Hotel in zona Museum of Women - Women's Museum, Marrakesh

Staying at La Claire Fontaine during Eid al-Adha was a fantastic experience, especially with most places closed. The Riad's design is a perfect blend of modern comfort and exotic Moroccan charm, noticeable in every corner, piece of furniture, and the overall ambiance. Our room was beautiful, with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The bathroom was spacious, and the furniture and decorations were truly exquisite. The toiletries provided were also of very good quality. The WiFi quality was good through out the Riad. The patio was refreshing and charming, providing a lovely spot to enjoy a drink or the delicious breakfast served each morning. As an espresso fan, I was delighted with the in-room espresso maker and the quality of espresso prepared for us during breakfast. The rooftop terrace was another highlight, offering a relaxing space between walks and a delightful dinner prepared especially for us by the Riad team. Our stay at La Claire Fontaine was memorable not just for the comfort and atmosphere, but because we felt genuinely at home. Special thanks to Smail, Soulaimane, and Younes for their exceptional care and hospitality. You made our stay unforgettable! 2 important tips: - Ignore people on the streets who claim your Google Maps is wrong, or the street is closed, and offer to guide you another way or show you an exhibition. These individuals will ask for money, and the streets are not actually closed, nor are there exhibitions—just shops. Engaging with them will waste your time and cause frustration. - When you go back to the airport, plan for three hours, especially if you fly Ryanair. They stamp boarding passes at the check-in desks, even if you only have carry-on luggage. There are huge queues at the check-in desks (Ryanair staff can be quite rude and slow, and regardless of your luggage size, they might force you to pay an extra fee; we witnessed many disputes and scandals during our 1.5-hour wait in this queue) and at passport control you need about an hour.

Posizione strategica: 5 minuti da Jeema al Fna, 15 da Gemliz 25 da Jardin... Uno dei parcheggi per Taxi della città è proprio fuori l'hotel. Piscina esposta a sud quindi in pieno sole per tutta la giornata. Lunga per nuotare. Molto pulita. Ambiente perfetto per relax, snack, due chiacchiere. Personale cordiale. Massima disponibilità per qualsiasi iniziativa a qualsiasi ora del giorno e della notte. Camere sgangherate. Ne abbiamo cambiate due, la prima a causa di un odore tremendo nel bagno. All'inizio il personale ci voleva convincere che fosse un disinfettante per pulire ma si è dovuto arrendere all'evidenza, complice anche la ventola di aspirazione che non funzionava. In camera c'è tutto quello che serve. Le prese della corrente sono due, una in bagno ed una in zona televisione. La televisione non funziona o almeno questo ci è capitato nelle nostre due. I telefonini si ricaricano a distanza dal letto, bene per le radiazioni e male per spegnere la sveglia. La reception non ha modo di ricordare la sveglia ed il telefono dell'hotel in camera funziona poco e malissimo. Le finestre hanno vetri singoli e nella stagione invernale ci sono spifferi. Il climatizzatore è rumoroso. Per tre giorni la signora del mantenimento si è dimenticata il sapone in bagno ed il bagno shampoo nella doccia. I prodotti sostitutivi sono pessimi.  Tubature arrugginite. L'acqua calda arriva marrone per almeno due minuti. Sala colazione enorme ma non riscaldata quindi in inverno si mangia al fresco e coperti. Il buffet è scadente per quantità ma quello che c'è è di discreta fattura. Supporto per escursioni da dimenticare: organizza tour che disdice o modifica a piacere negli itinerari e nei costi per le visite. Fuori si trova di meglio. Consiglio per chi ama l'essenziale e gli ambienti spartani. Il prezzo è ragionevole. Posiziona e piscina sono tutto quello che il posto ha da offire. Peccato manchi di cure o sarebbe davvero il posto perfetto...secondo me.

Uno dei posti migliori in cui soggiornare nella medina. Bello ed elegante, camere pulite, colazione semplice. Anche la posizione è abbastanza buona, perché non è così lontano da raggiungere a piedi la medina dal taxi (altri riad possono essere così lontani e non è comodo trovarli, soprattutto quando si hanno molti vestiti). Un'altra cosa: sono davvero dotati di tutto ciò di cui hai bisogno nelle camere: frigorifero, smart TV, asciugacapelli, anche nelle camere singole. Non tutti i riad possono averlo, soprattutto a questo prezzo. Personale cordiale e molto disponibile. Particolarmente grato a Hassan, che mi ha aiutato con le mie mille domande 😅 Quindi, posso consigliare questo posto. Ho soggiornato in alcuni riad in diversi punti della medina, ed è stato il posto più confortevole.

