Hotel con colazione a Roma

Sono rimasto un po' deluso perché mi aspettavo che fosse più spaziosa e lussuosa, trattandosi di una camera executive. Le ho dato un punteggio standard di 3. Se ci fosse stato qualcosa di speciale, avrei dato 5. Pioveva, ma non c'era il servizio ombrello. Il caffè in camera era solubile. Risparmio? Non è affatto un punteggio negativo. L'ho trovato appropriato al prezzo. Non c'era il servizio di facchinaggio.

Pulizia, confort. Disponibilità al ceck in di notte dopo l'orario limite. Ottima colazione. Eccellente soggiorno.

Our stay at the Viminale View Hotel was an acceptable one - but we would unlikely return on a future visit to Rome. Arriving at the hotel in the early afternoon, we were pleased to be allowed to check in ahead of the published time (14:00hrs). The service was friendly and efficient and we were quickly shown to our room - that being a ‘deluxe’ room at the end of a corridor. Room number 1 was to be our home for four nights. The room was of a good size and well-equipped e.g. towels, tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge (with optional mini-bar), a television and a bathroom - with an excellent free standing bath tub in the centre of the bedroom. Perhaps my biggest gripe with the hotel was the disappointing view from the room. A ‘Viminale View’ it most certainly was not. Interestingly, room number 1 was the only room on the wrong side of the building. All others, including cheaper standard rooms, had the all-important Viminale view. In fact, not from anywhere in the hotel could we see the Viminale, since the reception area too was without any windows. Our two windows looked out onto a gutter on one side and an adjacent building on the other. We paid a little extra for breakfast, which was of a simple but acceptable standard. Given the size of the hotel with just 10 rooms, an extravagant buffet was not expected. More a continental selection, there was enough to keep us going until lunchtime. Cold meats, cheese, bread, pastries, yoghurts, toast etc, with scrambled egg and sausage available as hot options. Hot drinks were made on request. As a smaller establishment, this accommodation appeared only ever to be staffed by one person at a time, which somewhat impacted service. Once seated for breakfast, we were provided with a hot drink and then left to it. There was no opportunity to request further drinks, which was a little disappointing. And on one occasion, we watched as a guest had to go in search of a member of staff in order to get a cup of coffee. Perhaps in the mornings, especially with breakfast to provide and guests occasionally checking out, a second staff member would be beneficial. House-keeping was of a good standard but returning on our last night, we were keen to enjoy a coffee, only to find that our supplies had not been replenished and our cups were still dirty on the side. As a hotel unstaffed after 17:00hrs, it wasn’t a simple case of calling for some coffee, rather just going without. Whilst an enjoyable stay, the view from the room and the lack of hotel staff beyond 17:00hrs just didn’t work for us.

Il servizio da parte del personale era eccellente. Siamo sempre stati contenti che la nostra camera fosse pulita e avesse asciugamani freschi ogni giorno. Anche la scelta per la colazione era eccezionale. Due cose di cui non sono contento al 100% è stata l'assenza di aria condizionata nella stanza, che era scomoda di notte anche con 2 finestre aperte. Siamo venuti la prima settimana di aprile e faceva caldo. Anche l'inizio della colazione potrebbe essere prima, verso le 6:00, poiché in alcuni giorni del nostro soggiorno dovevamo lasciare l'hotel per attività intorno alle 6:00. Ma nel complesso direi comunque che questo è un ottimo hotel soprattutto per la posizione.

La stanza è piccola e sufficiente per viaggiare da soli. La posizione è buona. Gli alloggi a Roma sono molto costosi. La stazione ferroviaria è a 10 minuti a piedi. È anche possibile raggiungere a piedi il Colosseo, il Pantheon e Piazza Venezia.

