We’re directly on the East branch of the Au Sable River & walking distance to many things. Including, a shuttle to Lake Placid/Whiteface. Unit 3 is located on the second floor and has 2 large, beautifully decorated bedrooms with views of the AuSable River. Bedroom 1 has a queen bed & bedroom 2 has a full size bed with a twin trundle. The open concept kitchen-living room features stainless steel appliances, butcher block countertops with bar seating, a large pantry with complimentary coffee & tea, a microwave & toaster oven. As well as tons of storage for additional food. The living room area has a 60” smart TV for all your streaming Apps. Each unit has shared access to the yard, which faces the river and features outdoor seating and a fire pit. Firewood, will be provided for your convenience. From the yard you can take the short path down the bank to access the river. This building was originally constructed in the 1900’s & still has some of it’s original charm but has been recently updated.Pets:One small to medium dog (under 50lbs) is allowed in the unit & must be leashed at all times, while outside. Pets are not to be left alone in the apartment unless they are crated or outside during your stay. All poop must be bagged & discarded in the trash bin & we ask that you do not allow your pets on the furniture or to dig holes in the yard. We’re allowing pets on a trial basis in the hopes that people will be respectful. Please, don’t ruin it for others. The house is minutes from Au Sable Forks where there is a movie theater, great pizza place, wine store and supermarket. In Wilmington, about a 10 minute car ride, there is a river front beach with volleyball court and picnic area. You can also enjoy the summer concert series in the heart of Jay just down the road from the house. A bit further is the wonder of Lake Placid, about a 20 minute car ride, where you can browse the outlet stores and artisan shops and enjoy lake view delights and dining on Main Street. For a nice day trip, downtown Montreal is about a two hour car ride away. Other nearby activities in the winter are world class skiing at Whiteface Mountain, bobsled and tubing at the Mt. Van Hoevenberg Olympic Center, or ice skating and dog sleigh riding in Lake Placid.
