We stayed in Floral Luxury.1949 Guesthouse for 1 night. We booked Mufan room located on the ground floor as i am travelling with my elderly mom and carrying heavy luggage bags.
The guesthouse butler will contact you the night before your arrival to add them to Wechat for easy communication. They will share their hotel location and offer pick-up service at the train station if required.
Access to Yunshuiyao town is RMB90 perpax and free for those aged above 65 years old. Yunshuiyao is a scenic town area with 3 km long (2 - 3 hours walk). We hired a chinese speaking guide to accompany us to explain the history of Huaiyan building (square tulou), Hegui building (round tulou), and the town area. It cost RMB100.
The guesthouse is located inside Yunshuiyao town, behind the shop houses, in-between waterwheel and 2 trees (named as husband and wife) aged above 670 years old.
When we reached there at 2.30 pm, it was raining. The hotel staff immediately came out with an umbrella to pick us up and assist with the luggage.
The check-in is fast, and the access to the room is by password, which they will share in Wechat. Checkout is also very easy.
The hotel offered free fruits twice a day, afternoon and evening.
The basic bathroom essentials are complete, and they also provide bathrobes. The bed and pillows are very comfortable for a good night sleep. Luckily the aircond can change to warm mode as it was very cold on raining day.
There's a mini kids playground for children's. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast set come with porridge and soya drink. Can topup if needed more. The in-house restaurant provides lunch & dinner with a la carte chinese foods menu.
The sky brightens at 5 am, while the sun rises high at 6.45am. If you are able to wake up early, this is the best time for you to revisit the town and tulou surrounding area for nice photos and cool breeze as only local people around. There's a roadside stall selling super long youtiao (equal to size of 2 youtiao) located near the stone bridge not far from guesthouse.
The whole Yunshuiyao town is covered with natural peebles pathway. Wear suitable shoes as it will be very slippery during the rainy day.

Non è facile raggiungere se, come noi, siete una famiglia di 6 con un bambino e un camion bagagli. Siamo arrivati con un treno ad alta velocità a Nanjing (Fujian) e abbiamo trovato un taxi per portarci all'hotel (un modo ¥260, negoziato da ¥300). Il viaggio era di circa 2 ore su strade lente e ventose (in ritorno abbiamo preso l'autostrada ad alta velocità che ha ridotto il tempo di viaggio a circa un'ora).
L'hotel è situato in una posizione rurale, dalle principali aree turistiche. Siamo arrivati più tardi di quanto ci si aspettava, ma siamo riusciti a cena. Il cibo è eccezionale. Il pollo in particolare è delizioso.
Abbiamo prenotato una camera familiare con una diapositiva. I nostri figli avrebbero trascorso felicemente tutto il soggiorno nella stanza giocando sulla diapositiva. Ho soggiornato in molti hotel 5 stelle con marchio eppure questa casa ha così tanti piccoli accessori, gadget e tecnologia che la maggior parte. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor.

This hotel is beautiful. We stayed for 3 nights in order to visit the Tulou clusters. It’s located in a small scenic village and only 30 minutes drive to the Tulou, the hotel owners were great in arranging a private car for us to take us where we wanted to go. We came from Nanjing railway station and the car picked us up from there. The rooms themselves are beautiful, most of the ground floor ones seemed to have a terrace with a seating area next to the stream. We really enjoyed relaxing on the terrace and listening to the sound of the water. As a westerner, the beds are extremely comfy and not too firm. Each morning we enjoyed a traditional home cooked Chinese breakfast served to us on the hotel terrace. The owners were kind in helping us with laundry and even getting Covid tests done. I would 100% recommend this hotel for a short stay!

UUtente ospiteThe place was exactly as I hoped - quiet location with peaceful view and very comfortable room. The owner was helpful with advice and concerned about my return in the evening. I read other comments about people walking past. There is a room directly above the footpath to maybe avoid, but my room was fine - though you could see the footpath indirectly. Breakfast was only Chinese offering, but when I declined, they actually delivered some eggs and pastry to my room, which was appreciated.

