"Il mio alloggio preferito durante il nostro viaggio! La vista è così sorprendente e l'ospite è stato molto utile. Ci sono righe di venditori di cibo proprio in tutto il nostro posto e un grande centro commerciale, tra cui Walmart appena 8 minuti didi didi andare via. La stazione ferroviaria è convenientemente situata a 10 minuti. Btw se si sta prendendo didi alla stazione e si sta piovendo, si prega di cater almeno 15 minuti per la saliva."

The room was generally clean and had basic amenities. The host tried to assist us, which we appreciated. However, the bed was very hard and caused back pain. The smart room features only responded to Chinese voice commands,There’s a breakfast shop right next to the hotel, and it’s just a 7-minute walk from the railway station. Only thing is, when we come back to pick our lugguage, there is no sitting toilet and place to clean up.

Upon arrival- They greeted us upon the street to guide us to the homestay. It was near the old town gate and was a easy walk. During stay- The heater and hit shower was well functioning. Available breakfast has vegan option also muslim friendly. It was simple but delicious and nutritionous. There is laundry area available and it was free 😍. Prior checkout- We request for early breakfast at 7am and they accommodate us gladly. The owner even greet and send us out. Overall it was a very great stay and RECOMMENDEDDDDD !!!!!!! 10 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

"The homestay felt just like home with its cozy design of the interior and courtyard. It's in a prime location with many tourist attractions nearby like the ancient town, erhai lake, cangshan and chongsheng temple. The amenities were complete and cleanliness was not an issue. What makes this homestay amazing is the warm hospitality of the manager, who was incredibly friendly and helpful, providing recommendations and assistance with itenarary planning and booking. He was willing to entertain any requests and questions, and was very easy to strike random conversations with. I had a good time chatting with them and hope to visit this homestay again in the future."

XXNYLMy friend and I enjoyed our stay in the 'Yunxi 270° Seaview Terrace Double Bed Room' at Dali.Muxi Inn (大理木兮·半山Villa海景民宿). We found this hotel via reviews on XiaoHongShu and the room looked exactly like the stock photos. The hotel and room were beautiful, the hotel staff were very helpful, and we would highly recommend this hotel if you are visiting Dali and are looking for a hotel with an amazing view of Dali Erhai lake. Number of nights of stay: 3 nights Hotel location: The hotel is situated in a quiet but brightly lit residential/hotel estate at the end of winding uphill road (around the Dreamland/Santorini 圣托里尼大理理想邦 area), and is located about 20 minutes away from Dali Railway Station. The vehicle drop-off point is directly outside the hotel. The restaurants around the hotel close at about 8.30pm-9pm Room: The 'Yunxi 270° Seaview Terrace Double Bed Room' is the only room located on the fifth floor. There is a lift in the hotel so it was convenient to transport our luggage. The room was perfect - it was really spacious, beautiful and clean. There was one king-sized bed, which was slightly too soft for my liking, but the pillows (one soft and one firmer memory foam pillow for each guest) were comfortable. There was a large living area with a sofa, three coffee tables and two additional chairs; balcony with two comfortable rocking chairs, a coffee table and a stunning view of the Erhai lake. The sky roof, when opened, was pretty in the daytime but it was difficult to see the stars at night due to the light pollution from the nearby buildings. The open concept wardrobe was large enough for us to hang our clothes Bathroom: Two sinks, separate shower and toilet area, one jacuzzi. Toiletries (e.g. shampoo, conditioner and body soap), disposable toothbrush/toothpaste, rubber bathroom slippers and disposable bedroom slippers were provided. The shower had both a handheld shower head and rain shower, with good water pressure and temperature Hotel amenities: Complimentary breakfast (from 8.30am-10.30am; delicious spread of noodles with soup, porridge, fried egg, bread and vegetable platter) and afternoon tea (Lotus Biscoff biscuits, yoghurt, fruits and plums); cafe at the reception area is opened during office hours and only sells beverages; beautiful reception area with a friendly and gentle 5-year-old house cat; communal washing machine (free of charge, inclusive of laundry detergent) Transfer: Free airport pick-up for this room type. No free pick-up from Dali railway station

