Large stately hotel. the hotel also has residences which means less hotel guests and traffic (in a good way). i generally look for hotels with pools and saunas attached and the pool area has was beautiful was outdoor patio with view of alps and lakes. Lockers, robes and slippers provided. i had room #205 which had peekaboo view of lake and mainly a rooftop, I suspect City View rooms would be noisy with busy road in front. book lake view if possible. the front staff was lovely and very helpful. They were very accommodating in trying to sort out my room. I could have been made to move after the 1st night but to their credit - saw it was easier to keep me in the same room. restaurant and bar with outdoor seating looking out towards lake and promenade. Heavenly!

I was first thinking that ok..this will be a regular hotel room..and Marriotts are nice.. I was wrong.. IT is not just a Marriott. It is a beautiful more like a boutique type hotel. The staff were great. The location is a short distance from the train station and everything is close and walkable. The hotel gave a transportation pass for the entire city. We used the bus to come back into town and it was easy (first time I took a bus in 40 years) All the main attractions for downtown are right there. The shower...best shower I have ever had in my life. The bed was very comfortable and I slept soundly with out outside noise ever even being heard. The dinner in the hotel will not get a thumbs up, skip that one, but the breakfast was outstanding and one of the best we had in Switzerland. It was a buffet and made to order eggs and pancakes. I would definitely stay here again.

Stayed two nights the staff was very friendly and the location is in a quiet neighborhood about 10 minutes from the train station. Short walk over to old town Room was very large and well appointed. The only bad thing was the lighting as not very good and the windows did not have blinds or drapes which made light at night a little bit of an issue Overall great location and staff with a large room with some quirks

Unpleasant smell when entered into the room. Bathroom slipper only provided upon request, size given to me just nice fit into my size 34 and other size, no size for men too. Shower gel was placed near the basin and you need to walk out from shower area to get it.

Ho davvero adorato il posto! Davvero pulito e moderno! Il letto era comodo ei cuscini erano davvero morbidi. Anche la colazione era ottima. La posizione è a pochi passi dalla stazione e ci sono molte fermate di autobus proprio di fronte. Ci tornerei!

Ho soggiornato dal 4 al 6 sett e Posizione strategica Camere piccole bagno piccolo ma come punto di appoggio non discuto Pulizia ......non camminare scalzi il resto è ok Colazione TASSATIVAMENTE NO non vengono rispettate le norme anti Covid e neanche del buon senso gli ospiti prendono e tagliano formaggi pane ecc senza l’ausilio di guanti o altro (a disposizione dei tovaglioli ) qualità cibo medio Personale alla reception gentile e disponibile mentre le 2 cameriere alla colazione sono state davvero antipatiche e scortesi In fine lo consiglio solo per la posizione Parcheggio a 200metri 25 franchi al giorno

Yeah…no. Where to begin… Rooms in a maze of stairs that allows a unique experience hearing everything in your bedroom (guests at the reception directly to your bed in the second floor). Bathrooms are absolutely awful (hair drier with exposed power cables), additionally if you are not staying alone, be prepared to share the experience with your guest in the toilet (glass door: no privacy, no sound dampening light directly in line of sight of the bed. Whether you are showering or brushing your teeth or going number two, it is now a group experience). The hotel boasts paid parking, what they neglect to mention is that you don’t have free access to your car. Since they have private parking that is not accessible to you as a guest. Comfortable bed. Location is good, but I would point you towards ibis style rather than this place. Did I mention that the floor (and bed) vibrate when a bus pass by ? Oh and before I forget, there was a random 42CHF charge on checkout, didn’t inquire as I just wanted to leave at this point. P.s: don’t go for the croissants at breakfast, as apparently they serve day(or two)old croissants. Hard as a rock

E'un piccolo hotel rosso, il terreno è davvero buono. Il sole è pieno di balcone e stanza quando si ferma l'oggi pomeriggio.La stanza è leggermente piccola, l'apparecchiatura è un po'antica ma può essere accettata. La prossima volta dovresti scegliere qui. Se il bagaglio è più o pesante, non è consigliabile.La strada e le scale qui vicino non sono molto amichevole.

Visited Lucerne with a friend for 3 nights, and stayed at Hotel Beau Sejour for our trip. It was absolutely lovely; I don’t think we could’ve picked a better place (especially for the price!). Overview: Very clean room, polite staff, complimentary breakfast, nice quiet location, very cute decor. Highly recommend! Staff: The hotel staff were polite and attentive. They gave us nice local food recommendations and let us borrow umbrellas when it was raining. We only knew English, but it was very easy to communicate with the staff. Everyone we talked to seemed to be fluent in English, German, and/or French. Room: Our hotel room had the perfect amount of space for the two of us. Double sinks in our room, which was very convenient. They also provided shampoo (no conditioner though), body lotion, plug adapters, and complimentary chocolate (delicious)! Our room also had a nice view of the lake. Hotel: Very cute decor; clean; working elevator (a little small, but still fit my friend and I with our suitcases and backpacks); also had the charm of an older building while still being comfortable with nice amenities. Location: It was a little removed from the city center (maybe a 15-20 minute walk). I liked this, since it made for a quieter stay. But I can see this not being ideal for people who want to be a little closer to the city center. If you can make the walk, though, I highly recommend this location! It’s a nice easy flat walk, and it’s beautiful (the path to the city is right along the lake). Being away from the center of the city made it nice and quiet. I am usually lazy, and walking is not really my thing, but the walk to the city was enjoyable—even for me! Extras: They had great complimentary breakfast (much better than American continental-style breakfast haha). It included different coffees, cheeses, jams, breads, yogurt, granola, boiled egg, and some fruit! Very convenient and yummy. If you are gluten-free, they have yogurts, fruits, and cheese (no gluten-free pastries—I wasn’t expecting them to have that, though). They also had vegan yogurt and oat/soy/almond milk if you’re vegan! No meat or anything, which was totally okay with me, but don’t go in expecting a full hearty breakfast with bacon and sausage lol! It was all delicious and convenient! Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you’re staying in Lucerne! I will be recommending this hotel to others who plan a trip to Switzerland!

Stayed for 2 nights at this hotel, we booked the room for 4 peoples and we came with 5 peoples instead because we booked it through an app, i intend to pay the additional bf and charges at the spot. All the staff are friendly and a lot of smile except one, which i guess is the boss. In the morning when we are going to have bf i talk to the receptionist or the boss about paying for an extra charge for another person. He look at me with anger and said he is pissed of me because of having 5 peoples instead of 4 allowed . Im willing to pay for an extra charge and asked for his help to find me another room but his reply really surprised me, he said he is fully booked and insisted one of my family member to move out today, he said it is not his problem. Well this is something new for me, a hotel with a boss acting as receptionist, and a hospitality industry that evicting a customer who is willing to pay. In the end he deactivated my key card and make my mother and my wife abandoned in the lobby waiting for me to talk to the boss to reactivate the key card. When i go talk to him ,he already waiting with another key for another room . He said i have a single room available for you to rent and it will cost you Chf 120 for one night. Why dont he said that in the morning when I talk to him ? Is he did it to show me that he is in power ? Well the question is, is it legal for him to lock my room ,which i had pay in full, just to make me come to him, instead of him talk to me and ask me to pay extra ? So many drama in altstadt krone hotel. Now the reviews Lobby is minimalist Room is standard Bathroom empty shampoo dispenser Breakfast standard selection but the taste is delicious Location is the best Hotel staff is friendly And Drama is plenty
