From the moment we arrived at Roku Kyoto, we felt completely taken care of. From the warm greetings we received as we got out of the taxi to the genuine smiles and hospitality given to us at Reception. There is a pride that exudes from everyone at Roku Kyoto, and for good reason. It is an absolutely extraordinary hotel. But it's not just the beautiful accommodations and the incredibly thoughtful design throughout the property. Nor is it just the sumptuous food stunningly presented at every meal. It is the people who work there and represent the true heart and soul of what the Roku Kyoto experience is all about. My wife and I have traveled all around the globe and we have rarely encountered such a level of excellence. The architectural design, the interior design, the facilities and the grounds are all stunning. In fact, the photos from their website do not do it justice. The room we had on the 4th floor was gorgeous and the bed was perhaps the most comfortable bed we have ever encountered (and we travel often!). The tranquility, the views, the attention to detail throughout the hotel are are not just glorious but absolutely inspiring. The gorgeous pool is filled with water from the natural hot springs that abound in that area of Kyoto. It is a sumptuous experience to swim in that very special pool. We only had breakfast at the hotel, but it was the best we encountered in Japan. The food was beautifully prepared , the choices were extensive and stunningly displayed and the service was impeccable. In fact, service is another thing that sets this extraordinary hotel apart. It's not just well done, there is a pride and a joy that emanates from every member of the staff, no matter what their position. It's what gives this place true heart and soul and it's what elevates the experience. We will never forget our stay at Roku Kyoto and cannot wait to return! We would like to especially thank Kayo Naskagawa. Her attention to detail, her inherent ability to go the extra mile for a guest. Her sweetness and ease. Her ability to listen and use that information to heighten the Roku experience for a guest. Kayo, for us, represents everything we love about Roku Kyoto and why we cannot wait to return.

We spent 2 nights in mid-December. Summary: Room was nice/OK but the front desk staff was unhelpful and with minimal English or Japanese language skills. Despite all of the pictures of food/restaurant on the website - there is no longer a restaurant and that area is now storage, just past the check-in desk. They really should update the site to reflect the amenities and options they provide. The room was nice and we enjoyed the outdoor tub during our 2 night stay. Given the nightly price of this hotel, the front desk staff was completely useless! Perhaps the property is under new ownership because when we were there, it appeared to be staffed by a Nepali family/group and the gentleman at the front desk had very limited English skills and was unable or unwilling to help us with the most basic questions. Breakfast options are limited and it was like pulling teeth to find out those options from the front desk. There is no longer a restaurant on-site so any food they provide is from an offsite restaurant. The front desk staff have to take your order in their very limited language skills and then place the oder for the next day. Good luck finding out the options or changing your mind. We tried to change breakfast for our 2nd morning at 11:30 AM, the day before and we were told it was already too late.

Ma se è il prezzo di circa 1000 alloggi nel fine settimana, fai attenzione...Il tempo di partenza è alle dieci, e la camera da letto è la soluzione più risparmiata (un drago è stato salvato da un drago rispetto ad altri hotel economici normali), forse per questo motivo l'acqua fredda e calda rilasciata sono molto affaticate Beh, se vuoi lavarti i denti, ti consiglio di prendere l'acqua di miniera (un paio di passi verso la destra sono 7-11, molto conveniente).

Questo posto è a pochi isolati dalla stazione Nijo JR e un taxi Y2000+ dalla stazione di Kyoto. Anche una stazione metropolitana è vicina. Non sono stato in Giappone come turista, ma non credo che la sua posizione sia tutto così conveniente per attrazioni turistiche. Inoltre non è un quartiere di ristorante, ma ci sono alcuni posti decenti, soprattutto nelle vicinanze della stazione Nijo. Quando sono arrivato, ero in ritardo e mi preoccupavo che la mia prenotazione potesse essere cancellata come un non-show. Ho chiamato l'hotel e sono stati più utili, mi rassicurando che potevo controllare 24/7. Come era, ho controllato dopo mezzanotte, e non c'erano problemi. La mia stanza era piccola ma ben attrezzata. Il letto matrimoniale era abbastanza comodo per il mio 4 noccheggio. Non c'era molta vista – e guardava la porta accanto all'edificio. Come molti hotel commerciali più recenti in Giappone, non c'era un bagno, solo una doccia pioggia. Ci erano colazione e buffet per pranzo, ma non ho provato nemmeno. Una colazione Y400 o Y450 è stata disponibile in diversi negozi di caffè vicino alla stazione Nijo, e per pranzo ho visitato ristoranti locali con la famiglia. I familiari che avevano provato il buffet di pranzo prima hanno detto che erano stati soffocati dal suo valore per soldi. 　ホテルの第一印象は清潔さと落ち着きでした。フロントや客室、廊下などの装飾は控え目で、気配りが感じられる上品な雰囲気があります。2間仕様のデラックスツインがお勧めです。寝室とリビング？がドアで仕切られ、ドアを閉めるとTVなどの音が寝室にあまり聞こえません。疲れた人が先にベッドで横になれます。観光に便利です。広沢池とJR嵯峨嵐山駅まで徒歩15〜20分。ホテルに車を駐めて、清涼寺と化野念仏寺、祇王寺、二尊院を徒歩で観光しました。嵯峨嵐山近辺は車は渋滞で動けません。駐車場も満車です。ホテルにレンタサイクルがあります。スタッフの対応も親切です。