JJane.TRecentemente sono rimasto in un hotel a Dali, Yunnan, e ho avuto una piacevole esperienza. La pulizia della stanza e delle aree comuni è stata impressionante tutto è stato ben mantenuto e tempestivo, rendendo il soggiorno confortevole e rilassante. Il servizio era uno dei punti di vista, il personale era amichevole, attento e sempre disposto ad aiutare con le direzioni o le raccomandazioni locali, e ha fatto il check-in e il check-out senza stress. Ma vorrei commentare sul servizio di fotoshooting che questo hotel ha fornito, anche se hanno dichiarato che è gratuito, ma ogni camera SULL'USO 5 PICE NON EDITI foto non importa quanti giorni stai. Quindi, per favore non chiedere questo servizio se non vuoi che il tuo tasca abbia un buco 🤣, ti consigliere di avere il tradizionale travestimento a Lijiang o Shangrila che costa a prezzo più economico dove possono fornire il noleggio di travestimento e la piena ricarica . Questo hotel costa un prezzo molto alto per la fotoshooting se si vuole acquistare le foto da loro. In generale, consiglierei questo hotel a chiunque visita Lijiang, se gli piace la fotografia. Oppure si può soggiornare in altri hotel preferiti.

Since there are 4 of us, 2 adults and 2 kids, we had a big room and a smaller room joined together with 2 large beds. The view was amazing. Upon arrival, it was 4.45pm, and we asked for recommendations of where to eat. However, since it's neither dinner nor lunch time, the owner Mr Hao suggested that we eat in the guesthouse itself. The guest house auntie cooked for us the best rice noodles that we have eaten so far. Springy white noodles in a bowl of hot flavourful broth. My kids slurped it all up and polished the whole big bowl. When we asked for recommendations on local eating places, Mr Hao gave us a whole list of his specially curated food places, which we managed to try 2 of them. And indeed they were good. The downside was that there were no coffee or tea sachets in the room. But they said they will make it for us and can send it to our rooms. They mentioned that they have a tea room. And so we enjoyed the 2 types of brewed puer tea while Mr Hao explained a little about the tea. Personally, I feel that since they have a special tea room to enjoy tea, sending sachet or tea bags would be inappropriate and a disrespect to the art of enjoying Puer tea. Location wise, it has a good view of the lake. And it's quiet. It's not exactly near the old town but we took a taxi (20 mins) to the old town. Thankfully, we didn't stay at the old town as it's way too crowded, and we felt it's a tourist trap. However, near the guest house, there were many highly recommended restaurants. The guest house has a dining area on the 1st floor. One thing that I really enjoyed about this place is the dining area. The lady that cooked the meal for us looked like a typical chinese grandma (which reminded me of my late grandma) that she cooked the food so deliciously with passion. While we had our breakfast she would sit at another table, she wasnt staring , just casually sitting while browsing her phone or ensuring we finish our food but her presence reminded me of when my late grandma would sit and watch us eat to ensure we have no leftovers. Lol. It was an oddly familiar and nostalgic feeling that we laughed about. But we do get the homey feel, which we really liked. The guest house also had a laundry room for guests to use. The guest house owners were very initiative, friendly, and helpful. Anything we need, we just let Mr Hao know, and he would reply. He even offered to send us back to the highway station. It's definitely highly recommended. And I would ask my friends that should they come to Dali, they should stay in this place. It's just perfect for us.

HHuey YeeInterestingly, as soon as you enter the entrance to the hotel (about 20 steps from main Dali ancient city's pedestrian street), it is serenely quiet and no noise from the chaotic tourist crowd can be heard at all. How blissful! Don't let the simple, understated entrance throw you off. What I like about this hotel is as soon as I made the booking, the hotel contacted me and added me via Wechat. Checking with me on my arrival date and timing, and offer to pick up from the main road as the hotel is located on the pedestrian street so no car is allowed. It's a welcoming touch which I appreciated. I specifically booked the room that oversees the 'Wu Hua Tower' from my balcony. It's so close, loved it! Beautiful morning and night views of the tower. The hotel has just recently opened earlier in 2024; the room interior is modern and clean. Comfortable room size, bedding and amenities. It also has one of those multi-button toilet seat (just like the ones in Korea/Japan). One minor detail if can be improved is to add hooks or railings to hang the towels. The helpful team of staff, Pei helped me with the luggage using the trolley upon arrival, and Ah Hua who helped me to arrange a driver for the day and recommended places to check out. There was even grilled tofu and tea by the charcoal fire each night (it's freezing at night in Dec) whenever Ah Hua can manage (thank you for the supper and company, Ah Hua!). Met the easy-going owners too, husband and wife. No breakfast at the hotel but you will be spoilt for choices with so many eateries within walking distance. If you're up for it, there is a local morning market just outside of the North Gate, about 10mins walk. Very local with plenty of authentic breakfast options. Love the morning hustle! Plenty of photo opportunities. If you enjoy shopping, it's a 'disaster' as this hotel is located right in the middle of it! Shop till you drop. It is also close to plenty live music bars. I must say, this is one of those hotels that I will bookmark to stay again whenever I return to windy Dali.

