There are tons of antique shops and markets in the area. The towns of Saugatuck and Douglas are fantastic little towns -- a lot of unique stores, many art galleries, great restaurants and bars. There are also a hand full of boat rental places for pontoons, kayaks, paddleboards and jet skis located within a few miles. Take a stroll or bike ride to Douglas Beach with a paved pathway from the cottage. On your way stop at the iconic Root Beer barrel for a quick lunch served out of a giant root beer barrel building or across the street is the Woosah store and Outside Coffee Co. This 2 bedroom 1 bath vintage charmer with its white picket fence is an art filled gem with all your modern amenities of today. The Postcard Cottage is a perfect location for a family/group of 4 or a romantic couples getaway. The well appointed kitchen is stocked full and equipped with stainless steel appliances for your use. There are 2 bedrooms each with queen beds and ample closets/storage. The spacious bathroom is located off the primary bedroom and features a large soaking tub with a fully tiled shower, marble tiled flooring and lighted makeup mirror. There is also a washer and dryer available for your use. PLEASE NOTE: ACCESS TO THE BATHROOM IS ONLY THROUGH THE PRIMARY BEDROOM. There is a beautiful large zen like screened in back porch to enjoy your morning cup of coffee with a good book or a glass of wine. In addition there is a sweet front porch with a view of the Kalamazoo River. Take an afternoon stroll through this quaint quiet neighborhood or walk a block away to enjoy a cup of coffee at Respite Cappuccino Court, breakfast at Happy Stance or cocktails at Everyday People among other choices.
