Hotel vicino a Tempio Paochueh, Taichung

Stayed two nights in the budget double room and wished it was longer. Design of the room is very nice, being out most of the day, not having a window wasn’t noticeable. Room and bathroom very clean. Bed is very comfortable. Towel, shower gel, shampoo, hair dryer, tv, kettle, tea, coffee, fridge and water refill all available. Great location. 10 minute walk from food places, night market, shops etc. 20 minute walk to the bus stop for sun moon lake. 25 minute walk to Taichung train station, but lots of local bus options nearby. Staff very friendly both in person and on Trip prior to arrival. Luggage storage also available.

Super vicino alla stazione ferroviaria ma deve sapere come camminare. Non seguire la mappa di Google come vi porterà la lunga rotta. Assessible al mercato notturno, lalaport mall, il mercato di fine settimana di flea alla stazione ferroviaria. Il quartiere ha molte straniere. La colazione è buona, ma un po'olio e sale.

Overall the hotel was clean and organized. We had a very hard time locating the entrance of the hotel and wasted 20 minutes trying to find it. Aside from those concerns the hotel was very modern and looks newly renovated. It was a bit expensive since it had the weekend hike due to the flocking of customers but the place was worth it especially for travelers that just needs a place to crash in for the night.

What more can I say? This is our fourth or fifth stay at this hotel. We usually stay for one to two weeks, and it has become our go-to place. We’ve tried other hotels, but as they say, “comparison is easy once you’ve had a taste of perfection.” This hotel is simply perfect for us. The staff are incredibly kind and accommodating and truly embody the meaning of hospitality. The location is excellent—peaceful and not crowded—yet very close to coffee shops like Starbucks and our new favorite, Donutes. Overall, this is an easy 11/10. Highly recommended! Internet did not work in room-staff said because it was too busy but it did work in the lobby. Room paint badly peeling behind curtain on wall under window from window condensation, smelt a little of damp. Staff very helpful and friendly; bedding clean, bathroom clean.  Overall OK, but overpriced, poor value for money. 

Box Design Hostel turned out to be a really good choice for my stay in Taichung. The location is great — close to everything, well connected, and easy to find food or transport around. The hostel is super clean. I was really impressed by how tidy the rooms and bathrooms were. Hair dryers, shampoo, and body wash were provided, which was nice and convenient. I also loved that they had free coffee, tea, and bottled water available anytime — very useful for travellers on the go! There are just a couple of downsides. The beds are quite slim, so if you prefer a spacious sleeping area, you might feel a bit cramped. Also, there are no towels provided, so bring your own if you plan to stay here. Other than that, it’s a solid hostel with a friendly vibe and great value. Would recommend for budget travellers who want comfort and cleanliness.

La posizione è buona, la stanza è pulita e il servizio è buono, l'unica cosa è sul parcheggio. Non c'è un parcheggio adeguato nelle vicinanze. Le persone che vi guidano devono riflettere.

Stayed in the hotel for 3 nights, location is within 5mins walking distance to Family Mart, different eateries and bus-stops. It is also within 15mins walking distance to Yizhong Street. The only possible negative I can think about is that you will have to shower in the bath tub (there's no separate showering area outside of the tub), which may not be suitable for elderlies. Other than that, we really loved the relaxing ambience of the hotel. Would recommend.

Excellent stay in Zhong Ke hotel. Room is clean, spacious with comfortable bed and pillow. I had my parcel delivered much earlier than expected. Luckily the hotel receptionist help me to keep until my arrival. Really appreciate that!