青青青愛旅遊The best hotel experience of this trip is mainly due to the hotel's service. The butler, Liu, is very attentive and meticulous, which is the best service I've ever experienced. Super awesome!!! The hotel scenery is beautiful, located on the edge of Shuanglang Scenic Area, and every angle is very photogenic. The room facilities are complete and considerate, and there are very complete supplies for children, clean and tidy. There is a fruit plate when we arrive. In the evening, they also send good night milk, and the children really like the kittens in the shop. Butler Liu introduced the surrounding attractions, delicious food, and matters needing attention in detail, really considering for customers, and the experience is super good. Next time I come to Dali, I will stay here again👍

Il servizio della reception è stato molto attento e meticoloso. Nel complesso, il rapporto qualità-prezzo è molto alto. La posizione è a 200 metri dalla porta sud della città antica. Anche il centro di assistenza turistica è nelle vicinanze. I trasporti pubblici sono molto comodi. C'è un garage sotterraneo per auto a noleggio. È possibile prendere un taxi direttamente per raggiungere l'ingresso del negozio. I servizi in camera sono completi. Lo stile generale, lussuoso e leggero, è di alta qualità! Inoltre, la colazione è nutriente e sana, il che è molto buono.

JJonathanAbbiamo trascorso 3 notti meravigliose qui. La struttura ben progettata offre una tranquilla pausa dal brusio delle strade esterne. Avevamo una stanza al secondo piano che lasciava entrare una buona luce solare durante i giorni, permettendoci di sederci vicino all'enorme finestra per il tè. Anche se il bagno e la doccia erano un po' piccoli, la vasca da bagno in pietra era enorme. La camera era pulita e aveva tutti i comfort essenziali che ci si aspetterebbe. Abbiamo adorato i cuscini Coco-mat. La colazione era un punto culminante ogni mattina, offrendo opzioni varie e salutari. Anche il caffè era buono. Servivano dessert/snack notturni gratuiti. Non avevano molto personale ma il servizio era buono e tempestivo, sempre pronto a offrire suggerimenti e consigli ogni volta che necessario. Ciò includeva inviare loro messaggi tramite WeChat ogni volta che avevi bisogno di qualcosa. Quando la custode ha scoperto che ci stavamo dirigendo verso le altre proprietà JiXiaShan dopo Dali, ha preso l'iniziativa per informarli del nostro imminente arrivo e ha chiesto che ci fosse accordata una buona ospitalità. Ci ha anche aiutato a metterci in contatto con l'autista Dida quando avevamo bisogno di organizzare il trasporto tra le città. TT.W.LBooked the family room at courtyard level as I had elderly and wanted an accommodation which is easy to access. I also did not want to be hoisting luggages up and down and over cobbled streets in the old town and somewhere along the city wall so it is easy to start our tour of the sights around Dali in the morning. Room: Simple efficient clean layout with open concept. Rooms are relatively new. Sink area is located outside the bathroom which is good. The beds are hard in my opinion but elder felt the bed was comfortable. Bottled water was provided everyday (left outside our door). Room Temperature control was ok and the hot water for the shower heated up quick and could maintain at a stable level which is a plus unlike some other hotels in Yunnan. There is flight of 3-4 steps to room which is manageable for our elder as the room is slightly raised above the courtyard. We had an early check-in as the room was ready. The staff helped us move the luggages to our room. You could also book the entire courtyard for larger groups. The owner is building additional new rooms in the annex but the construction happens during the day and it is not noisy as most guests would be out. Location: It is near the South Gate (there is a local market nearby check the maps or ask the owner) and our local driver could stop right outside our accommodation. We didn’t get breakfast from the bnb as there were food shops offering noodles, congee and fried dumplings around that open early at 7am. You can also make your way to the local market near the gate. You could also go up the South Gate for free to catch the sunrise or sunset view. Touring around Dali If you can comms in Chinese, you could message the owner ahead to assist to arrange for a car transfer from Dali Fengyi Airport or the Dali Railway station to the BnB. It cost RMB50 for us from the Railway station to the BnB. You could also arrange with him for a day driver to take you around the sight seeing places around Dali /Erhai Lake, Mt Cang or a driver to send you to Lijiang. We felt was more efficient and relaxing with an elder. It took ~3h drive instead of travelling south to the Dali train station to ride the train to Lijiang and finding a cab from Lijiang railway to the old Lijiang ancient city. You could also easily catch a Didi or a cab which could be cheaper. A cab/car ride to the 3 Chong Sen Temple pagodas was about 10rmb for 3-4pax which is comparable to waiting for Bus 4 which cost 3rmb per pax.
