Nanjing: hotel con bar

A very beautiful hotel with the structure in wood of an old tulou and a fishpond in the center of the courtyard. It was very peaceful. You really have the feeling of living in a tulou and you have a little balcony with a splendid view of the courtyard and the roof. You are awaken by the sounds of the birds in the morning, it is really a unique experience. The only failings : the breakfast was a bit lacking + it can be weird for some people that the bathroom and the bedroom are not on the same floor. They should also add a curtain to the window near the bed.

Il capo è stato molto accogliente. Ci ha indicato il parcheggio non appena siamo arrivati. Era proprio al cancello. Non ci sono molti B&B con più posti auto al cancello del Tasha Village. Ci ha portato le valigie quando siamo scesi dalla macchina e anche quando siamo partiti. Le condizioni dell'alloggio erano buone, molto pulite e l'arredamento era molto originale. C'erano anche molti giocattoli per bambini nella hall. Anche il suo cibo era delizioso. Ci ha dato un piccolo regalo prima di partire. Soggiornerò di nuovo a casa sua la prossima volta, se ne avrò la possibilità.

We had a nice stay here and would highly recommend it. The rooms were clean, spacious and newly renovated. The bathroom was super clean, the shower was strong and water was hot. The bed was very comfortable and the owner and his wife were very friendly. Breakfast was tasty traditional Congi with pickled veg, eggs, salty nuts and steamed buns. The location was amazing, it’s right on the river so all your hear is the lovely river! It’s right on the path that leads you to all the major sights in the Yunshuiyao Scenic Area and close and nice walk to each Tulou from here with gorgeous Banyan trees!!! The balcony was really nice to sit and enjoy dinner with incredible views of the river and surrounding Tulous. We had delicious lunch and dinner here. Would recommend pre-booking a driver, as transportation to the train from here is a little tricky if you are not self-driving. Very good price too! Would recommend this gem!

Non è facile raggiungere se, come noi, siete una famiglia di 6 con un bambino e un camion bagagli. Siamo arrivati con un treno ad alta velocità a Nanjing (Fujian) e abbiamo trovato un taxi per portarci all'hotel (un modo ¥260, negoziato da ¥300). Il viaggio era di circa 2 ore su strade lente e ventose (in ritorno abbiamo preso l'autostrada ad alta velocità che ha ridotto il tempo di viaggio a circa un'ora). L'hotel è situato in una posizione rurale, dalle principali aree turistiche. Siamo arrivati più tardi di quanto ci si aspettava, ma siamo riusciti a cena. Il cibo è eccezionale. Il pollo in particolare è delizioso. Abbiamo prenotato una camera familiare con una diapositiva. I nostri figli avrebbero trascorso felicemente tutto il soggiorno nella stanza giocando sulla diapositiva. Ho soggiornato in molti hotel 5 stelle con marchio eppure questa casa ha così tanti piccoli accessori, gadget e tecnologia che la maggior parte. La porta della password è forse il modo più complicato per aprire una porta, ma applaudi la dedizione allo stile e al design. Il bagno ha un multifunzione giapponese. Mi ci ha voluto molto tempo per capire come spruzzarlo. Il sedile del bagno ascende quando apri la porta! La TV è una grande proiezione sul muro. Non essere cinese, ho lottato per capire come ottenere canali televisivi regolari. Tutto quello che ho trovato doveva pagare per guardare. The hotel is in a less touristy location in the area which is perfect. There are a lot of Tolous nearby so it is very conveniently located. It is a beautiful small boutique hotel that encapsulates the architecture of the are very well. The hotel manager was absolutely perfect. She went to great lengths to make our stay unforgettable.

I booked the hotel because it would be a wonderful novelty to have the opportunity to stay in an authentic tulou, which was also the ancestor home of the owner. I wasn't disappointed. The bossman was very helpful, polite, and cheerful. He picked me from the main entrance of the scenic area; otherwise, it would be a long walk to the hotel. And, showed how to take public bus from the high speed train station to the main entrance of the scenic area, places of interests and various transport options to some of the rarely visited ancient towns with tulou.
