AAhadGermanRoom was spacious and comfortable, although sound insulation of walls, doors, and windows was not enough to prevent noise from neighbours or hallway and street even on 40th floor. Amenities are good and practical. Swimming pool and gym are great. Location is also very good. Service is variable. Staff is very friendly and responsible, but they need to pay a little more attention to simple English skills. However, breakfast and generally, foods in restaurant were not satisfactory enough. Western and international food is just a name. You can't really taste German Wurst or Italian pizza! The continental food, especially western breakfast, is quite ordinary, I'm talking about flavours and tastes, not quantity. It's not very eye-catching and for a five-star hotel as you would expect. Although, overall I recommend hotel.

- response time at reception for a a keycard replacement was slow
- you can see that the corners in the rooms and bar are not thorough cleaned and that although it’s a fairly new hotel, it already looks a little run down here and there
- in one of two rooms has been smoked before, although it’s a nonsmoking floor
- waiter at breakfast argued that the water will cool down when I asked for cold water and he brought hot, instead of bringing cold water when I asked. After further arguing he finally brought a cup of cold water.
- hotel cannot issue an invoice or fapiao so you have to go via Ctrip, which is an additional annoying step
Positive:
- got a WeChat contact who spoke English and was very helpful and asked if I want to change the room with the smoke smell
- breakfast is great
- elevators are arriving fast
- view is great
Have not tried the pool or gym.

UUtente ospiteThis was my first time staying at a Mercure hotel and I was not disappointed. This new hotel opened in April. I usually stay at less expensive hotels but I was attending a festival at Luogang Central Park and wanted to find accommodations nearby. It was a short walk from the hotel door to the festival gates. I could see the stages from my room.
The service at the hotel was the best that I have ever encountered. I was immediately greeted by the guest services agents. Sally, the front office manager, assisted me as I checked in. She speaks excellent English. Sally assisted me by entering the hotel address and room number into *******. The food was delivered to my room by robot. Sally and the staff at the front desk made sure that everything about my stay was as perfect as it could be. On day two, I ordered ******* again. The food never arrived. As I do not know any Chinese, Sally helped me by talking to the vendor and delivery driver. She spent two days (even after I had checked out and gone home) to make sure that I got a full refund from *******. For some reason, I could not rent a phone charger from the machine in the lobby (that is a problem on my end not a problem with the machine). One of the guest services agents on duty rented the charger for me and I paid her when I returned the charger.
My room was beautiful! I had a corner room with windows on two sides. I enjoyed a long soak in the tub each day. The toilet came with a remote control that I translated. There were a few minor things about the room that could be improved. 1. The refrigerator was stocked with free beverages. However, there were no sugar free sodas. The water bottles are smaller than what I am used to and there were only two bottles of regular drinking water in the room. The maid and front desk were happy to supply me with more when asked. 2. The telephone sits on the bedside table that is in the far corner of the room. You have to walk around the bed to reach it. The phone would be more accessible on the side of the bed closer to the sitting area. I don't usually use the hotel phone but you do get a call when the robot comes to your door. 3. To open and close the curtains, you press the button next to the bed. The corner room has large windows on both walls. There is no way to only open the curtain on one side of the room. The morning sun was too strong from one window so I used a chair to prop open the curtains on the other window. 4. There is a lack of foreign programming on the television. Other hotel chains that I use have a free English movie station like HBO or Cine-Max. I travel with a USB stick that has some movies saved on it in case the hotel does not offer such programming. However, the original TV remote is not supplied in the room and there is no way to change the TV input from their satellite box to the USB port. I did not have my laptop with me. I inquired with Sally at the front desk but there was nothing that she could do. There was an option to order pay per view movies. 5. The next problem is my error. I put the paper do not disturb sign on the door. I did not realize that there was also a button on the light switch that turns on a green light outside of the door when you want the room cleaned. I accidentally turned on the light. The maid walked in on me without knocking first. She was very kind and apologetic.
I did not use all hotel amenities. I did enjoy the wine, coffee, and snacks in the front lobby. I also ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant each day. There was a nice variety on the breakfast buffet that changed daily. I found the laundry room to be clean and comfortable with a small sitting area. It is located near the fitness room and restaurant.
I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again if I am in the area. The small issues that I mentioned above are just minor inconveniences and nothing that can't be corrected or worked around. Based on my stay here, I would also try other Mercure hotels when traveling.

