Hotel di lusso a Shenyang

"Ok, location is good, because all the luxury brands are directly downstairs, but hey if you're not there to splurge, no point~ because getting to other popular shopping malls or tourist attraction, there's just no advantage. You may think you get VIP or warm greeting service, but honestly... only if you're lucky AND SEEN and if it's like from 12pm to 3pm? Cause i think that's when their staffs are alert. Next on, check-in is normal, nothing special, remember to pay a deposit. Next on, going to your room, someone will help you with your luggage to your room, which is great, because the floor is so carpeted it is hard to drag the luggage if it's really huge and heavy. Next on, the room... I have so much to comment. First of all, furniture looks old. Toilet is great (+1 point) because it is indeed the biggest and most spacious one i have seen. The cleaning folks does a good job cleaning the toilet BUT! i just cannot understand why can't they just change the smelly damped pillows???????? it's already there when we first checked in. It smells horrible, like your teenage cousin's wet sock after soccer practise in a shoe that never dried after washing. Gross! The really funny part is, you would imagined for such a huge room, the TV would be reasonably sized considering the distance from the bed. HAHAHHAHA, it's so small. I finally understand what it means by 'when someone is speechless, they really would laugh'. 人在无语的时候真的会笑. Like, you are a 5 star luxurious hotel but you can't give a bigger TV that has more modern functions???? Am i still living in the 2000s? Ok fine, maybe they have no budgets for upgrade, fine... It's not like we travel halfway across the globe to watch TV in bed. Next, TAKEAWAYS. Like this really made me so angry, they literally take no responsibility in helping you bring up the food. I mean I don't mind going down to take it myself but let me know i have to! They literally left my stuff there 30 mins until i called them. And the ridiculous part was the delivery guy actually took a photo to show me how he had already passed it to a staff and informed them to deliver it up! Next, their restaurant. Paid for a course meal, and instead of the dishes being served up one after another, they served everything up at one go... wow, ok fine no big deal. BUT dessert took 30 mins and not served. Do you know what is a coursed meal? Do you need to retrain your staffs? Do you think we could have finished the dishes so quickly? Aren't we supposed to savour the dishes and take our time because your head chef took time to design the menu and wine pairings? Like your service really defeats all purpose of us opting to have dinner there. So the irony is we were rushed through our food; we literally felt like we had to speed up because what if the dishes went cold. Then they took forever to serve dessert and we already told them we need had a movie coming up and we were running late. BAD SERVICE. Overall, my review for this hotel is that, you're lucky you HAD GOOD REPUTATION & BRANDING in the past, but you are FRAILING. You do not deserve 5 star in almost all areas non-related to location. Yes, you may be considered luxurious because you're at the most prime area of Shenyang but so what? Your service and facilities are at most mid-range 4 star. Even 4 star hotels now have robots that would deliver takeaways and TV bigger than yours, and their pillows are clean, what an absolute joke. OK, maybe let's not get so negative, last redeeming factor: you do have a nice view of the city. For service, you may want to learn from your peers like Sofitel, Atour or Serendipidia. You're welcome."

"Durante le vacanze della Giornata Nazionale, il personale dello Shenyang Shangri-La era molto entusiasta e il servizio, Yan Yan, era molto premuroso. Il giovane addetto alla portineria ha preso l'iniziativa per aiutare con i bagagli. La palestra e la piscina erano molto buone , l'acqua era pulita, le attrezzature e le strutture erano ben mantenute e di fronte c'era un centro commerciale. Era molto comodo e una buona esperienza di check-in! ! ! ! Giusto in tempo per il mio compleanno, ho anche preparato una sorpresa di compleanno speciale, che è molto buona, è un hotel a cinque stelle Shenyang Shangri-La, l'ho scelto bene."

"Great experience staying with Grand Hyatt Shenyang! Good, service and facilities all went beyond my expectations! The park next to it was a nice surprise too and we enjoyed the skating on the frozen lake!"

"Wow! Very impressive! Our family stayed here with our friends from back home for one night. Thoroughly enjoyed it! Everything was top notch. From the decor down to the last details of cleanliness live up to the 5 star standards! The service was friendly and efficient. Most staff can speak some English to help us. Nice big windows with a great city view. The breakfast was probably one of the best in all the 5 star hotels I have tried in Asia! They had an awesome real expresso coffee machine and REAL Canadian bacon plus a very good variety of pastries and hot food! More than enough to get you through the morning and afternoon! Went to the pool on 5th floor and it had a panoramic view of the city and water was very clean. So yes! Well worth the money! Only regret was that we wish we had booked one more night of stay! Keep it up! We will be back!"

"Il mio volo è stato cancellato. Così ho deciso di prolungare il mio soggiorno di due giorni e sono finita in questo hotel. Il vantaggio principale è il collegamento diretto con il centro commerciale K11! È il posto perfetto per portare i bambini! Inoltre, c'è una spa proprio accanto all'hotel! Davvero un'ottima idea! Il piano B1 ha accesso diretto alla metropolitana e a diversi ristoranti! Anche le camere sono molto belle. La cosa più importante è che hanno finestre apribili e un umidificatore! Hanno persino un robot che porta il cibo in camera; una sera ho ordinato degli snack a tarda notte e, forse preoccupata di dover aspettare troppo, la reception me li ha portati direttamente in camera!"

"What I liked: • The location is excellent. It’s just across the road from the metro and very centrally located in Shenyang. • The staff were helpful, especially Eric, the Concierge Manager, who was very friendly and introduced some of the key attractions on my check-in day. • The breakfast had a good mix of international options. The ZOPF bread was my favourite. • The gym was neat and tidy, and all the equipment was functioning well. • There’s also a night market just across the street, which was very convenient. What I didn’t like: • I had some difficulty figuring out how to use the bathtub sprinkler. • The room view wasn’t great, as it faced the backyard. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a great location and friendly service."

"Beautiful room with nice hot bath tub and a marble room rain shower. Nice chair desk combo for a bit of computer work and huge tv with some channel variety. Buffet dinner and breakfast were great and really good value, sashimi was a real bonus. Location was good enough with metro nearby."
