Hotel con piscina a Koh Samui

Soggiorno per 6 notti con colazione. Ottima la posizione della struttura sulla baia di Chaweng, con ampia piscina affacciata sul mare. Buona la camera standard e la pulizia. Colazione internazionale, con pochi elementi dolci, servita presso il ristorante fronte mare, la cui vista vale il soggiorno. Personale sempre cortese e disponibile. Usufruito del servizio massaggi, tour organizzato e transfert per aeroporto

I read many reviews about this resort and studied the Mantra Samui website, but never learned until after I booked (4 nights stay) my room that they had cancelled , during Covid, the regular shuttle that took guests down the hill to Fisherman Villa. I learned this because I called the hotel before my trip to ask some questions and also ask how to reserve a place on their shuttle. The resort does have one auto/driver that will drive you down to the bottom of the hill if it is there, and if it is not picking up someone at the airport. The shuttle delivers you directly to the bottom of the hill, is pretty much is just a local road. Then you can wave down a taxi and negotiate the price. Some fun! The Mantra Sumai should update their website to say the regular shuttle has been cancelled, and replaced by their maybe available one car. Continuing my story... We booked a massage at another hotel that is about 20 minutes away, and gave ourselves one hour to get there. So the night before we reserved to get the ride down to the bottom of the hill for the next day afternoon. When we went to reception, we were informed there was an accident, which was a flat tire, and the tire 'might' be fixed in half an hour and then another 20 minutes to get back to the Mantra. They apparently felt no responsibility to contact us. Just wait for the guests to show up and then tell them. They felt no responsibility to call the driver for any update. They then offered to call a taxi, but that would take about 20 minutes to arrive. Also when you call a taxi there is no opportunity for negotiation. My hour was dwindling. Well 20 is better than maybe 30 + 20 minutes. So they called the taxi. Luckily the Mantra driver showed up after 15 minutes, and the taxi was cancelled. My conclusion, after all the interfaces with reception, is they have a poor sense of responsibility and lacking the ability for logical thinking to provide a good guest experience. There are other examples beyond the above. Our suite room was in good condition, and everything functioning. Well, except the phone did not work, but I did not need that. The suite has a king size bed and a separate built in bed in the back of the living room. OK, so 4 people can stay. But the flaw in the suites is there is only a 2 person love seat to sit on. There is no chair, and no desk. It is no fun to use your laptop when the coffee table level is below your knees. A simple 4 leg table for a desk, and a simple chair would be nice, and not cost very much. They do have an on-site co-work room somewhere, but I did not use it. I think it is an extra cost and I did not have that much work to do anyway. The highlight of the Mantra Samui was the included breakfast. There are many cooked to order choices plus a buffet of juices, fruits, cereals, yogurt, pastries, and several breads you can toast yourself. Il posto è un po’ fuori mano dal centro città a piedi,ma ottimo per chi vuole andare in spiaggia (la struttura fornisce scooter per chi vuole muoversi liberamente e sarebbe la scelta migliore perché non tutti i taxy sono interessati a venire lì a prendere qualcuno)la mia mini suite con piscina era davvero fenomenale,se dovessi tornare a koh samui sicuramente ci ritornerei,(naturalmente dopo aver preso la patente internazionale per usare lo scooter in Thailandia 😜)la colazione per la gran parte delle volte era preparata a buffet!!Comunque se andate a koh samui con la ragazza,prendere in questo hotel la villa con la piscina privata e non ve ne pentirete

Away from the hustle of central Chaweng, so is a good spot to be based for quiet times and used as a base to explore the island. Beachfront pool villas are nice, large and great views of the ocean. Private pool is a bonus and well worth the upgrade. Hotel was busy when I stayed and everyone seemed to be happy and enjoying themselves. The pool isn’t the largest but plentiful for the amount of rooms. Don’t forget, there are the villas with private pools, so a fair number of guests will be in their own area. Access to the beach is not directly in front of the hotel, but that’s a good thing otherwise I would be hearing everyone in front of my villa each day. Access is the side of the resort just past the restaurant. Along this stretch of beach has a few other hotel bars and restaurants to eat and drink in and if you head to the furtherest headland point, and head inland, you will come across a handful of bars and restaurants. As many people have said, the hotel is next to a road - but like most hotels in Samui, it’s just the design of the island. You can avoid the main road for your walk to the local area by going along the stretch of beach. And when you are on the island, why wouldn’t you want to walk along the beach?! So don’t listen to those comments about nothing nearby. If you want the hustle of the nightlife, Chaweng central is 15 minutes away. Get on the shuttle or order a taxi for 300thb. It’s a 4 star hotel, trying to get back to some kind of normal after covid and over time, I am sure the owners will reinvest their money to make improvements where some other guests have commented about in other posts but I do think it is dependent on the room type you book and/or are assigned as most of them are fine. Give it a go, it is worth it. I’ve been to many hotels over the years - more than the average Joe - and it’s only recently where I’ve checked in and out of two hotels on the same day in all these years.

