Hotel in zona Sahara Gallery, Hurghada

Sono d'accordo che si facciano dei controlli per la sicurezza di chi soggiorna nel resort dato l'alto numero di bambini...ma non si può invadere la privacy di una persona...perseguibile per legge il fatto che sia stato effettuato un controllo alla cassaforte di sicurezza nella stanza senza che io fossi davanti...nella cassaforte ci potrebbero essere oggetti molto personali...io tenevo li solo gli oggetti più di valore quali chiavi di casa e passaporti.. il personale è così speciale che puoi lasciare anche i soldi buttati per terra ...ma se si deve svolgere un controllo sulla cassaforte il proprietario deve essere li davanti...

Ottima posizione nel centro di Hurghada. Ci sono però alberghi con strutture migliori e più grandi allo stesso prezzo se si percorre qualche km lungo la costa. Buffet corretto. Siamo stati sfortunati con la camera (non ti hanno dato 205) perché era accanto a un generatore che alle 4 del mattino faceva un rumore insopportabile le 2 notti in cui siamo stati (soggiorni più lunghi sarebbe stato impraticabile stare in quella stanza) in Inoltre è andata via la corrente elettrica e l'aria condizionata è rimasta spenta per circa un'ora.

Difficile fare questa recensione restando obiettivi. Iniziamo dai punti a favore: Hotel nella zona migliore di Hurghada, proprio all’interno della Marina. All’esterno ben curato. Terrazza panoramica bellissima e ben curata. Personale gentile, cortese e molto disponibile nel risolvere i problemi. La nostra stanza, una deluxe, era ampia, comoda e pulita per gli standard locali. Bel terrazzo affacciato sulla Marina. Convenzionato con il Club di fronte Blue Beach sul quale non voglio spendere mezza parola in quanto recensito a parte. Passiamo ora ai punti meno piacevoli: il Beach Club appunto che e’ un’assoluta vergogna, ma sopratutto il fatto che in hotel dalle 14.00 alle 18.00 non ci fosse una goccia d’acqua. Impossibile fare una doccia e dopo il mare con 40 gradi la cosa e’ piuttosto fastidiosa. Davanti alla nostra reazione molto forte considerandola dopo la fregatura della spiaggia la soluzione trovata e’ stata quella di offrirci la colazione gratuitamente e regalarci altre sue bottiglie d’acqua per la notte, dicendo che il problema era risolto. Accettando tale compensazione mi è’ stato fatto firmare un modulo in cui mi impegnavo a non procedere ulteriormente e a richiedere altro, oltre a non recensire negativamente la struttura. A onor di cronaca la mattina l’acqua non c’era di nuovo e senza dire mezza parola alle 9.00 in punto siamo andati via, almeno la colazione e’ all’altezza e di qualità Peccato perché il potenziale c’è, il personale e’ attento, ma per ora definirsi “luxury” o “boutique” e’ un po’ pretenzioso.

The hotel is lovely, a little dated but has a beautiful pool area and majority of staff are polite. Cons: 1. Room cleaners hassling for tips and shouting down hallway after you which made us not want to go back to the room until we knew it was done and cleaner had left. 2. Contrary to other reviews you are NOT allowed to eat in the sister hotel (Arabia) or drink at their beach bars unless you tip the bar staff. They said they would serve us but made it clear without actually saying the words that they expected a tip in return for breaching their rules. 3. Bel Air has tiny 'beach' area which is actually just a patch of hard ground covered in a dusting of sand with a wall around the sea entered only down swimming pool style metal steps. Arabia has beautiful cove beach and multiple beach bars. 4. Hassled all day long by (some) rude hotel staff trying to sell anything and everything. We thought within the hotel complex we would be free from this but all day they wake you/disturb you selling massage, portraits, day trips, restaurant meals, the list was endless. 5. Wi-fi...forget it, none existent. 6. Food, average at best, served cold on more than one occassion and we are definitely not fussy eaters. Very dissatisfied as the reviews we saw said the food was amazing?? 7. Hotel 90% German (towels on beds at 6am) and hotel aimed at them. All staff spoke fluent German and pretty uninterested when we said we were from the UK and struggled with English. Pros: 1. Great air con. 2. Lovely shower and very spacious room with huge balcony which was lovely. 3. Helpful reception staff helped me suprise my wife with birthday flowers etc so that was great. 4. Beautiful pool area, spacious and very clean. Overall we had a satisfactory stay, the weather was perfect and no upset tummies so can't complain. Would we return, no, just not made to feel welcome as Brits and the persistent sales pitches and hassling for tips was just too much for us. We do of course wish the hotel the very best and thank them for our stay.

