The Heritage is a boutique hotel with 40-something rooms and the emphasis is very much on a personal service. It’s part of the Relais and Chateau group, a chain I’d always avoided in the past as I’d assumed it would be beyond my means. How fortunate I was this time to take a chance. All of the staff are unfailingly polite, friendly and helpful and I can honestly say I’ve never been so well looked after in a hotel before. Alicia and Dana checked me in, seamlessly, and I was offered a glass of Cava whilst this happened. I was then shown to my room - a Junior Suite - on the sixth floor, where the decoration could best be described as opulent. A huge bed, an antique desk and chair, two further chairs, flatscreen tv, Nespresso coffee machine, mini-bar, safe etc. Everything you’d expect in a high end hotel. Enough coat hangers as I was travelling solo but possibly not quite enough if two people had shared the room. But that’s a small gripe. The bathroom included a hydrotherapy bath, which I didn’t use, and the largest rain forest shower I’ve come across. Despite being on a busy road junction there was minimal traffic noise thanks to effective double glazing. Internally, I was disturbed only once by a slamming door. There will always be thoughtless travellers who let that happen but that’s not the fault of the hotel. The bed mattress was a little on the firm side for me. It must be a difficult issue for hotels of any level as it's often just down to personal taste. But this is a good example of the extraordinary service given by the Heritage. I happened to mention the mattress to Julian, the General Manger, who explained that because it was a public holiday in Madrid (the day before Good Friday) it meant he was unable to get hold of a replacement mattress for me. But he did despatch his head of housekeeping to a department store to buy a mattress topper which was then added to my bed. This was a big improvement and definitely above and and beyond what I was expecting. The hotel restaurant must also get a mention. It’s presided over by a two-star Michelin chef (the stars awarded for a restaurant elsewhere) and was a revelation. At dinner the flavours were outstanding. And from the same kitchen came a very good cooked breakfast each morning. It was my first visit to Madrid and I was there for a week over Easter. The city is as beautiful as everyone says and I saw some amazing art and enjoyed spectacular weather. But I also struck lucky in my choice of hotel. Special thanks to manager Leticia for trying to get me in to “the best” flamenco show in town. Alas, it was fully booked on the nights I was free. But then Alicia found somewhere else for me so all’s well that ends well!

Ho soggiornato nella stanza di Zaha Hadid, il design della stanza è molto particolare, come nello spazio di un'astronave. In effetti, l'esperienza del check-in è davvero speciale e la stanza è molto confortevole. Tuttavia, l'ambiente intorno all'hotel non è molto buono, vicino all'autostrada e alle zone residenziali. Vai in centro città, la stazione della metropolitana non è lontana, cammina per 5 minuti, vai in centro città almeno 9 fermate (trasferimento una volta), prendi un taxi per circa 16-18 euro. Il servizio alla reception dell'hotel è mediocre, volevo passare a una suite, la reception ha detto che dovevo controllare lo stato della prenotazione, ma non c'è stata risposta e gli ospiti non hanno mai salutato quando sono usciti. Il servizio alla reception non sembrava affatto un servizio a cinque stelle. La piscina dell'hotel è bella e pulita, ma è molto piccola, il tempo è di 38 gradi e l'acqua è fredda. Molte strutture dello skyline bar dell'hotel non sono aperte. Il parcheggio costa 26 euro per 24 ore.

Certamente una buona opzione per rimanere a Madrid, io sono qui in dicembre che vado di nuovo lì. Posso davvero raccomandare questo posto, l'unico svantaggio è che se qualcuno dei vostri vicini lascia presto i servizi della cameriera possono fare così tanto rumore e voi finite svegli a causa del rumore che fanno.

The two bedroom suite we stayed in was really spacious and nice. It wasn’t as clean as I expected. There was hair and dirt in the fridge and the toilets. They gave us an inventory of everything in the apartment. Quite a few things were missing, which we pointed out. I had purchased a nice bottle of Rioja and was looking forward to relaxing the night we arrived. But the listed corkscrew was missing! We notified the staff member and he said he’d bring one. Hours later I asked again. He said he’d bring it the next day. We never got a corkscrew and I wasn’t able to enjoy my rioja. We asked for more nespresso coffee pods for the room. The staff member told us to come downstairs and get it ourselves. The next day my husband went down to get some more coffee and another staff member told us we weren’t allowed to get our own coffee and was really rude about it. He said we had to call and ask for it. We also had been getting refills on the dishwasher detergent. We asked for more one day and we’re told we were responsible for buying our own. Overall, I was disappointed in the customer service at this hotel. The staff were rude and unhelpful. The room was spacious but not as clean as I was expecting. Disappointing.