UUtente ospiteThis homestay is new, nice, clean and comfortable. The service is like a hotel. This homestay is located inside the Yunshuiyao scenic area, and so every guest needs to pay an entrance fee. The homestay can help to arrange a taxi to pick up from 南靖railway station to the homestay with a reasonable price.
If you like beautiful scenery, peaceful and relaxing environment, this is the right place as it’s away from the crowded village centre. It takes about 15 minutes to walk to the village centre, ie the water wheel, old banyan tree, and souvenir shops, through a scenic route along the stream and under the shade of old trees. Trekking the cobblestone path gives you a good workout.
There’s a few tulou (earth buildings) within the scenic area but only 2 are open for public to visit. The others are private. Hegui lou is less than a minute’s walk from the homestay, passing by paddy fields, vegetable gardens and lotus field. You can literally see it from the homestay.
The homestay serves delicious local food. I had dinner twice and enjoyed tasting different dishes. Breakfast is simple and includes local produce, giving you a taste of village life. Also, the homestay serves tea from its own farm. I enjoyed tasting different tea.
Lastly, the staff 小凉is very friendly and good service.

It was a two hour ride from Xiamen and you started realising it was really special when you enter Taxia village.
The resort is an integral part of the village and the local villagers were sunning their harvests next to it.
From the moment you walked into the resort, you could feel that you will be well taken care of.
So much love and dedication was done in building the place, it felt totally seamless with the surrounding traditional houses and yet, the level of luxury is no different from any 5 star hotel.
Each nook and cranny were beautiful and I could spend a whole day just looking them
We stayed in the double room unit which was located across the stream from the reception with views to die for and so much privacy.
Food was hearty and more than enough

Il soggiorno è situato nel villaggio di Taxia, che è più tranquillo e meno commercializzato nelle aree di Tulou scenic che offrono molto privacy per gli ospiti. La stanza e l'edificio sono situati proprio accanto al flusso idrico chiaro. La notte, posso anche sentire il flusso idrico fluente. I villaggi sono molto amici ai turisti che camminano intorno. Non sono incoraggiati a vendere prodotti commerciali ai turisti, che è molto diverso da altre aree di scena commercializzate Tulou. Il proprietario/ospite è molto ospite, amichevole e utile. Questo differisce dall'esperienza di soggiorno dell'altro hotel. Ho anche avuto aiuto su come andare intorno alle aree della scena Tulou e dove ottenere ristoranti a prezzi ragionevoli dall'ospite.
Questo è un popolo molto buono.Questo luogo di popolo è nel villaggio di Sotto.Il villaggio di Sotto è un luogo relativamente tranquillo e non commercializzato.E'uno spazio privato per gli ospiti.Il popolo è vicino al fiume e quando dorme di notte, può anche sentire il rumore fluente del fiume. Camminando intorno al villaggio di Taxi al mattino, i villaggi sono molto amici per i turisti, senza alcuna pressione per me per vendere prodotti commerciali.Il proprietario del popolo è molto amichevole e volevo aiutare gli ospiti.Questo è molto diverso da quello di altri hotel generali. Il capo ha anche indicato come andare ad altri punti di vista del suolo e a mangiare un ristorante equo vicino.

LLINGSLa bella signora è stata così gentile da prestarci vestiti caldi e riscaldamento, da aiutarci con il trasporto e da cucinare per noi a un prezzo molto ragionevole. Più adatto per coloro che hanno il proprio trasporto in grado di guidare fino al soggiorno e anche avere il prelievo EV.

BBadiyifeng萬家東方土樓店位置好，正對加油站，旁邊就是南靖土樓客服中心。酒店採用仿土樓造型，大氣新穎。昨天晚上在酒店前台辦理入住手續時，特意給前台客服人員講，要一個安靜的房間，沒想到進房間一看，正對馬路和加油站，衹好下樓重新換了一個房間。在攜程訂的房間不含早餐，想訂早餐，客服人員説每人30塊錢，而攜程顯示每位客人的早餐是15元，和前台協商，前台説我們就是30元每位的標準，沒有辦法，給攜程客服打了電話，在攜程客服的協調下，最終還是每位15元。在此，要感謝攜程客服。酒店沒有配備一次性拖鞋，後來我看給別的房間送，我也跟着要了兩雙。洗髮水和沐浴液都是用過的，洗髮水半瓶都不到，裏面還是水，幸好我自己帶有洗髮水。
萬佳東方酒店的服務急需改善。
