the proportions were different but not a problem. There were some stains on the mirror. It was obvious what they were. Use your imagination. ThBreakfast was great. Just walk in and grab a table.
Really good location. 3min walk from Southern Cross where the Skybus drops you off.

The room was smaller than expected but clean that is the most important for me, 7 mins walking distance from the southern station, very convenient location.

UUtente ospiteThe hotel is conveniently located right in the heart of Melbourne near the Spanish Quarter, Bourke Street Mall, and other shopping precincts. The staff are friendly and efficient at check-in. The rooms are good in size with modern amenities and comfortable beds. There is a kettle and small fridge. The bathroom has a bath with a shower, so if you have mobility issues, it's not for you. There is no rail to hold onto when getting in or out, which makes it dangerous, especially as it gets slippery. There is a pool and gyn which were modern and accessible. The room we had faced into the mezzanine of the hotel so you dont get any light from outside, which was strange. The room was very quiet and had a good air conditioner. Overall, we would stay here again, although the lack of being able to see outside wasn't ideal, and if you stayed for more than one night, it could be an issue.

Not recommended for internati9nal travellers who may not have enough charge on their phones to complete 3 forms, then download and set up an app that requires constant internet and Bluetooth connections.
Booking required multiple insecure methods of sharing credit card details and identification documents along with 2 forms to fill out with personal details and an app to download in order to gain access to the Building entrance, Elevator, and Apartment.
None of this information was given to me prior to booking. I would not have stayed here if I had known the extent of insecure transmission of personal information and amount of admin and work required just to check in and stay one night. I work in this space and know the risks. Management is putting guests personal data at risks with the excessive documentation requests.
FYI, requiring someone to send credit card PICTURES and ID pictures over email is completely insecure. This is bizarrely at odds with the excessive security to get into the building.
The constant need to carry your phone everywhere or you'd be locked of the apartment or even the whole building was extremely stressful.
In terms of the actual room, once I got in, the bed, kitchen, lounge and floors were clean but the toilet had not been cleaned in a long time. This was not nice. You could see parts under the rim had not been cleaned in years. Toilet had also been recently used and not flushed properly upon arrival. I did not take photos of any of this, it was too gross.
I ended up buying paper cups as the glasses/cups as those supplied were not clean, tried to take a picture but it's hard to see. They were covered in fingerprints and fibres of some kind.
The view was nice and loungeroom was great, study nook was extremely handy for remote work. Balcony tiles are moving and could be a tripping hazard. Laundry was well equipped but did not have time to use it.

The hotel located at an area outside t4, next to the big parking building/bus terminal, but there are no/minimum signage/directions leading to the hotel, while only one arrow at the bus terminal pointing at the big building with the large novotel logo, making everyone thinks that we can access the hotel through the well lighted bus terminal with ease, but sadly there is no crossing facilities between the terminal and hotel, you will need to lift your luggages, jaywalking through two car lane and climbing up the lane islands if you dont want to walk back 200m for the unnoticeable correct route; in fact the only route leading to the hotel from the airport is the side walk OPPOSITE to the big arrow with poor lightings and no signage at all. As a tourist with heavy luggage, thanks for offering the chance to weight lifting. When we arrived and reflect the problem, concierge said they also received similar complains. So nothing has been done to correct the nonsense and good luck to all the up coming visitors.
The room is decent to be honest and with a clear view facing the car park building we mentioned earlier, no much to see yet no problem for us too. Bed is soft and comfortable allowing us to have some good rest. However, theres an empty black bottle in the rubbish bin i believed to be the leftover from the last guest, hope the housekeeper can have a closer look in the future.
Some facilities have great designs that i would like to greet the designer/procurement and admire their mastermind for installing those equipment and challenge the wisdom of humankind. For instance: the anti-intuitive shower switch for change to top shower or handheld shower head, it is semi cylinder disguised as part of wall mount of the top shower, which is about 1.9m - 2m from the ground, for those who cant find the switch and not tall enough will have to stick with what was preset. Second, the hot water dispenser at the breakfast bar, you can simply press the two buttons on top and nothing would happen, turns out there is an extra sensor you need to block with your thumb and use another finger to press the buttons on top, this can encourage guests to give up on the hot water if no one is around to ask.
The breakfast is the most disappointing part, frankly all quality are high standard but the choices are few and basic, simply bacons/ eggs/ veges/ salad/ hams (well the mushrooms are very impressive though), there is also a honey hive (with a rectangular frame) but mostly empty at the middle (at the time of 7am) where the side are hard to spoon out, ppl try very hard but the loose stands make it even harder to spoon out, the frame eventually collapse and guest gave up to take the hive. No staff notice/try to fix the collapsed honey hive/ change to a new one during my whole breakfast ( around half an hour) and remain the same when we left. The pancakes supposed to be eat with the honey are dry and inedible imo too.
The price for the hotel is not cheap comparing to the nearing but the standard does not meet up with the price, facilities are new and thats the only advantage on the table.
PS: the hotel offer free shuttle to the terminals too, try to mention and book for your shuttle as there are only 3-4 seats if everyone have large luggages, otherwise the concierge will be surprised you did not ask for this hidden service with no mentioning during check in and no timetable ever provided when you check with them in the morning.

