Hotel con colazione a Genteng

Great location and very friendly service. The breakfast selection is not much, but the food is very refined. The hotel is more than a century old and has lots of history behind it. If you happen to like old hotels, this one would be for you. Two things one would need to take note of: 1) The electrical system is very old and the power is centralized; once the main switch is turned off, even the power in all the electrical outlets would also be cut off as well. So, in order to charge your cell phone at night, you would need to leave at least one light on. 2) Some of the rooms on the ground floor could be very dark; however, if you would bring this up with the front desk, they will be happy to switch you to a much brighter room with a balcony on the 2nd floor for you. That’s good service.

Ho soggiornato in quattro hotel a Surabaya e questo è ovviamente il migliore. Mi piacevano le loro strutture, il servizio, la pulizia e il personale! Bella in particolare è molto dolce e lei si ricorda il mio nome dopo 2 giorni, che è molto impressionante! Se avete bisogno di un riposo profondo, vi consiglierei questo.

È un bell'hotel, con ottimi servizi e colazione. Anche la posizione è buona. Sfortunatamente, le lenzuola nella stanza erano troppo sporche. Non c'erano pieghe. Era ovvio che le lenzuola non erano state cambiate dall'inquilino precedente. Inoltre, c'erano macchie di sangue sulle lenzuola. Ho dovuto chiedere alla camera degli ospiti di cambiare le lenzuola nel cuore della notte.

L'Hotel Culture di Varna si trova in una posizione strategica vicino alla Plaza Tunjungan e a molte pranzi locali intorno, ma mi è stato dato una stanza al piano di fumo, anche se quando ho prenotato ho già chiesto una stanza non fumatori. Dobbiamo inalare un sacco di fumo di seconda mano che era molto cattivo per la gola e ci ha fatto respirare difficile. Il bagno ci aveva dato molti problemi, dopo aver fatto una doccia, ci siamo resi conto che l'acqua non poteva scorrere nel buco di drenaggio e si è rimasta inondata vicino al forno di toaletta. Quando ci lamentammo davanti al personale di servizio, sapevano già il problema, ma non potevano fare nulla. Solo offrì al custode di spostare l'acqua, che ancora bagnava il pavimento. La pressione dell'acqua è troppo bassa mentre ci siamo sul doccia. La testa del doccia si trovava in modo sbagliato sul muro e non flessibile, che ha fatto sparare l’acqua del doccia direttamente al muro opposto, invece che al nostro corpo o al nostro viso, e ha bagnato l’intero rack di tovaglioli e il cuscino bagnato dietro di noi. Pertanto, dobbiamo tenere la testa della doccia per la maggior parte del tempo per assicurarci di poter pulire il nostro corpo in modo approfondito. La colazione servita era media. I succhi erano abbastanza chiari e nessun sapore di frutta. Il cibo generale servito era ok. Nessun minibar all'hotel. Dobbiamo comprare un cubo di ghiaccio 5000rp per una tazza di 4 cubi di ghiaccio.

Abbastanza pulito, ma il servizio è difficoltoso a causa della lingua; non sono riuscito a trovare informazioni su nessun minimarket Indomart nelle vicinanze e non ho potuto ordinare un Cup Noodle verso le 22:00. Anche il bar al piano inferiore non serve cibo di notte. Di buone dimensioni per una famiglia, dato che noi quattro possiamo dormire tutti insieme in una stanza.

Hotel semplice e un po' datato, popolare tra i viaggiatori locali perché vicino (10 minuti a piedi) a Tunjungan Plaza. La camera ha un aspetto trasandato. Asciugamani vecchi. Il materasso è vecchio e si affossava quando ci si sdraiava sopra, causandomi mal di schiena. Ho chiesto che venisse cambiato, ma anche quello nuovo era morbido. La palestra era una piccola stanza con alcuni pesi liberi, un attrezzo multifunzione, una panca e due macchine per il riscaldamento. Il pavimento in moquette probabilmente non è stato aspirato una volta. La moquette del corridoio è molto vecchia, sporca e strappata in alcuni punti. La colazione a buffet era così così.

Servizi: buoni Salute: OK Buon ambiente buon servizio La posizione è ottima, situata nel centro di Surabaya. Ho soggiornato qui per tre notti ed è stata una bella esperienza.

Room: Good, although my request for city view was declined. They said the room with city view was full. Too bad. I got the room with bad view 🥺 Service: Fast. Time for check-in fast as well as time for check-out. They serve very well. I asked for room service and it was fast. Nicely done Food: Good comforting food. But for the pastry was so-so. The last day we stayed there, they prepared our early breakfast for takeaway, very good pacakaging. The Indonesian food was ok and many variations to choose Amenities: Poor. The towel was not proper to use, too old & we don't get fully amenities, for that we need to call for it. Need to improve. Will I stay there again?... Well, may be. Someday. But Aria not in the top of my list 😅🙏

📍Location (+) Located in the city center, convenient access to many tourist spots in Surabaya. There's Indomaret next to the hotel, which makes it convenient too. Wisata Rasa, a recommend place to buy edible souvenirs (like almond crispy), is also nearby. (-) I expected very walkable distance to Tunjungan Romansa, but it is apparently further away than expected. Still walkable but will take quite some time, and only walkable at night. Walking in the day is not very feasible due to Surabaya hot weather. 🏠 Room Facilities (+) TV, desk, 3 electrical outlets, wardrobe with hangers, storage cabinet, safety box, air dryer in the bathroom, and electric kettle are available. Water gallon for refills is available outside the room. (-) The lights in the room are dim, which makes the room unsuitable for work. Toilet issue is of low quality. No fridge. Cuttlery are provided with charge. 🏨 Hotel Facilities (+) Great breakfast with various options, including local delicacies like lontong balap. There are board games, mini pool table, and foosball. PCs are available in the lobby, not sure if it works though. Can store luggage in the receptionist after check out. Toilets are available in the lobby. (-) The hotel only gives 1 access card per room, even if I book a room for 2 people. Was excited to see congklak game but apparently the seeds weren't enough. 👥 Service (+) Friendly staffs. Could ask for extra towel. Could request for specific housekeeping cleaning time.

Before I review I want to say all the staff were kind friendly and very helpful. If this review was about the staff you would have 100%. My problem is with the fabric of the hotel. It is dirty , shabby and living in the past. The first entertainment hotel in the city. Looking at it it was probably the last time it was refurbished. I feel that the staff put on a brave face and they are professional in their duties. Entering my room the sheets were grey had holes and stained. If you use an external laundry and hire your linen someone needs to change your contract!! Grey is not white. The walls are covered in hardboard and are dirty. Shower and toilet ok. Fire door did not self close. Hole in the wall where the self closer keeps hitting it. If this is a four star hotel it’s the staff who are keeping it there, a review though in my opinion would drop you to two stars at the best!! The owners need to reinvest!!