La hall dell'hotel è magnifica, la camera è molto spaziosa, la piscina è molto pulita e anche il buffet è molto bello.Con tali condizioni di alloggio, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto.La stanza è praticamente in palio , e la stanza ha un balcone. La stanza del fine settimana è molto stretta. Se hai bisogno di prenotare, dovresti prenotare un po 'prima.

I lavandi non sembravano distrutti, erano incisi su tutto. Un uomo amichevole alla reception

NE RESERVE - EVITI A ALL COSTE- Questo hotel deve essere evitato a tutti i costi!!!! Non fidate di rating positivi, non possono essere fidati e sono stati pagati per. Evitare questo hotel a qualsiasi prezzo!!!! Non credere agli annunci postivi, acquisti un piccolo scout da questo hotel. Ditry letti forniti ogni giorno, biancheria inchiodata ogni giorno, accoppiatori rotti nei bagni (!!!!), nessun AC, molto piccola piscina, testa di doccia rotta, un manager molto aggressivo. Abbiamo lasciato prima della fine del nostro soggiorno in un altro hotel. Questo posto non è sicuro! Draps sales, litrie douteuse, piscine trop petite, attrezzature a l'abandon, un manager aggressivo, prises murales exposées dans les salles de bains!! , draps dechires, abbiamo richiesto il rimborso delle nostre spese. abbiamo lasciato l'hotel prima della fine del nostro soggiorno. Non eravamo al sicuro!

Hotel molto carino e ben posizionato vicino a tutti i servizi ma il personale non è attento La spa non è degna di un 5mondes essendo un fan delle spa 5mondes da evitare... olio freddo, pressione incontrollata mi sono ritrovato con il collo bloccato

What a gem of a property in the Accor catalog of accommodation and hospitality! I am a senior, solo, single traveler, and Ibis rooms are just fine with me! The Wi-Fi could be a little bit better, but that's the problem with the vendor and the Internet service Provider, not the Ibis. Although this Ibis would be within their rights to demand better service- in 2023, with 100+ rooms. I came directly from an Ibis in Lisbon, which had fewer items for breakfast, and no Chef for evening dinner! The breakfast is a wonderful mix of Moroccan, Arabic, French foods, but also American/English. Scrambled eggs are made without dairy, and I brought my own gluten-free bread from Carrefour to be sure. While they do have a container of Honey, I bring my own, as I don't like touching containers and spoons touched by other customers... another customer absconded with my honey yesterday, and one of the wait staff had to retrieve it! Three languages are spoken here: Moroccan, Arabic, French, and plenty of English. Any word that is too specific can be translated on any of the web translation sources. Like when I needed to explain that DHL was bringing a package with my gluten-free chocolate chip cookies that Carrefour does not stock! There's been some shuffling of the wait staff in the last few days, but besides being new, quiet, and shy, they are all talented and all understand hospitality. The evening dinner is attended to by the top echelon of the hotel staff and everything is more than fine – which in my case means a very plain and simple American taste. Since I don't carry currency, the evening food bill goes on my room tab. Breakfast was part of the booking in the first place, but I don't fully understand what ”half-board” means, if that means evening dinner, so I will be inquiring about that. Being next-door to the train station means it's a three minute walk to excellent sight seeing and people watching. And McDonald's of you so care, and at least two mobile phone SIM shops. Carrefour is a 10 minute walk, and there is a shopping mall which is about a 20 minute walk which I will be visiting for recreation purposes and window shopping, to get a feel for the retail culture of this city. And people watching! I did read about the potable water situation on a Moroccan tourism page. This Ibis has plenty of bottled water, so just ask- at Reception and of course in the Restaurant.  I also read about cash versus credit card. The three places that I have spent money at have all accepted cards. It is currently Ramadan, but this Ibis respects International tourists' needs and wants. No disruption of service- and the staff seem to be very happy to be celebrating the holiday. My room had two minor maintenance issues, which were resolved quickly. The garden is beautiful and peaceful, and well manicured. I have stayed with other brand name chain hotels in the US and Europe. There is nothing in this historic building that is outdated, or in need of renovation. The most important
