Very good hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. We like it a lot

One of the most relaxing places I've ever been. So tranquil and pretty. We had a room overlooking the lily pads... so pretty and peaceful. The decor is amazing. So well thought out and spotlessly clean. Only downside is the very very small bathtub which was not big enough for my husband's 6ft 2 frame!!! Massages were exceptional and just what the Dr ordered! Food great at the restaurant both nights we ate there. Pool area is lovely although I'd say more lighting around the pool when it gets dark. I appreciate it is a haven for nature, however for the poor sighted person it makes life difficult! We were able to use the bicycles free of charge and it is not too far to cycle to the village. We also had a scooter on day 2 which the hotel arranged for us and this was a minimal cost. They kept our bags for us when we checked out so we could explore on our second day and we were able to use the restaurant when we got back and settle up the bill much later in the day! Service amazing. We really can't fault anything and would come back in a heartbeat.

This is a vacation area! The majority of visitors are transported from the resort to their daily adventures or activities. I had a pre-planned guide and driver throughout my entire two week experience in Thailand in Vietnam. Just for me through Audley Travel I recommend them 150% very impressive. I was traveling on a 2-week vacation through Vietnam and Thailand! Very beautiful and serene hearing the rain fall on the flowers bushes and trees was so peaceful. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom had amenities. No TV that is clearly not needed for the environment. I spent my entire trip on adventurous excursions so not much time in my room. Buffet styles, many choices to choose from, fruits, salads meats, cheese etc. everything was freshly prepared and set out every morning.

We stayed at the Tam Coc garden hotel for 4 nights. The hotel is wonderful. The scenery and landscaping around the hotel are beautiful, being located within the Tam Coc UNESCO world heritage site. The limestone mountains are truly a sight to behold and you can’t help but steal glances at the wonderful views from the hotel. The food is excellent. We usually avoid hotel restaurants for dinner more often choosing to eat locally, but the chef at Tam Coc Garden is clearly talented. The menu is a blend of Vietnamese and pan-Asian dishes: it’s well worth visiting for at least one evening meal, before venturing out into Tam Coc itself. Breakfast is very good and the produce of extremely high quality, with the hollandaise for the Eggs Benedict standing out as especially authentic. The bartender at Tam Coc Garden deserves very high praise as well - his Mai Tai would rank very well against the best bars in London or New York. He was also unfailingly cheerful. The hotel is very beautiful, but the staff do make this resort. Everyone we interacted with was kind and helpful, from the reception team down. The hotel organised complicated excursions around Ninh Binh for us with a wonderful and knowledgable local guide (Juan) which we were grateful to them for. Chi working within the reception team really stood out and was especially kind. He went beyond the call of duty to make our stay memorable. In short, I wouldn’t hesitate to return. If you are visiting Ninh Binh and this is within budget and available, I’d look no further.

This is such a beautiful place with attention to detail and design, whereas the design fits the Vietnamese culture. What an enjoyable place to be. All the houses carefully created with every luxury you need, and yes no television but the area is sooo beautiful using a Television means your not aware of your surroundings. The free Bike service also made us to travel and see the beautiful area of Ninh Binh. We dit use the bike for a full day and wow that was a good experience. Great food at the hotel but similarly in the local village. All in all definitely can recommend this hide away.
