Io e la mia ragazza viaggiamo in Egitto e dopo essere stati informati dal nostro hotel originariamente prenotato che non era più disponibile (al momento dell'atterraggio al Cairo) abbiamo avuto l'ultima scelta di soggiornare all'hotel Cecilia da Booking.com. Fortunatamente il destino ha fatto le cose giuste!! Questa piccola hotel a Cairo, vicino al centro, musei, negozi, ristoranti, caffè in una zona molto sicura per andare in coppia o solo. Wi-Fi gratuita, aria condizionata e colazione con una bella terrazza dove passare la sera a bere qualcosa e incontrare nuove persone. La stanza era pulita e buona per 2 stelle hotel. Absolutamente raccomandato e ritornerà!

Wonderful place to stay. I don’t normally stay in hostels but this was perfect – the beds are comfortable, and the rooms are quiet despite in Cairo downtown, everything is a walking distance and local transportation. The owner and all employees were friendly, honest, and polite, especially Muthan at the front desk was exceptional. the hotel is not bad looking from the outside, but the inside is much different, also, you need to try the roof cafe with Cario around you. I had a great time meeting everyone and socializing, i really recommend this hotel.

Molto bello ostello per le condizioni egiziane. Servizio sensazionale, grande posizione per le linee di metropolitana nel centro e buona connessione a Giza. Molto utile personale, suggerisce come visitare bene. Ci sono diverse camere. 3-person mescolare così come le camere private con la propria camera da bagno anche per le famiglie intere. Raccomandato. Il prezzo è sensazionale, adatto per l'Egitto. Nella zona il posto migliore, anche se non l'unico, ovviamente.

This hostel has a good location and I would say that it is pretty walkable in the early morning and very late at night but the walking infrastructure is not the best in Cairo. Mid day the traffic makes it very tricky to walk around even though there are many good restaurants and attractions nearby. Finding it is a little tricky but it is down an alley that doesn't allow cards and it is located on floor 2 of an older building. There is an elevator but all doors and gates need to be closed in order for it to work and we found guests at the hostel weren't good at closing after themselves. The staff are very kind and welcoming but we got a bit hung up on the payment. We booked on Trip with the ”Pay at the Hotel” option for 3100 Egyptian pounds for three nights in a private room but they were asking for 3600 when we were checking in. After a little back and forth they let us check in and gave us the keys so we could rest and wait for the manager's answer. The manager said no to our booked rate, we were told we booked on Expedia and we now had to pay 3900 Egyptian pounds. I'm at a loss of words for this discrepancy between Trip and the hostel but there weren't better deals in the area we wanted to stay and we very reluctantly paid. The room was just a place to sleep with a box to the side where our shower and toilet were. The box had no ceiling or ventilation so there were smells throughout the room from the drains. The beds were comfy but were not completely clean when we arrived - there was hairs in the bed sheets. The room cleanliness overall could have been better. The area is quiet at night and we got a good night's rest to spend our days exploring Cairo. The breakfast was ok but there wasn't much room to eat in the common areas during our stay so we asked for breakfast in our room during our stay. We had a simple breakfast with a fried egg, cucumbers, tomatoes, cheese, banana, tea/coffee and Arabic bread. It is enough to get you through until lunch and is served starting at 8 pm. There is a convenience store close by that offers fairly priced snacks and drinks which you might want to seek out because they do not provide water at this hostel. We hope this property improves because it seems like it used to be really good and the location is good as well.

L'ambiente dell'hotel è buono, c'è un piano terrazzo per vedere il paesaggio urbano, la posizione geografica è buona, nel centro della città, il cibo intorno è molto conveniente, è molto adatto per il punto di cammino della città.L'acqua calda della stanza è sempre stata!!L'accento è sempre stato! Molte case del Cairo sono brucianti. L'ex uomo ha aspettato molto tempo dopo aver usato la sua casa, ma non era la sua casa.L'unica cosa che non sembrava abbastanza per la stanza non sembrava così pulita.Il servizio del fratello della reception è anche buono. Il mio amico ha anche aiutato l'aereo mattinale chiamando Uber.

