Location was great!

We picked this hotel due to its location. There’s no doubt coz everything - good restaurants, salon, pharmacy, etc are all so nearby. We were greeted and welcomed by Jenny. Jenny took time to brief through their services, quick introduction of what’s in the vicinity etc before bringing us to our room. I was impatient coz I cld not wait to check out the room. But one would appreciate such efforts from a boutique hotel. Room and toilet sizes are ok. We were told this hotel has the most decent sizes which is true and also the reason why we hv shortlisted this hotel. But we were disappointed that the furnishings were so dated. Orientation of the room is weird that we need to figure out how to place our luggages, etc. And the family room has no side table for us to eat in. The 2 big beds were the only bonus. We were delighted with a smart TV but could not access TV channels for 3 nights out of 5 nights booked. We only reported on the 3rd day am. Thereafter, Jenny, Jimmy and the team made conscious efforts to remediate and update the issue. Breakfast selection is decent with daily changes of desserts or sweets. We love the home made Yogurt. The food standard is slightly above average when compared to 4-5 stars hotel. Sky bar menu is not bad, and the staffs were superb friendly. Overall, the service from this hotel is excellent. Special mention to Jenny and Jimmy for their outstanding hospitality and sincerity. We hope to visit this place again after it’s renovated.

La Nueva is a cozy little hotel perfectly located in central Hanoi, a short walk to most of the important sites. Staff was very helpful, rooms were clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely stay here at the hotel. Centrally located so easy access to local sights and restaurants. Friendly and helpful service from arrival to departure. Will recommend and stay again!

Everyone in the hotel made us felt at home. We were given all the support eg. Excursion arrangements and recommendations. Total peace of mind.

Didn't get a chance to try the breakfast as we had to leave very early for Sapa. We asked if the hotel could pack a breakfast for us and we got a basic pack of bread, jam, butter, some fruits, yoghurt and a cup of vietnamese coffee. The manager Jimmy was very helpful in providing tips and answers to the usual travellers' questions.

Score 11/10! Very good experience that over my expectation! The most impressive part of the whole stay would be the sincere service from the front desk! From the very beginning their service would surprised you~ the Doorman welcomes you with a very good smile and help you deal with luggages. Welcome drinks serve while waiting for the check-in. After that a very handsome front-desk officer--Yu, help us introduce nearly every attraction of Ha Noi and famous restaurants as well. Sincerely thanks to Yu's kindness and assistance(also free room upgrade~). Also the infrastructure of the hotel is satisflying, from the roof bar, you can see the sword lake and also the most central view of old quarter. Breakfast with nearly 5-star standards. Highly recommend for tourists visiting old quarter!

Great experience at La nueva boutique hotel. Especially thanks to the wonderful staff: Jenny and Jimmy. There were helping me before the trip ( booking for example the pickup at the airport), during ( booking a day trip to Nihn bihn and answering all questions ) and even afterwards ( keeping our luggage during our cruise in Lan ha bay after having done the check out ). We stayed too during the tet festival and it was great the new year eve dinner and the fireworks from the rooftop. Views were super from there. The room was fine, maybe not too big but the beds were most comfortable. Totally recommend it and would come back. It was only 5 min walking to the lake. Easy place too to be picked up for excursions.

We had a short but pleasant stay. Arriving around 3 AM, two employees quickly accommodated us. Despite its small size, the hotel boasts a great location, and the staff are incredibly cheerful and friendly. Surprisingly, the breakfast exceeded our expectations, rivaling that of some 5-star hotels in Hanoi. I would definitely return and plan to stay longer next time.
