Hotel in zona Samui Pier Beach front Resort, Koh Samui

Great Boutique hotel in Chaweng. Excellent value. The room were sparking clean and has everything one needs including beach towels and umbrellas. There is a pool but not gym which is fine. It is centrally located. The breakfast is OK but sufficient. Had a quick dinner meal one night since it was raining and had a long day and did not want to venture out to the many restaurants in the area. There was no one else so we did not have high expectations but the meals were excellent and my friend raved about the drink he got. The entire staff were excellent and so kind. Front desk were efficient and warm. The concierge had GREAT recommendations on tours. We took all the ones she recommended and were not disappointed. This part of Chaweng beach is OK. Not a swimmers beach, more of a just a dip in the ocean place. I was not able to take advantage of the Kayak but did that anyway on one of the tours we took. I love Samui and will definitely return and if staying in Chaweng will definitely want to be at The Stay again.

Senza la piscina questo hotel non sarebbe la sistemazione ideale, almeno per me. Nessun articoli da toeletta e servizi di base, ad es. cuffie da doccia, bicchieri, asciugacapelli, ecc. Il pavimento della stanza ti farebbe sentire come se avessi bisogno di indossare sempre le pantofole. I miei asciugamani avevano macchie che avrebbero potuto essere pulite. Il personale non era affatto interattivo. Ho chiesto a qualcuno, una cameriera, una cuffia per la doccia, invece di dire ”Non forniamo cuffie per la doccia qui”, lei ha semplicemente scosso la testa. Quando sono passato davanti a loro mentre pulivano le stanze, nessun saluto. Anche l'accoglienza, poco disponibile. Nessun ”sawaddee” quando siamo entrati nella reception. La posizione è un punto di forza di COSI, però: è proprio accanto al Central Department Store, che si trova nel cuore di Koh Samui. Nonostante la zona residenziale e turistica, era così tranquilla. Anche la piscina è un'ottima struttura. Resta qui solo se hai bisogno di una stanza per una notte o giù di lì, immagino. Non è una vacanza ideale. Probabilmente non sarebbe sulla lista degli hotel ricorrenti

La camera era molto confortevole e grande, ma la nostra tipologia di camera non aveva vista sul mare. Il servizio e le strutture in generale erano molto buoni, ma sono rimasto un po' sorpreso dal fatto che la pulizia cambiasse solo le lenzuola, la spazzatura sul tavolo era non rimosso e le bucce dell'anguria erano ancora lì 😂 Le cose nel lavandino non sono disposte in modo ordinato Dopo tutto, sono rimasto al Four Seasons. Mettono un panno sotto e ti aiutano a metterli uno per uno l'hotel è preoccupato per i reclami dei clienti e per il disordine delle cose dei clienti, ma potrebbe davvero essere migliorato, perché la ragazza straniera seduta nel secchio con me ha preso l'iniziativa di chiedermi come era stata riordinata la stanza. Ha detto che la loro stanza non era stata riordinata Tutto. L'ambiente è molto confortevole e la piscina è bellissima.

For a backpacker, it truly doesn’t get better than this. I stayed in a private double room and it was fantastic, clean, modern, with all the amenities you could want (plug sockets by the bed, hangers, hair dryer, balcony and drying rack). The pool area was a lovely place to sit and I regularly got up for breakfast before 8am. I’d typically be the only one awake at this time. For a sunbed, you’d better be at the pool by 10am for a good spot as it does get busy. However, there were some downsides. I booked 6 nights and although I loved it, the construction noise from the plot of land next door was unbearable. 8am to 8pm, drilling, banging, hammering, shouting. You could hear it from the pool too, so not exactly the “relaxing” stay I could’ve got by staying in a resort 2 doors down. I was also disappointed that the beach terrace was closed for the duration of my stay. They said maintenance was working to fix it but I never saw anyone working. I was really hoping to sit on those hammocks over the ocean. The WiFi also cut out every day and I needed to get a new passcode 4 times throughout my stay. Not great for remote workers. Although; staff were friendly, food delicious, and great nightlife vibes in the heart of Chaweng Beach. Definitely would stay again… but not until that construction is complete.

