The receptionist was very nice. We arrived at 10 AM and were allowed to check in early, which we really appreciated. The room was a bit small for two people with medium sized suitcases, but it was very clean and well-maintained. Housekeeping does not automatically replace the bed sheets or bathrobes every day unless you request it. However, towels are replaced daily.
When booking, I requested a room that was not on the corner, but we were assigned a corner room instead. However, this was not a major issue.
There are 2 convenience stores next to the hotel, making it easy to buy anything you need. The hotel is also conveniently located near a bus stop and Gongdeok Station (Exit 1). If you're traveling with large luggage, there is an elevator at Exit 5, although you'll need to cross the street to access it.
Overall, we had a very nice stay.

Location is good with a metro station just opposite the hotel. If you like jogging outside, there is a nice and long jogging track just under the metro line, and you can run up until the Han river according to the local.
Cafe service for the morning breakfast is good. Staffs are helpful and polite. Room cleanup service is also nicely done. The wow surprise is a welcoming gift left on the table upon checking in.
Some draw back is the furniture. The working table is old with the leather has already peeled off. Usage of toothbrush and paste are chargeable so need to be careful although there are notice being put up.

We stayed at Shilla Stay Gwanghwamun for 3 days and 2 nights, and later booked another 2 days and 1 night after our staycation at Nami Island.

• Front desk service: The staff spoke English well and were very accommodating. They kindly allowed us to store our luggage during our Nami Island trip since we had another booking at the same hotel.
• Room quality: The room was clean and spacious. However, I personally didn’t like the wooden floor—it felt a bit uncomfortable to walk on without room slippers.
• Location: The hotel is centrally located in the city, within walking distance to Bukchon Hanok Village and Gyeongbokgung Palace, and close to several subway stations.
• Food options nearby: Plenty of choices, from traditional Korean BBQ to fast food like Burger King. Just note that many restaurants close around 9–10 PM.


✨ Overall: A convenient city hotel with friendly staff, good service, and easy access to major attractions. The luggage storage service was especially helpful for our trip planning.

The location is great and the service is excellent. COEX Mall and Starfield Library are just in front of the hotel. It is also very convenient since it is near the train station entrance and bus stops.

Adorava la posizione dell'hotel, molto conveniente per tutti i luoghi (gangnam è solo 3 fermate di autobus), eccetto Hongdae. L'hotel si trova tra 3 stazioni di metropolitana e la distanza da tutte le stazioni di metropolitana è passeggiabile (scorpa o scorretta) o raggiungibile con l'autobus. Ma ci sono molti servizi di autobus disponibili per raggiungere le stazioni di metropolitana o persino autobus diretti alle attrazioni.

C'è anche un negozio conveniente accanto all'hotel e all'opuscolo dell'hotel (traccia stradale) nella strada, ci sono molte opzioni locali per il cibo.

Location is very convenient, just next to Seodaemun station exit 7 or 8.  By going across the road (where Lotteria Burger is) and walk along the way in the right, will go to see many small eateries. Slightly further down there is a market selling local foodstuff, including raw ingredients (though not for tourists, but nice to see them to feel the local lifestyle). Overall experience in Shilla Stay is good, recommended. A place not too crowded but not far from busy place like Seoul station, Myeondong, Dongdaemum, etc etc

La camera era abbastanza buona, affacciata sul mare. Svegliarsi e avere il blu del mare davanti agli occhi è stato fantastico. L'unico difetto era che il vetro esterno non era pulito. La stanza era ordinata. Il servizio alla reception era buono. La colazione era deliziosa e il caffè eccezionale. L'ho adorato. Anche la piscina era molto bella.

Siamo rimasti tutti molto soddisfatti del nostro soggiorno. L'hotel si trova di fronte a Baojian Road, il che lo rende molto comodo per ristoranti e negozi, ed è anche facilmente raggiungibile sia dalla linea Est che da quella Ovest. La hall è pulita e ordinata e il personale della reception è cordiale. Anche se una chiave magnetica è stata smarrita in camera, il problema è stato risolto rapidamente. Se rimanete senza acqua, potete richiederne altre due alla reception. La camera era anche abbastanza insonorizzata. Avevamo un letto singolo, perfetto per due persone. Il bagno era impeccabile e veniva pulito ogni giorno. Sceglierei sicuramente di nuovo questo hotel la prossima volta che visiterò l'isola di Jeju.

Non c'era nessun ristorante disponibile per cena, solo il fine settimana, così aveva anche ordinato la consegna di cibo. Tuttavia, il colazione è disponibile. La pressione dell'acqua era molto bassa che non potevo davvero lavarmi i capelli medi lunghi. Ci sono voluti venti minuti per arrivare all'aeroporto alle 8:00, che è stato un bum, perché l'hotel è chiamato hotel aeroportuale. 
In generale, molto medio.

Lo Shilla Stay è un ottimo hotel. Gli abbiamo assegnato il massimo dei voti in tutto, tranne che per i servizi.

Abbiamo soggiornato a Pasqua, ma la piscina e il bar sul tetto sono chiusi fino a luglio, quindi non abbiamo potuto usufruirne nonostante il tempo fosse prevalentemente soleggiato e abbastanza caldo.
Sarebbe inoltre utile avere un'area bar separata con comodi tavoli e sedie, invece di utilizzare la zona ristorante come bar la sera.
Preparatevi a camere molto calde, poiché l'aria condizionata non passa alla modalità raffreddamento fino all'estate.

Il personale è stato davvero gentile e disponibile, le camere, i corridoi e le aree comuni erano impeccabili.