We stayed 4 nights before Christmas. The hotel was quite nice and very festive! Very much enjoyed the large area around and up to the hotel bar on the ground level. Nice place to relax, and also have a drink. We did not eat at the hotel however. The staff was also quite pleasant and we got a quiet room higher up facing the interior courtyard. The room was well kept, perfect size, and well furnished. The concierge helped us find things to do, and we learned how to get to the nearby metro stations to head downtown. The surrounding neighborhood is very nice, quiet, and with a number of very small boutique restaurants. Another added bonus was that the famous Sorolla Museum (His House) is just a few blocks away. We would return here.

Stavo 2 notti a Zenit Abeda. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile. Ricevitore e ristorante in particolare. La qualità dell'hotel è buona. Non posso farlo. Pulizia, sicurezza e posizione è piuttosto centrale con accesso alla metropolitana. Le camere sono scure, nessuna luce naturale. Una piccola prigione si sente alle camere, il cibo nel ristorante è medio in basso. Cercherò personalmente di mangiare in città invece dell'hotel. Non si è divertito troppo a mangiare la nostra carne, perché la qualità della carne era piuttosto scarsa.In generale, rimaniamo piacevoli senza essere troppo lussuosi.

Abbiamo scelto questo hotel per la sua vicinanza all'abitazione di una nostra cara parente e ammetto che ci siamo trovati assai bene, sia in termini di accoglienza, che di comfort e di varietà della prima colazione. Quindi, niente da eccepire, se non fosse per l'impossibilità di accedere alle reti televisive italiane, a differenza di quanto osservato per altre reti straniere, quali la BBC, France 2, reti tedesche e quant'altro. Ciò detto, l'hotel dispone di una hall molto ampia, ben strutturata e servizi affidabili e gode di una bella posizione in un quartiere elegante. Lo consiglio senz'altro, come consiglio alla direzione di risolvere il citato problema televisivo, ampliando i canali satellitari!

I stayed for a week for business. Every staff member (front desk, housekeeping, restaurant) was friendly and helpful in every interaction. Spacious, lively lobby with nice views of pool and city, outside lounge with comfortable seating and plants. I like to walk and take public transportation. Closest Metro is a ten-minute walk, so no problem for me. The neighborhood is safe and residential, mixed with small and large businesses. I felt comfortable the entire time, whether arriving at 9pm or going out while it was still dark to catch a Metro at 6am. All metro stations nearby felt totally safe and clean. (I used four different stations to depart and come back from the hotel during the week, and they were all clean, and safe. My walks to and from them, 10-20 minutes, were enjoyable.) Lastly, breakfast was VAST. They have more variety than you can possibly eat in one meal.

Hotel meraviglioso vicino al centro wizin. Stavamo andando al meraviglioso concerto di Ateez al centro Wizin ed è stato il massimo, le persone dell'hotel erano super cordiali e la stanza era meravigliosa.Siamo arrivati molto presto, alle 6 del mattino e anche così ci hanno tenuto la valigia per noi finché non ebbero la stanza pronta, alle sette e mezza. Il materasso è fenomenale... ma i cuscini hanno deluso me e mia figlia... un po' scomodo per noi... ma nel complesso è stata un'ottima esperienza, la ripeterei senza esitazione.

It was a short holiday trip which we enjoyed very much and our stay at the NH Madrid Principe de Vergara was an important part of it, as we felt very confortable as a whole. However it is a pity that in general hotels tend lately not to provide a proper restaurant service for guests as honestly found that the bar/cafeteria service, does not really fit with the 4 star cathegory of the hotel, even though service was good.

La stanza era spaziosa e pulita. Il tema della stanza era anche molto bello, tutte le camere sembravano molto artistiche. Il personale era molto amichevole e utile, in grado di aiutarmi a stampare qualcosa di piccolo quando le ho chiesto. Aveva un supermercato vicino, così potresti facilmente ottenere le esigenze di base. Anche un sacco di cibo grande e interessante intorno alla zona. La mia stanza era anche molto tranquilla e non sentiva alcun traffico in mezzo alla notte nonostante l'hotel fosse vicino a una strada.