Le camere sono spaziose, considerando la normale dimensione della camera in Giappone! Mi piace personalmente la camera bagnata secca e bagnata separata. Amichevole e utile ricevitore ogni volta che ho bisogno di aiuto! Suggerimenti: si può chiedere al destinatario di un servizio di trasferimento di bagagli (vi daranno una carta, è necessario solo scansionare il codice di barre e seguire le istruzioni per la prenotazione), l'ho usato per il mio trasferimento di bagagli a Osaka (Attualmente c'è una promozione dove si può utilizzare il codice promo per il trasferimento gratuito di servizio di bagaglio, per fino al primo 100 indennità al giorno). In generale, consiglio fortemente questo hotel per il vostro soggiorno a Kyoto!

We had mixed reviews of this accomodation Pros - was a very large room two small doubles and a bunk perfect for families. Amenities are great with wifi, lots of kitchen utensils, stove, tea and coffee supplied, toothbrushes available, washing machine and tablets are provided with an inbuilt dryer system in the bathroom. Bathroom and shower area was also spacious. Beds are on the okay side but could be softer. The area itself is nice and quiet with a bus stop right out from we utilised every day, supermarket and Lawsons are across the road and you feel very safe. Would recommend for families. Cons - check in is in a different location 20minute taxi away so we had to catch a train to the check in office when arriving in Kyoto from Osaka, then a taxi to the accomodation after this which chewed up a few hours as we had to wait 45min in addition to check in due to busyness of the office. The area is a bit out of the way of everything next time I might consider staying at a different resi stay location closer to sights and facilities like shops etc. All the restaurants in the area seem to not open for breakfast until 11am so we had to have McDonald’s if we didn’t want to cook or travel too far for breakfast as we have a toddler (early riser). Same occurred at dinner time a lot of restaurants didn’t seem to be open the Monday or Tuesday we were there or opened too late for us (we travelled with a four year old). Our last disappointment was resi stay apparently have a strict not noise at night policy however another room partied until about 3am but there is no front desk or after hours phone number to call to complain / get the noise to stop. Was very frustrating as walls were very thin so we didn’t sleep very well. Overall we would stay with Resi Stay again but at another location due to Nishijin being a bit too out of the way for us.

E'una cosa fantastica.La posizione è molto buona.Se prendi un autobus, ti affronterai la strada principale, l'angolo sinistro della stazione di autobus.２０ secondi.Cammino da Encho, ma ci vorranno circa ２０ minuti. Se vedi Shimamura e McDo sulla destra, è l'altra parte. Il bagno è ３, quindi puoi stare tranquillo.Per l'hotel, è ”svitazione”.La camera da letto, il soggiorno, il bagno, il bagno e il bagno possono essere utilizzati da soli.Un bagno è molto adatto per liberarsi della fatica. Stai nel 403 e 401, 2 settimane ciascuno La casa ospite nel nord, molti autobus in città circa 25 minuti. È in un vero quartiere con persone reali viventi vecchi e giovani, sono andato a Kinkakuji e Daitokuji da casa ospite facilmente. Grandi ristoranti in strada locale, coreano, indiano, giapponese, rame, supermercato, 100 en magazzino L'appartamento ha tutto, lavatrice, asciugatrice in bagno, cucina. 403 deluxe più grande e più tranquillo al retro della casa degli ospiti.
