We checked in at this hotel on the evening of December 21, 2025. Immediately after we got into the assigned room, we smelled a very strong odor of chemical spray. My wife couldn’t bear this and started to have allergic reaction. Immediately we notified the front desk. They offered to switch to another room. Nevertheless , when we got to the other room, it had the same chemical odor. Therefore we decided to leave this hotel and found another hotel to stay for that night. We had requested a refund and the front desk at the Comin Place said that they would contact Trip.com to refund us the fee. However, till now we haven’t received the refund from Trip.com.

Overall, not bad. But just a word of caution that the eletric bidet toilet was very dirty. Make sure you clean it before use. It has all the human stool stuck on the nozzle. Hope the hotel can have cleaned it. The shower floor needs to be cleaned too, lots of water stains.

My stay was positive overall, offering good value for money.
The staff provided excellent service and the room was clean and comfortable.
Note for male guests: the shared bathroom facilities are located on the 7th and 8th floors.
The location is decent, although the walk to Taichung Railway Station MRT is a little far.
Would recommend for budget-conscious travelers.

YYH_AllenI did not expect this accommodation to be a motel based on its Chinese name, so it was a bit of a surprise when I checked in.
The location is very convenient, which is a big plus. However, the overall environment had a slight smell of cigarette smoke. The room itself was spacious, but for guests arriving on foot, the access route is not very intuitive—you need to go down to the basement first and then enter through the parking garage, which makes the circulation feel somewhat inconvenient.

FFlow.dotcomHo avuto un ottimo soggiorno all'Hotel Millennium Taichung! Questa è davvero un'esperienza 5-star dal momento in cui sono arrivato. Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole, attento e professionale. Appena il mio taxi si alzò, il campanello venne subito e mi aiutava con il bagaglio, anche se lo mandava direttamente nella mia stanza senza dover affrontare nulla.
La stanza era molto spaziosa e confortevole, perfetta per rilassarsi dopo un giorno di giornata. Mi piacevano soprattutto i piccoli tocchi, come la macchina del caffè Nespresso per una bella tazza di caffè. La sorpresa più grande è stata la complimentare mini barci erano quattro bottiglie di bevande molli fornite gratuitamente, che era un bel bonus!
Il bagno era anche impressionantemente grande, pulito e ben progettato, aggiungendo al sentimento di lusso generale del soggiorno.
In generale, consiglio fortemente l'Hotel Millennium Taichung se stai cercando comfort, comodità e eccellente servizio. Sarei sicuramente rimasto qui ancora! 😊

TTungBest resort in Taiwan and worth every penny. Highest level of service - it’s like being at a modern luxury ryokan in Japan except everyone speaks Chinese. Room design is brilliant, and one king room fit my family of 2 adults and 2 toddlers with a California king and a separate tatami area. The room has an epic view from every angle the moment you walk in the door and includes a private outdoor onsen connected to your bathroom. I noticed many private in-room onsens in Japan are diluted down, but this was spring fed. The public onsen was huge, extremely well maintained, and included a large walled zen garden with an adjacent sauna and cold plunge. I was lucky enough to experience this area all to myself with one other guest leaving as I arrived and another guest arriving as I was leaving. In China, this onsen would have comfortably accommodated 100 bathers. The spring water is not high in sulfuric content (doesn’t smell like rotten eggs), and the temperature is relatively mild - ideal for my family. Given the limited availability of the hotel online, I was expecting it to be more crowded. I got the sense that room rates are controlled to optimize guest experience, not profit, while staff are trained to ensure that customers never feel like they are being ripped off or “sold”. It seemed there were more staff than guests on site. I originally booked 2 rooms, and some of my family members couldn’t make the trip. We didn’t need the second room, and the staff were very gracious to refund and cancel the second room on the spot. When I’m back in Taiwan or traveling to a place where Hoshinoya does business, I would not hesitate to book again and make a special journey to stay at one of their destination resorts.

It was all within walking distance to 2nd market, Miyahara and night market. Will definitely stay again in Taichung if we ever return.

Non era così lontano dalla stazione HSR. Non ricordo la distanza esattamente e l’ora di viaggio. Ma se lo trovo lontano, di solito ricorderò e lo dirò.
Servizio - era un facile check-in e check-out. Anche se quasi dimenticavo di ricevere una ricetta. Ho dovuto chiedere una proattiva. Fortunatamente abbiamo deciso di rimanere un po' dopo aver controllato, ci siamo ricordati e abbiamo dovuto chiederla.
Mi piace come hanno chiesto di accedere al check-in se abbiamo bisogno di un servizio di pulizia della stanza.

Amo la stanza più! Eravamo felici di quanto fosse spaziosa. E ha una scatola AI che ci piacevamo. Il bagno ha una TV, la zona doccia era spaziosa, l'atmosfera della stanza, le strade e lobby. I snacks liberi. La marca del corpo, lavatrice e condizionatore, la macchina Nescafe gratuita nel lobby.
Lo avrei certamente raccomandato e rimarrei qui.

Anche se la mia stanza non è spaziosa, è pulito e confortevole rimanere. Il bagno viene portato fuori ogni giorno. È disponibile un distributore d'acqua vicino all'ascensore che gli ospiti possono usare. Il personale dell'hotel è anche molto bello.

Rreg333excellent service by all staff; all smiley and ready to help. the free meals were such a bonus and god sent as some days we got too busy with our itinerary and didn’t have time to eat so we would go back to hotel for supper. although the menu was the same everyday, we didn’t mind as the quality was quite decent and there were varieties. the water pressure was the best! bed was comfortable, aircon was cold, smart tv, quick resolution service by technicians when we couldn’t connect to the room wifi. overall would recommend! there’s also a massage service with discount for room guests; quite mediocre but for the price ok la.

Le strutture di ginnastica sono in fase di rinnovamento ma non hanno informato l'ospite prima del check-in.
Il Trip.com ha dichiarato aperto il 2023, che è molto fuorviante che l'hotel è stato ristrutturato o costruito di nuovo. Ma le camere sono vecchie ma fortunatamente non sono in esercizio e le camere sono pulite.