Hotel fantastico, per 3 stelle, secondo me, il miglior rapporto qualità-prezzo. Abbiamo soggiornato per 9 notti in famiglia e abbiamo preso 2 camere, ci sono state assegnate due camere adiacenti con una porta interna tra le camere, molto comoda. La colazione è varia, ci sono piatti tailandesi e la solita selezione di piatti europei, abbastanza normale per i bambini. L'acqua potabile è inclusa, 2 bottiglie al giorno per camera, i teli mare sono gratuiti, la spiaggia è raggiungibile con una piacevole passeggiata di 10 minuti. È possibile noleggiare una bicicletta e un'auto presso l'hotel; i prezzi del noleggio non sono gonfiati. L'hotel dispone di un parco giochi per bambini, 2 piscine e una palestra. L'hotel ha il WiFi gratuito, ma non dovresti contarci: la velocità è bassa, è più facile acquistare una carta SIM locale.

Ero stato un'altra volta a Koh Samui a Lamai beach, ma devo dire che Chaweng, pur considerata la rimini di Koh samui, è stata una vera sorpresa. Come lo è stato il resort, in positivo. Siamo in bassa stagione, e quindi ho potuto, allo stesso prezzo, scegliere tra le camere nella parte centrale, ampie e luminose con vista mare (un po in lontananza), ed i bungalow vista giadino, veramente vicini sia alla piscina che alla spiaggia. Ho scelto il Bungalow vista giardino, un pochino più piccolo ma essendo solo l'ho preferito. Forse il bungalow è meno luminoso anche per il fatto di avere il pavimento in piastrelle scure (questo è l'unico neo che ho trovato, ma credo sia superabile). Per il resto: 1) piscina e spiaggia: staff presente e disponibile. Appena arrivi in spiaggia arriva subito il ragazzo che chiede dove vorresti metterti e quindi ti porta sdraio e ombrellone. Ci son tre piscine per varie necessità dalla meno alla più profonda. la spiaggia privata ha un mare veramente bello, paragonabile a quello di Koh Lipe, peccato non ci sian pesci da ammirare durante lo snorkeling. 2) colazione: decisamente di buon livello, abbondante con corner uova fatte al momneto. Offre dal dolce varie possibilità (brioches, muffin, pinaapple cake, ecc), al salato con piatti caldi e insalate varie, oltre a caffe, te, e succhi vari. Decisamente il tutto apprezzato. 3) Pulizia camere: giornaliera, con cambio asciugamani (bagno e teli mare). Direi molto sufficiente 4) ristorante: di buon livello, ad un prezzo simile a quelli dell'isola, quindi se non volete o avete voglia di andare in centro, il ristorante del resort fa per voi (da notare che i prezzi son comprensivi già di tutto, tasse e servizio). 5) Personale: molto disponibile e presente dalla reception alla spiaggia. Conclusione: una bella vacanza, dovuta al fatto che il tempo è stato sempre bello, e non era scontato, e dal soggiorno in questo resort. Credo proprio ci ritornerò

Più che una luna di miele è stato un incantesimo durato una settimana. Le camere nuovissime e di uno stile ricercato ed elegante, bagno immenso con una porta scorrevole che comunica direttamente con la stanza da letto; balconcino con vista meravigliosa sulla spiaggia e visita degli scoiattoli ogni mattina all'alba😍al nostro arrivo abbiamo trovato sul letto una composizione floreale con la scritta ”Happy honeymoon” e una bottiglia di bollicine con calici per brindare e in più un dolce buonissimo. Inoltre, armadio fornitissimo: addirittura un asse e un ferro da stiro, cassaforte, frigo vuoto, è vero, ma thè e caffè con bollitore, bottiglie d'acqua sia in camera che in bagno e a fine soggiorno non ci sono stati addebitati. Pulizia stanza giornaliera ineccepibile. Colazione alle 6:30, eccezionale... Ricca di ogni cosa desideriate... Dolce, salato, ciambelle, dolcetti vari, specialità thay, colazione americana, fornetto per abbrustolire il pane, frutta a iosa... E il ristorante esterno dà sulla spiaggia, abbiamo mangiato spesso lì, da insalate particolari a pietanze thay, hamburger e altro. Inoltre una sera abbiamo fatto una cena romantica direttamente sotto un gazebo allestito per noi in riva al mare, un maggiordomo a nostra disposizione durante tutta la cena... Il cibo ottimo e le pietanze abbondanti e rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente. E poi i sorrisi, la gentilezza, la disponibilità... Il personale ti segue a vista e talvolta sembrano magici perché intuiscono prima ancora che tu chieda aiuto, non invadenti intervengono con dolcezza e premura. Forse mi sono dilungata ma credetemi avevo bisogno di ringraziare ancora una volta per ciò che abbiamo vissuto... Un ricordo indelebile, oltre che tutto il bello della struttura, è proprio la gentilezza di questo popolo così dignitoso e così delicato nei modi... Siete delle persone gigantesche, grazie grazie e ancora grazie ❤️