I chose this hotel fir this convenient location for the purpose of my trip. It is situated close to metro stations of 6 and 9 metro lines. My room was really big, with kitchenette (which I didnt realised at the time of my booking), big bathroom with all necessary toiletries. The bed was double, very comfortable. Everything nicely clean. It had safe box and Nespresso machine but coffee capsules are obtainable (to buy) at the reception. The light in the bathroom could be better, it was more atmosphere lighting than practical for putting make-up.The breakfast was decent, coffee (again Nespresso) was great. Good free wifi. Like in most hotels hanging your towel doesn’t really mean that they will not be changed - mine was despite of that. Though my coffee cup wasn’t washed thought but left unwashed - yes, there was kitchenette to wash it but there was nothing to wash it with. I would appreciate more for the dirty cup to be washed than for all decorative pillows and runners to be put again on the bed. I wouldn’t say that the hotel was noisy, possibly not appropriate insulation because if someone is talking on the corridor you could hear it and it could be annoying. Great, helpful, professional staff.

Siamo membri del Titanio Bonvoy e siamo stati aggiornati in una grande e molto bella stanza. Sfortunatamente, ci siamo stati solo una notte, ma era molto pulito e confortevole. L'hotel ha un buffet di colazione molto buono, e mi sorprendeva un po', perché non mi aspettavo (non ho molta esperienza con il marchio AC e il loro hotel a Atocha Station non offre colazione). C'era un bus di mattina presto e stavamo correndo per colazione, quindi mangiavo il mio sandwich per colazione dalla mano mentre uscivo dal buffet e mi fermava il personale e mi disse che non potevo prendere il cibo dalla stanza del colazione, ma che Lei avrebbe lasciato andare ”questo tempo” e non era un bel modo per iniziare il giorno con questo servizio al cliente inutilmente cattivo. Il personale del desk front era eccellente. Ci siamo camminati molto facilmente alla stazione di autobus e quindi è una scelta eccellente se siete venuti/ Vi sono sicuramente negozi/restauranti in questa zona e si è vicino a una stazione di metropolitana, ma se si vuole un hotel a passeggiata dalle principali attrazioni turistiche, questa non è una buona scelta. Tutto molto pulito e confortevole e la camera era molto tranquilla, quindi la qualità del sonno era eccellente.

We stayed at the hotel for two nights and really enjoyed it. The room was spacious, clean and tidy. The shower and toilets are clean. We didn't lack anything in the room. The breakfast buffet was rich with options even for those who avoid gluten and are sensitive to milk. There are bus stops near the hotel, so you can easily get anywhere in the city. Less than a minute's walk from the hotel there is a supermarket with a fairly rich selection of products. We didn't need the help of the hotel staff, but the one or two times we went to reception we were received with courtesy. All in all a good hotel that there is a chance we will choose next time we come to Madrid.

La grandezza della mia camera da letto e letto. Non pensavo che i letti singoli fossero ancora offerti in hotel così ben noto? . Le viste erano orribili (le scale interne dell'hotel) ma ciò era previsto quando ho prenotato la stanza standard doppia. L'esperienza di cena del ristorante non era accettabile. Non avevano molte opzioni elencate nel menu, hanno sbagliato il mio ordine, la qualità del cibo era terribile. L'octopus era duro. Il hamburger vegetariano ha gustato come incontrarsi. Non è grande come ordinare un hamburger vegetariano, di solito non ti piace la carne, ma i pastori sono stati accentuati, perché erano chiaramente scarsi di personale.

Si', è basicamente un ostello studentesco.Ma va bene. Ho pagato per la camera di livello superiore ”Suite esecutiva con terrazza” e era ancora metà del prezzo degli hotel vicini.Cons: - Se siete più di 30 anni, sentirete come un dinosauro - Non è consentito alcol in costruzione - vi grideranno se vi vedranno portare - Le camere si sentono assolutamente come fossero dotate per un totale di euro zero. Continuano a essere comodi, ma non sono carine e tutto si sente a buon mercato. Pros: - Molto casuale - Molto buono per soldi - Colazione gratuita - Shutter di smarrimento in rotolamento nella stanza e buon isolamento sonoro rende facile per dormire - Personale amichevole - Kitchenette in camera (a livello di studio esecutivo) - Grande terrazza di tetto e, se si aggiorna, La terrazza privata è in camera. Giovani viaggiatori soli e coppie - soprattutto se si parla spagnolo - dovrebbero certamente controllarlo.