Marchio Hilton, splendida vista sul mare, buon pasto in mezza pensione, colazione non abbastanza soddisfacente, Yasmeen alla reception offre un ottimo servizio? È una rara ed eccellente impiegata dell'hotel. Si è verificato un incidente e lo scarico del bagno non è stato regolare.

Wir hatten einen super Aufenthalt im Meraki Resort. Das Essen ist extrem lecker und abwechslungsreich. Der Service ist ohne Ausnahme toll. Die Zimmer sauber und mit allen Annehmlichkeiten ausgestattet. Die Betten sind ebenfalls super, wir haben wunderbar geschlafen. Wir empfehlen das Meraki Resort uneingeschränkt weiter und würden jederzeit wieder kommen.

Pro: Resort molto bello: spazi verdi molto curati, diverse piscine, tantissime activita per bambini e adulti, 3 restauranti 'a la carte cart'. piu quello a buffet che offre un ampia scelta, zone relax and zone intratenimento ben definite. Personale molto gentile. Ho apprezzato molto che il resort prova ad avere un approccio green, attento al ambiente; a differenza di tanti alti resort in Hurgada, non usano bicchieri usa e getta per la spiaggia. Abbiamo avuto una sgradevole experienza con il manager di uno degli ristoranti che e stato molto scortese negli nostri confronti e di altri clienti (molto inusuale). Nonostante questo, il nostro soggiorno e stato molto piacevole. Top managers hanno investigato l'accaduto e hanno provato il loro meglio per farci avere un experienza positiva overall. Ho apprezzato molto, e faccio i miei complimenti per il soft and constructive HR approch, che hanno adottato con il loro dipendente che e stato mandato per un upskill training . Ringrazio Lucia, Mahmoud and F&M manager per aver dimostrato grande professionalismo e particolare attenzione alla cura del cliente, nel risolvere l'accaduto. Sicuramente tornero. Cons: Could have a more proactive approach to preserving the marine environment. While they try to clean the beach of huge amounts of plastic cups and bags, much more can be done to anticipate the issue. Increasing the customer's awareness during the welcome briefing and visual panels display could be a beginning. Still, too many customers feed the fish with bread (100% are unaware this can make them sick/kill the fish) and leave rubbish around, which easily pollutes the sea because of the wind. I believe it is not an easy challenge, but surely a strategy can be implemented to preserve the marine flora and fauna.

The hotel is perfect! The service was amazing! All staff is very polite and helpful, we really enjoyed our stay very much! The view from our room was amazing! And the views from every point in the hotel actually is so attractive and impressive!!! The food was delicious as well, the hotel has 8 restaurant, one of them is for extra charge. We will come back for sure!

Bel hotel, moderno per gli standard Egiziani. Tutte le sere dalle 22 alla 01 circa musica ad alto volume che si sente in tutte le stanze dell’hotel. Dipende da che tipo di vacanza cerchiate. Cibo nella media per essere in Egitto. Personale gentile, ma tipo a colazione un cameriere in particolare troppo assolante e quasi viscido. In generale soggiorno discreto con un’Egitto un po’ più di lusso a El Gouna.