We stayed here for four nights in June of 2025. The location of the hotel is generally good for getting to some of the more noteworthy site (Trevi Fountain, Spanish Steps, etc.). There's a metro station around 8 minutes walk away, which opens up most of the rest of the city pretty well. We walked from here to the Vatican, which took around 35 minutes, but would be less than half that by cab. The surrounding area is great for clothing shops, but the food we found nearby was mostly so-so, and frequently over-priced tourist fare, though I'm sure if you walk a little farther from the hotel you can find some good options. The room itself was booked for a family of four, and was comfortable. The bathroom and shower had good water pressure, and the AC worked just fine. Some of the sheets were not quite clean, but we just didn't use the one we found slightly dirty. The beds were comfortable and a good size. The room and hotel have little to no facilities, so you're really just paying for room and the location. The exterior entrance is not well marked, and we actually walked past it on the street several times. If you're thinking of booking here, I'd recommend just looking for the GAP store which is directly across the street, much easier to find. Our interactions with the hotel staff were limited. We received a number of automated messages, some of which were contradictory, or had out of date information. After booking and paying for the room (a non-refundable booking) we were told there was an extra ”city tax” not included which would need to be paid before checking in which amounted to around an extra $90 or so, and the offered price of an airport transfer service went up as soon as we requested it (from 85 euros to 95). The hotel arranged the transfer service for us, but the driver left the airport before we could get out of the passport control due to another booking. The driver service showed up at the hotel at the time the flight was supposed to arrive, even though the flight was late, and you'd expect them to know that going through passport control takes easily an hour, so this seems to be quite poor planning on behalf of either the hotel or the service. We ended up taking a taxi from the airport which was also slightly over half the price of the transfer service, so I'd recommend skipping their service, it seems like a rip-off. Taxis from the airport to the city center seem to be subsidized by the government, and were a fixed price of 55 euros (for a normal size car big enough for 4 people) at the time we visited. The train from the airport is also not a bad idea if you're comfortable using the metro, as the train station is just 3-4 metro stops from the nearest metro station to the hotel (Spagna). Overall, we enjoyed our stay, but felt like we mostly paid for the location.

Una piacevole sorpresa vicino alla Fontana di Trevi. Bella stanza con arredamento curato e molto pulita. Ottima esperienza soprattutto grazie alla disponibilità e gentilezza del proprietario che ha fatto di tutto per rendere perfetto il nostro soggiorno! Ci torneremo!!!

Faccio parte di un gruppo che ha prenotato in questo hotel e Ho scelto questo hotel per la vicinanza alla stazione termini perché molto comodo per spostarci insieme a tutto il gruppo, il servizio del personale molto professionale, ma il punto dolente è che hotel è molto datato e ci stava un odore poco gradevole in tutto il corridoio e per sparire questo odore ci stava un deodorante altrettanto forte che faceva venire il mal di testa. Altro problema che nel bagno non ci sta finestra e per sedersi al water devi fare acrobazia ed è strettissimo.

Un buon hotel economico, situato in una posizione comoda, a 10-20 minuti a piedi dal centro e dalle attrazioni turistiche. Dista circa 5 minuti dal terminal degli autobus di Termini, da dove si può prendere un autobus per l'aeroporto. La cosa più importante è che ci hanno fatto fare il check-in in anticipo! 🤗 La colazione è inclusa, non molto varia, ma va bene per un caffè mattutino ☕️. C'è una sala d'attesa in stile museo e anche un deposito bagagli 🙌🏻.

La posizione dell'hotel è eccellente, accanto alla Fontana di Trevi a Roma e molto vicino al centro commerciale, ma si trova in una stretta strada secondaria e le camere non sono nello stesso edificio ma all'ultimo piano di un altro edificio a più di 50 metri di distanza. Trascinare i bagagli su strade sconnesse è molto dannoso per le valigie. L'edificio in cui viviamo è molto vecchio. L'ascensore è molto piccolo e può ospitare solo due persone. Inoltre, se la porta di un determinato piano non è chiusa correttamente, l'ascensore non si muoverà e sarà necessario salire 5 rampe di scale ogni minuto. La camera era ok, ma la temperatura dell'acqua nella doccia era difficile da controllare: o troppo calda o troppo fredda. C'erano formiche nella stanza, la torta Dango che avevo comprato la sera prima era rovinata e, cosa ancora peggiore, l'acqua nel bollitore aveva molti sedimenti e non ho potuto bere acqua calda per due giorni. Il servizio alla reception è molto generico. Ho speso più di 2.000 yuan per un soggiorno di due notti: è stato uno spreco totale. Assolutamente sconsigliato.
