Camere pulite, personale amichevole e posizione perfetta. Facile accesso ai punti di trasporto pubblico e di pasto. Grande valore per i soldi. Buona opzione di bilancio per una breve visita. Mi piacerebbe tornare.

This is a really good quality hotel in a nice part of Melbourne. We are Accor Plus members but this night was booked using Emirates points. Accor still gave us a a top floor room with a stunning view and the usual free drink vouchers, which I didn't expect since I didn't book with them. The room was clean with the aforementioned good view and had every thing you need for a short stay. Improvements would be a coffee machine instead of simply a kettle, and a better Chromecast as the one we had just wouldn't work. These are minor issues though. Lifts were very slow, as only one seemed to be operating. Breakfast was efficient and tasty, although the included coffee could be improved and the extra charge coffee was too cold to be enjoyable. All in all an excellent hotel to stay at if you need to stay in the South Wharf end of Melbourne, and we will certainly stay again.

Good service, great location within CBD, close to Southern Cross and Flinders stations, within free tram zone too. The bed was comfie enough, room small, dated and needed a lick of paint and fridge really noisy. Even at 5 storeys up you can hear traffic, especially sirens. BUT, I wouldn't let that put you off, IF you simply need an affordable base to go explore etc.

Space is the first hostel of my trip and it’s set the bar pretty high! Staff are lovely, everywhere was always super clean, beds are comfy, towels are provided and you can even grab a fresh one every day if you wish. Location is great, would recommend the Queen Victoria Market for something to do and “pizza pizza pizza” was lush. There’s nothing “on” as such at the hostel but this didn’t bother us. The only thing that would be good is some extra fridges as they were packed full every day and it was hard to put your own food in anywhere. Would definitely come back.

Choosing Dorsett for my first journey to Australia. Price is rather okay since it is winter. Dorsett located in the city center，which is about a 10-minute walk from Southern Cross Bus Station. There is a model car placing right beside the front door. Front desk receptionists are friendly and it took only couple of minutes to check in. 200 Australian dollar is required as deposit，either by credit card or cash. The room is about 30 square meters，which is big enough for two person. Facilities are fine，but neither disposable items （toothbrush，slipper）nor drinking water were provided. City view could be seen from the window. Swimming pool is at the 7th floor. Housekeeping service of 10 Australian dollar is included in the room price and is refundable for those who do not need it. Food delivery is available but could only be place at the lobby. Remember to take your room key at night in case the front door is locked after certain period. Checking out is also fast and luggage storage service is provided. Overall，living in Dorsett is a good experience.

Il servizio all'hotel era amichevole, ma il standard, accettando che si tratta di un hotel a basso costo era inferiore a quello che mi aspettavo... tutti i mobili hanno chips di pittura mancanti e il divano e le tende hanno piccole righe notevoli, dicolorazione generale e solo un aspetto generale in calo. La vasca e la cucina potrebbero fare soprattutto con una veramente pulita... solo un po' di attenzione per lavare le pareti e le noci e le crane sopra il check out standard di pulire per rendere effettivamente più pulita della superficie... È davvero le piccole cose; fornire 5 piccole bottiglie di shampoo e non condizionatore, (chiesto ai pulitori e dissero che non è stato rilasciato condizionatore) ma affermare di fornire i bagni... nessun asciugacapelli, solo 2 asciugamani per una persona per 2 notti; per fornire un lavatrice di vestiti ma non lavatrice liquido per lavare i vostri vestiti... ma 6 compresse per il lavatrice? Opzioni strane che tutti hanno aggiunto alla mia involontà di rimanere in questo hotel di nuovo o lo consiglio. Mi sono divertito anche nelle vicinanze di Aldi per lavare i vestiti liquidi, condizionatore, e pulire i lavastoviglie, così potevo sentirmi comodo seduto in una sala sporca..

Everything was perfect! From the beautiful interiors to the restaurant/bar downstairs to the friendly and helpful staff, to the perfect location in Fitzroy. We were celebrating my birthday and the lovely staff left a hand written note with some sweet treats, such a thoughtful touch. We also ate at the restaurant downstairs and had the most gorgeous food and wine.. you have to try the dumplings!! I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else in Melbourne now!