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

Una vera gioiello, messo lontano sulla bella spiaggia di Maenam e perfetto solo se si desidera essere abbastanza vicini alle aree principali ma rimanere in un ambiente tranquillo. Le camere sono molto grandi e le letti sono comodi. Il personale è davvero amichevole e informativo. La piscina infinita è praticamente sulla spiaggia con un abbondante soggiorno solare sia alla piscina che sulla spiaggia. La spiaggia è magnifica con un fantastico bar spiaggia vicino alla porta, ma molto poco altro. L'ora felice si verifica due volte al giorno al bar di nuoto. Il colazione è abbondante e ci sono stati ben serviti come vegani. Abbiamo mangiato solo all'hotel la nostra prima notte e non era niente di speciale, ma il bar vicino alla porta della spiaggia fa un'ottima cena! Ci sono pochi bar e ristoranti locali vicino, ma non troppo e tutto molto buono. Puoi avere un bel massaggio sulla spiaggia, anche se leggermente più costoso della città. Valete la pena ascoltare le onde, perfetto.

My recent three-night stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was an enchanting journey, filled with an exceptional level of service that beautifully compensated for the hotel's aging facilities. From the outset, the resort's fusion of Asian and Thai architectural elegance warmly welcomed us, accentuated by the delicate blend of styles and the presence of wood-clad interior columns, real wood floors and furniture. This seamless integration of tradition and geographical context, with brick and tropical roof tiles, created a captivating atmosphere. The lush foliage and well-grown trees embraced the surroundings, creating a vivid backdrop that captured the essence of the beachfront location. While time had etched its marks on the facility, the fusion of architectural styles and natural elements into the design remained a captivating feature. Our overall experience was outstanding, even as we encountered a few unforeseen challenges. On our second night, our beachfront BBQ plans were thwarted by the weather. The staff's quick thinking and adaptability came to the forefront as they seamlessly transitioned the venue to an indoor space. The speed and willingness with which the entire BBQ setup was moved indoors showcased the dedication to providing the best service possible. Moreover, on our third night, the pool bar staff went above and beyond by suggesting a private beachfront dinner to make up for the previous night's interruption. Though this well-intentioned plan was again impacted by the weather, their commitment to ensuring our satisfaction remained unwavering. What truly set this experience apart was the unwavering dedication of the staff. Their warmth and attentiveness overshadowed any inconveniences we faced. The restaurant and bar team, led by K. Woody, Honey, and Ken, consistently exceeded our expectations. Their personalized service made us feel genuinely valued as guests. The culinary journey, particularly the breakfast led by Executive Chef Chef Seng, was a delight. Despite the aging signs of the facilities, the culinary offerings maintained an impeccable standard. The coconut water coffee, and Samui Egg Benedict were exceptional, showcasing Chef Seng's expertise in curating a blend of local and international flavors. In summary, my stay at the Renaissance Koh Samui was a testament to the power of exceptional service to transcend the limitations of aging facilities. The resort's captivating fusion of architectural styles, the embracing of its environment, and the staff's dedication created a memorable retreat. The team's responsiveness, especially during weather-related interruptions, demonstrated their commitment to guest satisfaction. As I reflect on my stay, it is clear that the warmth of hospitality and the genuine care extended by the team are what truly define the Renaissance Koh Samui.
