Three spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms will give you and your guests privacy while staying under one roof. A full basement recreation room with 65 inch smart TV, pool table and karaoke machine will entertain your group while maintaining the fantastic lake and mountain views from that space. Rise & Shine has three porches that give unique views of the lake and mountains: one porch just off the living room/dining room with ample seating; one porch is off the basement rec room and one private porch off the third floor bedroom with a porch swing to enjoy the view with a cup of coffee. The fire pit on the side of the cabin is fun for wrapping up the day with smores and great conversation. The cabin has a boat ramp and dock which gives you access to Douglas Lake for fishing and swimming right from the house and bring your boat to explore the over 500 miles of inlets and coastline that the lake has to offer. If working remotely is needed, the cabin has complimentary guest access to WIFI and internet services. An office nook on the third floor overlooks the open concept kitchen, living and dining areas below … not to mention keeping an eye on the lake and mountain scenery. If your concern is being able to see the water, you can see it all year round. If you are planning to bring your boat and launch it from our property boat launch, make sure you check with us or local authorities to make sure you are comfortable with the existing water level. This tiny log cabin has private lake access with a small kayak dock. Soak in the hot tub to start your dayUnfortunately, it is not large enough to dock a boat, but you can use the Douglas Lake Marina, about 10 minutes away, to launch your boat. There is one small kayak provided but feel free to bring your own. We do not provide life jackets. Please understand this rental is for couples only and maybe one small child, but not 3 adults. Excellent fishing, and is located just south of Dandridge (10 mins). Sevierville is 20 mins, Pigeon Forge is 30 mins, and Gatlinburg is 45 mins. You have the ability to be close to all the attractions without the hustle and bustle of staying in the city. The cabin is the last house in the cove, so there is very little boat traffic to interfere with your stay. It is attached to a larger home that sleeps 10, if you need room for a reunion, etc. The properties are separated by a 6 ft privacy fence. The lake is a TVA lake, so there is water from Memorial Day until late September ONLY. After that, there is NO WATER. Please see the pictures! There is still lots to do even out of season. This is a great getaway location for a relaxing long weekend or vacation for 2. The small floating dock set up for a kayak or canoe, is just a few steps below the cabin. H2O Watersports is about 1/2 mile up the road for anyone who wants to rent boats or jet skis. This house on the water is great for water sports like kayaking, paddle boarding, canoeing, and swimming. Beautiful and peaceful lakefront house with a private dock on Lake Douglas, only 25 minutes from Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The house is a 4 bedroom home plus a game room with additional sleeping. There are a total of 8 beds in the house with sleeping for up to 10. The upstairs has a spacious master bedroom with a queen and a full bathroom. The second bedroom comes with a queen, and the 3rd bedroom has a full and a twin bed. There is a new full bathroom in between these two bedrooms. The kitchen, dining, and living room are combo rooms on the main level. The downstairs has been completely remodeled over the winter. There is a new game room, a new theater room with recliners, and a new 50-inch HD TV. This room houses a day bed with a trundle that sleeps two, and also new bunks beds with a twin and full mattress. This is a perfect setup for the kids or a second family! The game room has a ping pong table, poker table, and refrigerator. Both decks have gates so no little ones can escape. We've built a new walkway to the water, complete with a platform at the lake for relaxing that steps down to the lake and a floating dock. There is a landing about 5 miles from the house by car if you want to bring a boat. H2O rentals are only about 1/2 mile up the road for anyone who wants to rent boats or jet skis. Dandridge is the closest town and it is about a 10-minute drive with restaurants and a grocery store. This lake is dam controlled so you have water from May-late September.