Sono interstatale per le attività commerciali su base regolare e ho soggiornato in molti luoghi di alloggio ben classificati, tuttavia, impegnato a trovare qualcosa da criticare in questo hotel. Il personale è sorprendente - niente è troppo difficile, fanno tutte le piccole cose, oltre e oltre ciò che mi aspetto che ti faccia sentire come un ospite speciale. Tutti sembravano ”colpiti a mano” per adattarsi alla cultura di servizio dell'hotel. La qualità e la pulizia delle strutture sono A1. Le camere sono confortevoli e tranquille. Un piccolo tavolo e sedie, divano e TV enorme sono una caratteristica benvenuta. Le strutture di conferenza funzionavano bene. La sala di conferenza, la sala colazione e il bar Bistro/cocktail intimati offrono cibo e bevande di qualità. Il mio partner è disabilito in una sedia a rotelle e tutte le sue esigenze erano ben soddisfatte e veramente soddisfatte in una stanza standard. Solo una suggerimento - sarebbe bello avere un impianto di fermature magnetiche, quindi la porta resterà aperta mentre passa con la sedia a rotelle o i sacchetti.Grazie, team Marriott, saremo sicuramente indietro :)

In generale, bene, l'ultima notte ha preso la corrente di stanza e l'edificio ha aiutato temporaneamente a regolare la stanza.La posizione è vicino all'Università di Melbourne, molto vicina, il dipartimento medico dell'Università è in costruzione, ma la notte è molto tranquilla.Il parco sottostante è molto grande e fantastico. Melbourne è ancora un po' freddo la notte, e le vacanze invernali devono portare una lunga manica.

My wife and I operate a small coach tour company, and have done so for the last 28 years. We offer residents of Sydney, the Central Coast, the Southern Highlands, Canberra and Queanbeyan, the opportunity to travel on a variety of tours, ranging from four days to ten days in length, to different areas in Eastern Australia. Last week, a group of our passengers from these areas travelled on a seven-day tour to Victoria. During the tour, our passengers stayed for four nights at the Novotel Melbourne Preston. We certainly have no complaints or regrets about using this Hotel for our group’s stay! When I first contacted the Hotel in September 2023, about the possibility of using it for my tour group’s accommodation for this tour, my enquiry was treated with genuine enthusiasm. I was put through to the Sales Manager, Ms Michele Kerrigan. Michele was amazing to deal with. After a steady stream of telephone conversations and emails during the next few days, the accommodation was booked, and the menus for all the dinners during this stay were locked in. At some hotels we’ve used over the years, this process can take weeks, and it can be quite a frustrating experience. At this Hotel, it was the exact opposite. So, a huge ‘thank you’ to Michele, for making this all so easy for us as tour organisers! After all the arrangements we finalised, and the booking was locked in, Michele passed on our booking to the Sales Coordinator, Annalise Dimase. Once again, Annalise was an absolute delight to work with! Between the finalisation of the booking, and the date of the group’s arrival, we spoke many, many times on the phone, and exchanged many, many emails. In all my dealings with Annalise, she was professional, personable, helpful, patient, and attentive. On a few occasions, when Annalise was unavailable, I was transferred to Nada, another member of the Sales Team. Again, Nada was wonderful to work with. When our tour group arrived at the hotel, Michele, Nada, and Annalise were all there to greet the passengers. They were very impressed by the warm and friendly welcome offered to them by this team! Once inside the Hotel, this level of service was experienced in all sections. The reception staff, the housekeeping staff, the restaurant staff, the chef and kitchen staff were all friendly, welcoming, obliging, and helpful. We would have no hesitation in recommending this Hotel to any tour groups requiring accommodation in Melbourne. Judging by our experience, it would be difficult to surpass the level of attentiveness and friendliness offered by the management team and staff, the quality of service, the degree of comfort, and the attention to detail our group received during their stay.