Il trucco è mentre pubblicizzano $125 per notte, venerdì e sabato notte i prezzi vanno fuori dallo scala. Leggi la tua proposta, anche se sei in fretta. Ci sono camere molto migliori intorno a circa 200 dollari o più. Ci siamo trasferiti 4 notti e abbiamo prolungato un altro - un sabato. (Famiglie in prossimità). Il signore ha detto $120 per la notte extra, ma quando ho ricevuto la mia dichiarazione, era $189! Allora mi è reso conto che mi era stato imputato anche per venerdì. Rieducato in contatto e andare e non disturbare la ricetta. In questo momento, questi prezzi non sono eccessivamente elevati - per un stabilimento ragionevole. Anche se nella stanza le basi erano ragionevoli, la stanza aveva un tostapane e microonde, ma non ci sono piatti di pane o cuttery, solo piccole bowling. Chiesto al ricevimento e si è dato qualche cucina e bolle di pasta.Grande per il toast! A quanto pare la gente continua a rubarli o a romperli. Quindi, caricali e avere qualcosa di ragionevole per la gente ragionevole! La porta non si stava aperta nemmeno senza un colpo con la spalla e poi si era catturata solo per millimetri. La catena era in piedi e le sedie erano in posizione, non preoccupatevi. La stanza era servita solo una volta durante il nostro soggiorno dopo che abbiamo chiesto. Il furgone di bagaglio è arrivato a 4.00Am o così e ha svuotato molteplici sbarre appena vicino (in loco) con tutte le pressioni e il supporto, il grilletto idraulico e il rospo diesel, probabilmente avresti accettato a $120 strani dollari a notte, ma davvero? Il mio partner era pronto a camminare nei primi cinque minuti con il suo abuso di solito della mia miseria.Come avresti potuto immaginare, la questione dei prezzi è quello che si fa davvero in alto. Il resto che si aspetta e accetta per un affare più economico. Ma la prossima volta che siamo vicini a Lilydale, possiamo pagare $189, ma cercheremo un valore $189.

UUtente ospiteIt was the long weekend in Melbourne and we had to wait for quite a while to check in. Check in time was 3pm but we only managed get our room after waiting for about 1-1.5 hours at the lobby. It was nice that they offered champagne to all the guests waiting at the lobby though. They also had to give us another room (a bit of a downgrade from level 9 to level 8 facing different directions) as our room was not ready. The porter, Oscar, was very helpful and friendly. When we got to our room, there was an extra bed and he helped us move the bed out and everything back to where it supposed to be effectively. The room was clean but there were only 2 pillows (supposedly 4) on the bed. Called reception to get more pillows but got told that they will try to source some as they’re running low on pillow at the time :/ Kind of unbelievable for a 5-star hotel. I also later found out that the electric curtain in the bathroom was not working and the night light lamp was dying and flashing. There were no soft drinks or snacks at the minibar so if you want something simple to drink or eat at night, you’ll need to order room service + a delivery fee of $8. Overall, the location is fantastic, really close to the shops and restaurants we wanted to go. The hotel is quite basic for a 5 star hotel - there’s no coffee machine, hair straightener available for hire or firmer pillows for use. Having said that, the location really beats everything and I’ll probably book this again when I travel to Melbourne next time.
