Se non si utilizza un mezzo privato per raggiungere l'ostello e si usa l'autobus pubblico, scendere sulla strada principale. Chiamare in anticipo per far venire il personale alla fermata dell'autobus, altrimenti sarà una lunga camminata di 1,5 km e non è consigliabile camminare durante una giornata buia o piovosa. La stanza è fantastica se si alloggia al piano inferiore. Non c'è ascensore, quindi sono tutte tramite scale. Io alloggio al piano 3 con un bagaglio grande, quindi immagina gli sforzi per portarlo su e giù. L'opzione per la cena è solo hotpot e per fortuna il pasto è ottimo. Il bar all'interno dell'ostello è buono, quindi provatelo. I punti in cui sorge l'alba sono buoni e facili da raggiungere, ma dipende dal meteo. Andate presto per un buon posto in cui sedervi e aspettare, dato che l'ostello ospiterà sempre un grande autobus turistico.

The room is spacious and comfortable. The view is stunning and check-in is easy. Breakfast is good with rice, porridge, and bread/bun. They help to bring the luggages from check-in counter to our room using a small lorry.

Located at the middle of Alishan. Quite environment with fresh air

The property is located off the Alishan highway and nestled within a tea plantation near Fushan. It is not anywhere near any amenities, nearest one is at Shizuo about 10+km away. Rooms are very clean and well kept, you can expect breathtaking views if you have a room with a balcony on the top floor, lower floors will have little or no view into the mountains. The area around the property is mainly tea plantations and farms, good for a short afternoon’s exploration before dinner.

The room is big, but cleanliness need to be improved, stain and mold found in the bathroom. Location is not really good, still need to drive about 40 minutes to reach Alishan. Less variety of breakfast.

Beautiful scenery and great views, clean rooms but the meals are average

The best homestay near Alishan area. The hosts are very welcoming and they always try their best to help as much as possible. The homestay is located in a tea and coffee farm. Scenery is great value for money and they also have their own sunrise trail. Located hear Fushan trail and 20 mins walk from Fushan bus stop.

Great location. The rooms are nice, big and clean and has a balcony that gives an amazing view of the mountain! Breakfast has a spread of foods that remind you of home-cooked food. They provide individual hotpots for dinner - great for the cold weather with fresh ingredients (although the soup is pretty bland). All in all a great stay 😊

The view from this hotel is awesome

The staff were very kind and friendly. We had to make some changes due to Typhoon, the hotel staff helped us move to a quieter room and arranged a transportation to a nearby station to catch a bus to go back to HSR Chiayi station. We are very grateful for the help. The hot pot dinner was wonderful!! Alishan National park area was closed because of Typhoon, but we could still enjoy the trails near the hotel.

It's located at the base of Alishan, so it will take about another 30mins to ride up to Alishan ticket entrance where one needs to take train to the inner forest. The breakfast is not fantastic (coffee is really bad). For dinner, you will be stuck at the hotel (unless self drive) so you will need to order their hotpot set (they only have that), and it is at least better than their breakfast. The hotpot set consisted of a hotpot, a portion of shabu-shabu pork slices, a portion of mixed vegs and rice was free. Tsingtao cost NT100/big bottle. The hotpot set goes by per pax, and is not shareable, cost NT390/set. We booked 2-double bed room with balcony. While the room was huge, the amenities were few, and the bathroom smelled a bit stinky and the area generally didn't feel clean. The bathroom had a bathtub which I didn't feel it was clean enough to take a soak (plus it was really cold). It'd have been much better if it's a standing shower area instead of a tub. All in, I would suggest to book elsewhere or to stay in a hotel right in Alishan to reduce traveling logistics.
