Hotel in zona Tynecastle Treats and Sweets, Edimburgo

Quindi... dove iniziare.. Check-in e è stato dato Camera 100.. Camera 100 è sul pavimento proprio vicino alla ricezione e con una finestra che guarda la strada principale.. Se ti piace il rumore costante delle porte che si muove, ascoltare i grandi gruppi che parlano nella zona di ricezione e il rumore costante tutta la notte, allora questa è la stanza per te ... Se ti piace dormire una bella notte, allora penso sinceramente a trovare una migliore hotel (ci sono molte altre opzioni grandi nella zona!).. È opportuno notare che il WiFi funziona in ricezione, ma non si estende nemmeno alla stanza 100 che è a circa 15 piedi dal principale ricevimento!! Non un grande soggiorno ... Non più !!

L'hotel effettua il check-in solo alle 16:00. solo alle 16:00... molti ospiti arrivano di giorno e aspettano a lungo per il check-in..... lunga lunga coda. Il personale mi ha dato una stanza sbagliata senza finestre, molto stretta, alla quale ho prenotato una camera singola standard con letto matrimoniale. la stanza senza finestre, senza wifi, senza rete... e sembra che non riesca a respirare nella stanza... e devo tornare di nuovo nella lobby..... la scheda della porta non è così buona... Devo andare alla reception per attivare la carta tutti i giorni... sì. .. ogni giorno... ad un certo punto, ho scoperto che quando ho provato ad aprire la porta della mia stanza... ma non ci sono riuscito... e devo tornare di nuovo nella hall.... è abbastanza fastidioso. La posizione è OK. con autobus per l'aeroporto e la stazione dei tram e degli autobus nelle vicinanze. La colazione è buona, con molta scelta. Il cibo è lo stesso ogni giorno.

Ingresso gratuito. La stanza è molto semplice e di base e avrà quello che avete bisogno per il vostro soggiorno (meno i gel di doccia e lo shampoo e la spazzatura). Perfetto se rimani nella vostra stanza solo per dormire dopo un lungo giorno di affaticamento di tour. La posizione è perfetta e molto conveniente. Vicino a fermate tram e autobus. Camminando alla maggior parte delle attrazioni della città. Ci sono stati un grande soggiorno e una vista ancora più bella del castello di Edimburgo ogni notte dalla stanza dell'hotel. Abbiamo due bagagli di dimensioni medie e si è trasferito un po' intorno alla stanza, ma in generale, si consiglia e resta in hotel.

Avete avuto un ottimo soggiorno qui! Ci sono stati 10 di noi che hanno prenotato un dormitorio. Era tranquillo, pulito e buona qualità. Ci sono due bagni e due toletta per dormitorio che pensavo fosse molto buona. La nostra camera non era pronta per un'altra mezz'ora, quindi ci hanno dato dei sigilli gratis per il bar! La ragione per cui questo non ottiene 5 stelle è perché era terribile nella stanza - anche con la finestra aperta! Non sembrava essere con l'aria con - ci chiedevamo anche se l'ostello aveva messo il riscaldamento? Il bar dell'hotel aveva cibo decente ma aspettava molto.

Ho avuto un bel tempo all'hotel ”The Scholar” e non potevo essere più soddisfatto dell'esperienza generale. In primo luogo, il servizio era eccezionale. Il personale era incredibilmente benvenuto e sempre pronto a assistere, assicurandosi un soggiorno confortevole e piacevole. Le strutture dell'hotel sono state impressionanti. Le camere sono spaziose, decorate in modo elegante e offrono un comfort di top-notch. Il bagno pulito e ben attrezzato, insieme alle moderne strutture, è stato aggiunto all'attrazione generale. Inoltre, le strutture ricreative come la palestra e la piscina hanno arricchito l'intera permanenza, rendendola più soddisfacente e piacevole. Uno dei punti di vista è stato l'esperienza di mangiare. Il colazione ha offerto una varietà di opzioni di alta qualità. Mi sono particolarmente gradito i piatti di firma, che erano deliziosi e memorabili. Il personale del ristorante ha mostrato professionalità e amicizia, migliorando l'esperienza di mangiare. In conclusione, consiglio molto l'hotel ”The Scholar”. È una scelta memorabile, sia per l'attività che per il tempo libero. Guardando in attesa di tornare e rilassare l'alloggio caldo e di alta qualità di nuovo.

Hotel is actually much nicer and brighter than the photos on the website suggest. Reception was pretty much none existent and the shower was no more than a trickle. On the plus side, good value for money and great location yo walk into the city centre. The option of breakfast would have been good although the excellent Wee Cafe just up the road did an excellent eggs benidict which more than made up for it. I will definitely stay again mainly due to the location

We stayed for 2 nights at Pillars House. Edna and Craig were very responsive to emails ahead of our stay and even though there wasn't a hot breakfast, I appreciated the well stocked fridge and pantry complete with Irn Bru. The room had every necessity, including a hair dryer. We had a room on the second floor in the back, which was very quiet overall. There is no elevator, so if you need that, you may want to inquire about a ground floor room. The location is great- very convenient to the tram line which will take you toward Ocean Terminal (to see the Royal Yacht Britannia) or down to the city center with convenient stops at Princes Street and St Andrew Square. It's maybe 60 minutes from the airport via the tram (use the Foot of the Walk stop). Coming from the US with an early arrival (meaning middle of the night for us!), I appreciated the 10AM check in time. It can be quite a drag (sometimes literally) when you can't check in until the afternoon after a long overnight flight. Thank you Edna and Craig!

Marriot Edinburgh West è veramente una bellezza da vedere,dalla zona circostante, dall'ingresso, ricettore, zona di attesa agli ascensori, e soprattutto, la vista del vetro dalla stanza dove si vede una vista grande della zona, È come nei film, certamente una visita la prossima volta.L'unica cosa che deve fare è la doccia, non è davvero piacevole, che dovrebbe essere gestita per favore.Oltre a che sia un bel hotel e una casa lontana da casa, considerato un posto lontano

The overall experience was alright but not highly satisfied. I chose the hotel because we hope to stay in the Mansion with long history and heritage that hopefully make our family journey more enjoyable. Before we go, I searched for the comment on websites and found some travellers give bad comments e.g. small bathroom with mold, dusty table and floor mat, etc. Thanks for providing these honest comment so I reduce my own expectation a little bit. When we enter the hotel room, warm welcome received from hotel staff. We arrived at 15pm and thought we can have some teatime in the hotel but sadly we were told teatime must be book 24hrs in advance. They can serve us scones and tea instead. Then we went to our the double bed room 14sq.m one and it does look small, especially the toilet is small like a hostel or affordable stay instead of a hotel room charging gbp170 a night which we have expected it should be more than that. The sink was so small, have to wash hands really carefully otherwise water will be spitted everywhere. The tea corner, the alarm, the window were dusty, The cup and spoon were not clean properly. Despite all these, The bed was fine and comfy. The hotel building itself is historical and beautiful, with multiple dining rooms serving lunch, tea, dinner. Bar service serving drinks, large library, board games available for kids, very spacious greenfield and beautiful rose garden. Morning breakfast 8-10am is a self-service one and the food were hot and fresh. In overall, the beautiful nature surrounded and the historical building itself make the whole experience happy, but the hotel service and hygiene level do recommend for improvement.
