The house was renovated from a small village, a 1949 resort village. The house renovation was carried out by two college students who returned to their hometowns to start their own businesses. Each guest room was designed by themselves and designers, each with a different original color and elements. It is a farmhouse restaurant and a high-end homestay with unique features. Located in the central area of the entire Nanjing Tulou Scenic Area, the village is nestled by mountains and water, and stands out on the roadside< The village is based on four houses, among which Qiyuan Building is the birthplace of the entire Liwu Village with a history of 800 years, and Fubao Building has a history of over 200 years. It is also a combination of two stone houses, forming a courtyard. The main focus is on vacation parent-child tours, and the room has strong market positioning and details. Each room in the hotel has an independent refrigerator, dry and wet separation in the bathroom, hot water system and air energy, and the mattress is a dream lily zero pressure bed< Hotel breakfast and lunch are all local specialty farmhouse dishes. If you have special preferences or dietary habits, please contact the front desk of the homestay in advance. The hotel has standard conference room, indoor fitness area, children's amusement park, fish pond, chess and card room and game room. You can make an appointment for Roasted whole lamb one or two days in advance. Customized souvenirs in the store, as well as coffee, cocktails, and red wine for sale. Capable of providing conference services and company tail gear reservation services, among others.
"It's not an easy place to reach if, like us, you are a family of 6 with a baby and a lorry load of luggage. We arrived by high speed train at Nanjing (Fujian) and found a taxi to take us to the hotel (one way ¥260, negotiated from ¥300). The journey was around 2 hours on winding and slow roads (on the way back we took the high speed motorway which reduced the journey time to around an hour).
The hotel is in a rural location off the main tourist areas. We arrived later than expected but we were able to get dinner. The food is exceptional. The chicken in particular is delicious.
We booked a family room with a slide. Our children would of happily spent the entire stay in the room playing on the slide. I've stayed in many 5 star branded hotels and yet this guesthouse has so many little extras, gadgets and technology than most. The password keypad door handle is perhaps the most over complicated means of opening a door, but I applaud the dedication to style and design.
The toilet has a Japanese style multifunction thing going on. It took me a long time to figure out how to flush it. The toilet seat lifts when you open the door!
The TV is a large projection on the wall. Not being Chinese I struggled to figure how to get regular TV channels. Everything I found required pay to view.
It was a nice and clear projection however, and if able to understand the programming it would be amazing.
We enjoyed 2 days touring various Tulou's. There are many within a short drive, though behind the hotel there is a small village with Tulou and earth buildings that make for a lovely walk.
Overall, a great guesthouse with trendy vibes and family friendly facilities. Very comfortable stay."
