First of all this hotel is very strict about 2 pm checkin . so kindly plan you arrival accordingly i slept in lobby sofa for 5-6 hours since i was badly tired after a long journey. This is not the case with other hotel since i had many friends in ho chi min at that time in other hotels like rex, renaissance etc. This hotel was suggested by ASEAN ceramic exhibitors i Dont know why. May be because of its historical significance. Rooms Lobby carpets have that mild stinking smell. Rooms are very basic nothing special for the type of money charged. Gym was basic. For some reason mostly old age westerners come and stay here. Western Breakfast is the best thing this hotel offer.

Very good and clean hotel. I had a room on the back side of the building, and it was very quiet for sleeping. Breakfast was very good and a large selection for all nationalities

Fantastic location, very good staff, clean rooms. Rooms a bit small (but fine). Only real complaint is that the lighting in the hallway inside the room (where safe and closets are) is very dim. Otherwise, very good. Breakfast buffet is the best I’ve had in SE Asia at similarly priced hotels. Rooftop bar is great view, but I’d skip it otherwise since food is sub par and drinks are very expensive. Better options across the street. Overall, great value for the money. Highly recommend and we will stay here again on our next visit.

Great location and polite staff but old facilities and not many breakfast varieties.

Location ok, staff service is good. However there are only 1 power point in the room, so it’s very inconvenient as we have to use it for charging phone, for computer and boiling water. Very important point that hotel need to solve.

Great location in district 1 , very close to the river and many other interesting areas .

They only gave me one key card, I requested another one, i misplaced it in the office, I have to pay vnd100000. The gym was dirty, no AC at 11am and equipment were old and broken.

Charming Stay at Hotel Grand Saigon I had a wonderful stay at Hotel Grand Saigon! The hotel has a classic charm with beautiful colonial architecture, and the location is excellent, right in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City. My room was spacious, clean, and comfortable, with a great view of the city. The rooftop bar and pool area were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.. While the service was generally good, there were a few moments of slight delays. However, overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend it for anyone visiting Saigon!

Very well located, it was surely a very luxurious hotel but the rooms needs a refreshment. Off course they need to keep the french colonial style, but with the damaged tapestry it has lost his splendid. Also the hotel historical entrance is closed and there is no sign to mention the new entrance so it gives a first impression of closed business. Staff is very friendly and the swimming pool is amazing.