Ich hatte kaum Zeit, diese Unterkunft zu bewerten. Das liegt daran, dass ich daran hänge und ich dachte, mein Text wäre lang. Jetzt habe ich endlich mal Zeit dafür. Im Folgenden schreibe ich meine Meinung als Backpacker-Mutter mit zwei Kindern. 1, Gastfreundschaft ist über den Preis hinausgeht.    2, Das gesamte Personal ist wunderbar. Es gibt kein Personal, das Kunden eine schlechte Laune macht, weder bei Kindern noch bei Erwachsenen. 3, Die Staffs sind großzügig und tolerant gegenüber ihren Gästen. Sie sind sehr bemüht, Kunden zu begeistern. 4, 24 Stunden täglich geöffnet. An dem Tag, an dem ich in Kairo ankam, hatte der Zug fünf Stunden Verspätung. Ich kam um 3 Uhr morgens im Hotel an und alles war in Ordnung, und das Personal war sehr aufmerksam. 5, Der Standort ist der beste. 6, Internetverbindung ist der Hammer. 7, Frühstück ist der Hammer 8, Die Klimaanlage funktioniert sehr gut. 9, Wäscheservice ist verfügbar. Die Gebühr wird pro Kleidungsstück berechnet. Ich wollte sie eigentlich selbst waschen, aber ich habe mich an die dortigen Regeln gehalten. Ich möchte, dass sie mit diesem Teil Geld verdienen. Aber bitte Waschmittel etwa weniger. 10, Wir blieben in einem Zimmer mit einer Gemeinschaftstoilette. Die Kinder und ich konnten die Toilette und die Dusche sauber und bequem benutzen. Ich sah die Professionalität des Personals, das aufrichtig und geschickt mit einigen der schlimmsten Gäste umging, die die Gemeinschaftsräume verschmutzten. 11, Ich war insgesamt einen Monat lang in Ägypten unterwegs und habe diese Unterkunft in Kairo für die letzten neun Tage genutzt. Wir waren auf einer anstrengenden Rucksacktour und ich schlug vor, die letzten zwei Tage in einem Fünf-Sterne-Hotel wie dem Grand Hyatt zu verbringen, um den Kindern eine Freude zu machen, aber sowohl mein 14-jähriger Sohn als auch meine 10-jährige Tochter sagten, dass sie das Freedom Hostel vorziehen würden. ★Einige Leute beschweren sich über das Fehlen von Auzug, aber bleiben solche Leute in einem Sternehotel, bitte. Als Rucksacktouristin bin ich eine Mutter vor 50 mit zwei aktiven Teenagers, der sich nicht über das Treppensteigen beschwert. Danke, dass Sie meinen Kindern so viele Erinnerungen an ihre letzte Kairo-Reise nach Ägypten geschenkt haben. Wir werden wieder kommen.

La nostra esperienza con l'ostello Meramee è stata piacevole. Ho visitato il Cairo con i miei genitori, quindi volevamo sentirci al sicuro e essere curati, considerando che il Cairo è una città così grande e piena. Il personale ha assicurato di avere tutto quello che ci serviva, ci ha aiutato con informazioni, con il trasporto aeroportuale e alcuni viaggi fuori dal Cairo. 10/10 per il personale! Non ci sentivamo pressionati a prenotare viaggi con loro, nemmeno avevamo un paio di giorni durante i quali abbiamo fatto il nostro programma, le viaggi organizzate da loro dove buono, informativo e amichevole. Grazie a Talek, il guidato che abbiamo avuto in Alexandria, e ovviamente grazie a Talat, il conducente che ci ha portati in tutte le nostre viaggi e dall'aeroporto. Per quanto riguarda l'alloggio, le camere dove sono belle, pulite con un decente AC e WiFi (considerando che siamo stati qui in luglio non lo avremmo fatto senza un AC). Abbiamo anche pulito le nostre camere (letti da letto, asciugamani, tutto), ma è necessario chiedere alla reception per questo. La colazione era davvero buona e grande! Non mi interessa l'edificio, c'è qualcuno che guarda sempre l'edificio vicino all'ascensore, quindi non mi sentivo in sicurezza o qualcosa del genere.Si', è un vecchio edificio, ma tutti gli edifici del centro sono gli stessi, quindi non aspettate un nuovo blocco di appartamenti. La parte più sorprendente è che si deve camminare solo 10 minuti per raggiungere il Museo egiziano e la Piazza Tahrir. Spero che vi piacerà il vostro soggiorno quanto abbiamo fatto!

Penso che questo hotel sia la mia casa nel Cairo. Il no.1 per tutti i 3 che ho soggiornato nel Cairo. L'hotel è molto vicino alla piazza Tahrir, negozi alimentari, fast food, negozi di caffè vicino. Anche io ho viaggiato altre città dell'Egitto continuo a tornare qui. Il personale è gentile, amichevole, affidabile e mi sento al sicuro in hotel.I punti principali che cerco sono pulizia, buoni letti confortevoli e doccia forte calda (non devi prendere tempo solo per fare doccia, l'acqua è forte). Il loro lavanderia è un po' più alto dell'albero precedente che ho soggiornato, ma la pulizia di punta e profumo davvero bello, si paga il prezzo giusto. Altri ostelli lavano i vostri vestiti all'interno dell'edificio, così non è asciutto e profuma come ”abbigliamento bagnato”. Forniscono asciugamani, sapone e carta tessuto.Rispetteranno la vostra privacy e vi assicurano un piacevole soggiorno. La stanza e il bagno sono bellissimi e puliti. Come immagine sulle foto del loro hotel 🙌 Chiedi domande che ti aiuteranno il più possibile. Mi aiuteranno anche con l'ordine di cibo coz alcuni driver non parlano inglese. Il piano terra per ascensore non sembra affascinante, ma è sicuro nell'hotel e il piano piano molto pulito. Questo è il centro del Cairo, quindi il rumore dalla strada sarà normale, ma l'hotel è un luogo tranquillo per soggiornare. Grazie, signor Rouf, e a tutti i dipendenti dell'Hotel Grand City 🙏.
