Hotel in zona Tattoo ticket, Edimburgo

Poiché non abbiamo prenotato un biglietto ferroviario per Edimburgo a Londra, abbiamo deciso di trasferirci a York. Non abbiamo la possibilità di sentire il vento dell'hotel. La prossima volta abbiamo la possibilità di provare di nuovo.Tuttavia, so che la posizione del negozio dovrebbe essere molto buona, che è il centro dello stile di vita di Edimburgo.

ABBIAMO SOGGIORNATO IN QUESTO ALBERGO 4 GIORNI APPENA ENTRATI C'ERA FREDDO AVEVAMO IL CONDIZIONATORE ROTTO AVVISATO SUBITO LA RECEPTION E CI E STATO DATA SUBITO UNA STUFA ELETTRICA CHE ABBIAMO SEMPRE UTILIZZATO E SIAMO STATI BENISSIMO. PER QUANTO RIGUARDA LA COLAZIONE NOI NON NE ABBIAMO USUFRUITO IN QUANTO ALL'ESTERO SONO MOLTO CARE, PERO LA CAMERA ERA DOTATA SIA DI BOLLITORE CHE DI FRIGORIFERO E QUINDI NON E STATO UN PROBLEMA ANZI FARE COLAZIONE IN CAMERA PER NOI E STATO MEGLIO. LE PULIZIE ERANO OTTIME, UNICA COSA SE ALLA RECEPTION CI FOSSE STATA UNA PERSONA A SAPERE L'ITALIANO SAREBBE STATO MEGLIO.

The location is good and the room is reasonably sized but the design of the room is not to my liking. The toilet is completely separated from the rest of the washroom which has happened before but the toilet room does not have a hand basin to wash your hands and the two areas are inconveniently located so it could be a problem stumbling at night. The room was clean when we checked in but our room was cleaned the next day except for the washroom for some reason. Reported to front desk but no explanation really. Saw a fan in the closet so the hotel may not have A/C whinch happens in hotels in Europe sometimes. Check that if you are coming in the summer.

Hotel MERAVIGLIOSO, fortunati ad avere la stanza vista castello, centralissimo ed un personale di una gentilezza smisurata ! Io e la mia compagna avevamo qualche timore visto l’inglese, ma fortunatamente abbiamo incontrato anche tanti italiani all’interno della struttura. Davvero piacevolmente sorpresi dall’hotel e da quello che ha da offrire specialmente in questo momento particolare di ristrettezze e complicazioni. Purtroppo non ricordiamo il nome di tutti i dipendenti ma facciamo un grande saluto ad Elena, Marco e Damian che hanno intrattenuto le nostre splendide colazioni. Torneremo presto !

Stayed here recently during our trip to Edinburgh. The hotel has a great location with walking distance to most of the places. However, it was disappointing that our room basically had no wifi connection and also very weak signal when we had to turn our personal data on. The bathroom was not fully cleaned, with rubbish in the bin left by previous guests. The receptionists couldn’t careless about your struggles with making yourself comfortable at their hotel. The room was extremely tiny, and I wouldn’t say “you got what you paid for” because the weekend room rate here was over three times (£170) as their week day rate (£50). It’s just crazy how much we paid vs. how minimum of the service we received here…

Lo scenario fuori dalla finestra è molto bello e affascinante. Puoi vedere il tramonto da un'ottima posizione. La mia stanza ha tre finestre e le finestre non sono molto insonorizzate, quindi potrebbe essere un po' rumorosa, ma non ci sono macchine. notte, sono relativamente tranquille, quindi è abbastanza grande al momento del check-in. La cosa principale è che la stanza è molto grande e le cose e le strutture all'interno sono molto complete. È molto comodo soggiornare e il letto è molto comodo Ci tornerò la prossima volta. Ed è molto vicino ai trasporti.

La stanza è grande, puoi comprare acqua e cibo da Tesco dall'altra parte della strada e il pasto fisso KFC dall'altra parte della strada costa circa 8 sterline. Camminando 100 metri verso est c'è il tram. Il biglietto giornaliero costa 5 sterline e il biglietto di sola andata costa 2 sterline. Puoi acquistarlo strisciando una carta di credito o inserendo una carta. Andare all'aeroporto è leggermente più costoso, costa 7,5 sterline solo andata, indipendentemente dalla distanza. Proprio come all'Ibis Novotel di Londra, non è possibile lavare i panni, ma solo consegnarli al fattorino della lavanderia APP per ritirarli. Questa impostazione è davvero strana. Faccio ancora lavare i miei vestiti all'Hilton. Edimburgo non è grande e praticamente puoi visitarla in un giorno. Scendi a Princes Street e visita il National Museum and Art Gallery of Scotland e il Museum of Modern Art. Il resto dei punti di riferimento sono tutti insieme e puoi praticamente passeggiare loro C'è l'India vicino alla Biblioteca Nazionale, ristoranti italiani e cinesi del Sichuan. Un singolo ordine costa circa 12 sterline.

The overall experience was alright but not highly satisfied. I chose the hotel because we hope to stay in the Mansion with long history and heritage that hopefully make our family journey more enjoyable. Before we go, I searched for the comment on websites and found some travellers give bad comments e.g. small bathroom with mold, dusty table and floor mat, etc. Thanks for providing these honest comment so I reduce my own expectation a little bit. When we enter the hotel room, warm welcome received from hotel staff. We arrived at 15pm and thought we can have some teatime in the hotel but sadly we were told teatime must be book 24hrs in advance. They can serve us scones and tea instead. Then we went to our the double bed room 14sq.m one and it does look small, especially the toilet is small like a hostel or affordable stay instead of a hotel room charging gbp170 a night which we have expected it should be more than that. The sink was so small, have to wash hands really carefully otherwise water will be spitted everywhere. The tea corner, the alarm, the window were dusty, The cup and spoon were not clean properly. Despite all these, The bed was fine and comfy. The hotel building itself is historical and beautiful, with multiple dining rooms serving lunch, tea, dinner. Bar service serving drinks, large library, board games available for kids, very spacious greenfield and beautiful rose garden. Morning breakfast 8-10am is a self-service one and the food were hot and fresh. In overall, the beautiful nature surrounded and the historical building itself make the whole experience happy, but the hotel service and hygiene level do recommend for improvement.

Pernottamento per trasferta di lavoro. Ottima vista sui ponti di Edimburgo. Un ' fuori mano per giro turistico. Camera ampia, colazione ricca. Ristorante un po' sottotono e poco Scottish. La sera ci siamo concessi passeggiata su ponte per il quale esistono interdetto transito con autoveicoli. Particolarmente suggestiva la vista notturna e al tramonto.

È un hotel molto bello come un hotel IHG gruppo si può essere assicurati sulla qualità . Il personale è davvero bello e amichevole . Quando sono arrivato mi è stato dato una camera gemella mentre prenotavo un doppio . Non la loro colpa, ma il partner di viaggio . Com. Nessun altro doppio disponibile, quindi li ho chiesto di mettere insieme due letti singoli, così non caderò a notte . Lol. Erano morti carini e lo hanno fatto per me. Bello ambiente non lontano dalla stazione ferroviaria vicina. Defo andrà di nuovo lì per rimanere
