Hotel con colazione a Toronto

I was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

La posizione è molto buona. La vista dalla stanza è sul lago Ontario. Quando splende il sole, l'intero lago blu è fuori dalla finestra, il che è molto bello. Si trova a pochi passi dalla CN TOWER e dall'Acquario. Tutte le attrazioni del centro città che richiedono una passeggiata si trovano nel raggio di 5 km. Le strutture sono pressoché identiche a quelle degli hotel Westin in Cina, la differenza non è poi così grande.

Great: 1. Unbeatable location. That stretch of Bloor St W has restaurants, coffee shops, used bookstores (my favorite!), and more. Subway station, streetcars, and a Bike Share Toronto hub just around the corner. Christie Pits park nearby. Incredibly walkable. 2. Clean room and useful amenities. Love that slippers were available from the amenities closet. (Slippers seem to be common in hotels in Asia, so I was delighted to find them here.) 2. Responsive customer service. My room had a small issue (intermittent loud buzzing sound of mysterious origin in the night). When I raised this with the Nomas WhatsApp number, Umesh was responsive and offered to move me into a different room. Thankfully the sound eventually vanished after a couple nights! I have no opinion on: 1. Bellis. I didn't eat at the Bellis bar (mainly because I wanted to check out the other offerings nearby). 2. Lockers. I didn't try the lockers, but they looked useful. I saw someone describe this hotel along the lines of ”it's a bar with hallways and rooms.” Isn't that what all hotels are, ultimately? Could be better: 1. My room was near the washrooms for the bar. At night, shrieky bar customers would congregate near the washrooms to chat. Had to get up to shut the soundproofing hallway door a couple of times. Not too big of a deal because the soundproofing is effective. I'd definitely stay here again!

Ho avuto così tanta fortuna di avere questa stanza che era perfetta per passare il tempo a catturare con i miei amici! La camera da letto era fantastica e il puliziatore era il più professionale che abbiamo mai incontrato! La posizione è proprio davanti al porto e probabilmente 5 minuti dalla stazione dell'Unione! Noi rimaniamo certamente

Booked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative. The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived. I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

L'hotel non era cattivo, ma non c'è nessuna attrezzatura nella stanza.. Non nemmeno acqua... ogni volta che volevo avere un po' d'acqua, avrei dovuto andare al lobby e chiedere alcune bottiglie, lo stesso per la pasta dentale (non c'è praticamente nessuna attrezzatura nella stanza), la macchina del caffè era anche brutta.

Il posto è un po' vecchio, ma è pulito con servizi come microonde, frigo grande e utensili da cucina di base.Molto spazio di magazzinaggio. Mi piace la sala complimentare con una bella TV con caffè, tè e un distributore d'acqua. Localizzazione è davvero molto buono essere a 300 metri dalla stazione metropolitana Bloor-yonge, ma sarebbe anche il più vicino ai piatti, quindi bisogna camminare circa 10 minuti per avere più opzioni alimentari.

Stayed there many times. I like the black lady at the front desk she is very nice sweet and give the best service so lovely. Very nice big room with an amazing view Highly recommand the hotel

Questa è la mia prima volta che sono qui e potrebbe essere la mia ultima volta. Il personale del ristorante e della manutenzione era paziente, gentile e consapevole. Uno dei conducenti della navetta era molto dettagliato e si accertava di soddisfare le esigenze degli ospiti, che apprezzo molto, ma un altro conducente era ripetutamente in ritardo e aveva un atteggiamento terribile e non professionale. Al check-in, un deposito è richiesto e mentre questo non è per se un problema, il terminale/macchina di carte di credito è stato molto difficile da navigare. E'stato finito per bloccare la mia carta di credito da usare ovunque, che è un incubo per ogni viaggiatore, soprattutto perché molti posti che vado in sono luoghi senza contanti. The ‘do not disturb’ door sign keeps falling off the knob/handle every single time I open and close the door, which caused inconvenience repeatedly (not a one-off issue). Vorrei che fossero modernissati il sistema di condizionamento dell'aria, che non funzionava in primo luogo, non era intollerabile il riscaldamento in inverno, dovevo sostituire il termostat, che mi ha causato ancora più disagio. La pulizia complessiva della stanza era buona, tranne per alcuni specchi colorati su uno dei tovaglioli da bagno. Le tende della stanza e la temperatura del doccia erano confuse per regolare. Anche il rumore HVAC era molto disturbante. Mi sento come se ci fossero così tanti problemi che dovevano essere risolti e la frizione per sopportare prima di poter trovare anche un piacere nel mio soggiorno. So che questo non è un hotel di lusso 5-star ma anche con questo in mente, sicuramente ha trovato molte modi per deludermi.

La TV è grande e ad alta risoluzione. Il letto è in ordine e la stanza è pulita. Mi sento a mio agio quando entro. In bagno ci sono crema e detergente viso. Tutti gli arredi sembrano semplici ma fantastici.
