Staff was great and were helpful. They had hot Pu'er tea, milk tea, and rose tea at the lobby. Suggest requesting first floor for older folks because there is no elevator. 7 min walk to Dali Ancient City, 3 min walk out to a main street where a ton of food street vendors set up in the evening.

The direction to the hotel is rather a bit confusing but the location is close by to many eateries and not far from ancient town. The room was spacious and relatively clean. Would recommend.

The hotel is at a quiet corner but within 10 minutes walking distance to the South Gate of the Old Town with plenty of eateries around. The rooms are clean and spacious, although not much of a view. The hospitality is exceptional. The warmth and the sincerity can be felt! They are very prompt in all my enquiries, and welcoming our arrival with all the necessary details. Highly recommended!

The place is walking distance to old town and it’s convenient, food street just around the corner. The staff are friendly n upgrade our room to mountain view room. We have a pleasant stay in Dali and will revisit if we going to Dali again.

Staffs are very helpful. Location is near to the Dali Ancient Town, room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast also quite nice.

Room is spacious and pretty clean, minor wear and tear in the rooms but overall, still a great place to stay. For location, the hotel is close to the 古城 but away from all the noise so it’s good for a place to rest. There are a couple of food options and convenient stores nearby as well so no issue with lack of food. I would gladly stay here again if I came back.

Nice location just outside Dali old city wall. You can didi to the nearby coach station to proceed by small coaches to Lijiang. Service by reception girls was excellent. Son had diarrhoea and the girl ordered 美团to deliver medicine to our hotel at 1am (she was already resting in her hostel). Suggestion: for breakfast, rather than offer plain white bread and hard boiled egg, you can offer egg sandwich (mash the egg mixed with salt pepper mayo) & spread it on white bread.

We booked 2 rooms and had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is excellent, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The cleanliness of the rooms and common areas was impressive, contributing to a very comfortable experience. The reception staff were incredibly helpful, always ready to assist with a smile, and the check-in process was smooth and efficient. Highly recommend this hotel for both leisure and business travelers!

My family and I had a good and comfortable stay at Hmyway Hotel which was located within walking distance to the Ancient City area. One of the staff (her name is Mantou) was very helpful in suggesting how we could get around the places we wanted to visit. She also recommended restaurants for our lunch and dinner and even walked with us to one of the restaurants for our dinner. Would recommend this place for travellers to Dali.

Excellent service especially from 馒头. Patiently and sincerely answered questions. Had some prices from different tour packages and she offered to compare prices with their partners. Did not feel like she was forcefully upselling. 小猴was good too. Took up the one day Erhai 包车with 郑师傅. He was good so we engaged him to bring us to Lijiang the following day. Room for improvement for cleanliness as toilet was a bit mouldy and hair dryer dusty.