Molto buoni dipendenti, ma strano pubblico (turisti). Si noti che i thailandesi cercano di non essere contagiati dai bagni vibes dei turisti. Super colazione, grande impianto. Ho perso la prima notte e non riuscivo a trovare la mia camera perché la numerazione della camera era esclusivamente in Thailandia. Per questo l'hotel offre molte attività ricreative. Sono un viaggiatore da solo e mi sono sentito molto bene con i Thai. Ma non appena un turista 08/15 è arrivato, si è notato la nervosità del personale, perché quasi tutti gli ospiti sono quasi solo innervositi. Così sono stato felice di sentire buon vibes da qualche parte dopo otto notti. E questo è, infine, quello che la Thailandia fa. In breve, i thailandesi non hanno meritato questi turisti di naso alto.

Premetto di aver alloggiato in un boat suite, location articolata su due livelli, pulito con ampio bagno ( sono due in realtà) camera matrimoniale e balcone, pulizia buona. Grandi piscine a disposizione della clientela affollate da bambini. Buona colazione con ampia scelta di dolce e salato, prevalenza salato. Spiaggia carina ma, per me sarda , il mare non è il massimo per limpidezza e pulizia (scarico fecale delle barche nelle immediate vicinanze) acqua torbida; a disposizione ombrelloni e lettini, puntualmente occupati da asciugamani posizionati la mattina presto senza che le persone ci siano realmente, situazione un po fastidiosa. Fuori dal resort ci sono pochissimi negozi e/o ristoranti, per cui è necessario spostarsi con un taxi ( 12 euro a tratta) o noleggiare uno scooter ( 15 euro al giorno, cercate di non consegnare il Vs passaporto come garanzia)Discreto il ristorante del resort che propone diversi piatti di cucina thai e internazionale. Alle 22 all'interno del resort non è più possibile consumare se non usufruire del servizio in camera.

In generale, era buono, buono, ma non sorprendente; le sue estremità erano un letto molto duro che poteva essere migliorato solo in minima misura con un pad di mattresse e un rumore forte da club vicini fino all’inizio della mattina. Quando si sono verificati problemi, come la chiave della stanza non funzionava, il personale lavorava rapidamente per cercare di risolvere il problema. Il colazione era molto buona, la spiaggia privata e il servizio erano grandi, il CA lavorava bene nelle stanze, e il personale di pulizia faceva un grande lavoro ogni giorno. Non mi fermero' di nuovo, ma solo per il letto. Questo è un dealer per me.

This is my third time staying at Samui mermaid. Can not fault this resort, it’s just what I need to recharge my soul before flying home. I stayed the deluxe side with its own pool and it’s worth spending the extra pennies if you enjoy having a pool all to yourself 😊 Stay are lovely as always, location is brilliant, views are amazing. All n all if you want somewhere to chill out, relax and recharge your soul before flying home then this is the place to stay! I will definitely be coming back again x

Il miglior hotel che abbia mai soggiornato! È situato su una roccia, lontano dal rumore, grandi viste! Ci sono autobus gratuito per la spiaggia di Lamai o Chaweng. L'hotel dispone di un app per introdurre tutto e comunicare, molto conveniente, il personale è utile! Il colazione è fantastico, super delizioso! Uova, bevande, riso fritto, ecc tutto quello che puoi ordinare! Non abbiamo soggiornato in una villa, ma la vista è buona, la camera è grande! Ci sono 2 piscine infinite in hotel, e una spiaggia privata! Abbiamo sentito che ci sono alcuni sport acquatici disponibili, ma il tempo era troppo forte per farlo durante il nostro soggiorno! Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo, rimarremo certamente lì!

Quando ho prenotato e guardato le foto sul sito web di prenotazione, mi sono molto atteso di questo soggiorno. Quando sono arrivato la mia prima impressione, non potevo aspettare di andarmene. Ci siamo mostrati in una piccola stanza di stupore scuro, ma ci siamo detto che potevamo aggiornare in una stanza superiore. Non mi sbagliare questo posto è molto costoso e in un posto bello, ma potrebbe essere molto meglio. Era sporco, dovevamo andare a Lotus per ottenere prodotti di pulizia. Il letto potrebbe essere anche una foglia di chipboard, non sono sicuro che ci fosse davvero una materassi su di esso? Nei tre giorni che abbiamo rimasto la stanza non era pulita, le vasche vuote o niente. La piscina era sporca, le persone sedute intorno a fumare ****, tosse e spugna; di nuovo le foto sul sito fanno sembrare fantastico - in vita reale non così Certamente non un hotel boutique.