UUtente ospiteHo soggiornato recentemente in questo bel hotel, è stata la mia prima volta a Hefei, e anche se sono un straniero che non parla cinese non c'è stato alcun problema grazie al personale sorprendente. Sono stati molto pazienti quando usavano app di traduzione per comunicare con e si sono davvero occupati di me. Mi hanno aiutato con molte questioni personali e mi hanno mostrato il modo intorno alla città. Mi sono sentito molto benvenuto e sicuro con loro. Mi hanno anche portato all'aeroporto per ottenere il mio bagaglio perso. Vorrei citare soprattutto ho, uno dei ricevitori, che mi ha assicurato che non mi avessi lasciato il cibo e che mi sono confortata e che era molto gentile con me, mi sentivo molto a posto. E non importa quante richieste personali ho fatto, non ha mai esitato a offrire aiuto e a risolvere tutti i miei problemi. Ho avuto una fantastica esperienza all'Atour Hotel, è molto pulito, molto confortevole e l'atmosfera è molto amichevole e accogliente. In futuro tornerò certamente lì. Se qualcuno sta pensando dove stare a Hefei, questo è il posto perfetto. Non si sentirà mai malato! Mi sentivo a casa in questo incredibile hotel!

QQueen TeeL'hotel era molto pulito e la camera era confortevole per un soggiorno notturno. Io e il mio amico abbiamo una camera che viene con un pacchetto di pranzo e colazione. Tutti i pasti e il colazione erano come il 98% degli stessi pasti e mi sono davvero divertito. It’s Chinese cuisine. I’d really enjoy the chaofan (fried rice) and chaomian (fried noodles). I’d highly suggest they keep the entrance clean as it was dirty and there were lot of papers and other trash on the ground. But besides that I give it a 8/10

Le camere sono spaziose, pulite, tempeste e bellissime con letti comodi. Ci sono sempre bevande d'acqua e bevande fredde nella stanza gratuita, e la vista è spettacolare con la montagna e il lago da vedere da diversi angoli. Purtroppo la piscina aveva acqua, ma non potevamo nuotare perché dissero che era fuori stagione e non è stato pulito di recente. Vorrei che permettessero tutto la stagione di nuotare. Il cibo era assolutamente delizioso e le porzioni erano grandi. Anche loro erano molto accoglienti con latte/cappucino gratuito. Per coloro che desiderano prendere, purtroppo non può essere consegnato - l'hotel è troppo lontano dalla città per le consegne. Tuttavia, c'è un piccolo negozio di camion vicino all'hotel. La zona circostante l'hotel è fantastica; la natura è fantastica, l'ingresso al picco della montagna è anche molto vicino con un parco divertente e tutti i tipi di attività. I miei consigli sono di andare in autunno, perché molti posti erano piuttosto tranquilli e non così spettacolari come si aspettavano, perché solo in autunno è davvero fiorito. Ci sono molte cose da vedere e fare, ma queste cose non sono a piedi da l'hotel. Abbiamo avuto un piccolo problema trovare il taxi (forse perché era durante la vacanza di giardino) e il personale ci ha aiutato anche a questo proposito. La città circa 30-40 minuti di auto dall'hotel aveva così tante attrazioni e ristoranti meravigliosi. Si può anche vivere la vita reale del villaggio. Tutto e tutto ciò che posso certamente raccomandare una visita e, se possibile, io andrò di nuovo! L'intera zona è certamente una delle gioielli di Hefei.

UUtente ospiteFor any hotel location is the key, and although this is located right by the amusement park and water park and chao lake. It doesn’t have good directions or take good care of the walkways to allow people to walk unhindered. A shuttle bus to local spots should be provided. Breakfast which they provided had a ton of options but all of them subpar. If they had only a few things but made well and delicious it would be much better. The air conditioner was the worst. It pushed out humid air and rarely cool enough to drop the room temperature. All over the hotel they have ads for their restaurant but when we asked about it, it was closed. If something is not available, you should not be advertising it. Considered false advertisement. If due to your false advertising I have to go somewhere else for dinner, you should at least pay for the cab fare.
Based on the hotel and the number of guests I saw I’m pretty sure you’re only putting guests in floor 8 and possibly floor 9. If that’s the case then each room should be meticulously cleaned. Ours didn’t have soap in the dispenser and was missing the conditioner completely. We were in a no smoking room, there was still a “do not smoke in bed” resin sign. Which was extremely dirty like no one’s cleaned it in weeks if not months.
There’s a cute robot you send up to deliver things. But it doesn’t know to wait for people to get off the elevator before getting on, causing a family of 4 with their luggage to be partly trapped by the robot for a few minutes.
I’ve had the opportunity to talk to a number of the staff and can see the lower occupancy and time has affected this establishment. But you can still do better.
