Hotel boutique a Panglao

"Abbiamo davvero goduto il nostro soggiorno qui. La stanza era pulita e confortevole, e le strutture erano incredibili. E' anche amica dei bambini, che apprezzavamo. Tuttavia, l'hotel è molto lontano dalla spiaggia, quindi non è consigliabile se viaggiate con gli anziani. Il cibo era un po' costoso, ma ci è stato un bel po' di tempo per goderci delle bevande nella zona della piscina."

"L'hotel non è stato ancora completamente rinnovato e il prezzo dovrebbe aumentare una volta completata la ristrutturazione. Questo hotel è pubblicizzato su ogni volo che prendi. La piscina è una caratteristica speciale. Ci sono piscine ovunque e ci sono ancora piscine in costruzione in futuro. Non vi è alcun difetto nella tipologia della camera, come la mancanza del bagno. C'è una vasca da bagno e una doccia. La stanza è grande e ha un balcone. Il ristorante è attualmente condiviso con la porta accanto della Vecchia Hannah. La spiaggia viene mantenuta ogni giorno. Ci sono molti coreani. Non ho ancora visto strutture per bambini e non so se verranno costruite in seguito."

"Abbiamo prenotato per 3 camere. Il soggiorno complessivo era OK, Le camere sono spaziose, Bella camera doccia con asciugacapelli e mutandine , con acqua calda, le tute sono pulite, i letti sono puliti anche, Un problema è che non ci sono TV’s in ogni camera, il Wi-Fi sono On & Off, Il colazione era semplice e ci sono scelte molto limitate, il servizio è anche OK, ma il soggiorno è tutto ok."

"We had a lovely stay at this beautiful resort. The infinity pool is stunning, and the direct beach access makes it even more special. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was well organized and clean. However, considering the price of €200 per night, the value for money could be improved. For the Philippines, this is quite a high rate, and we expected a bit more luxury. The breakfast buffet was quite basic — mostly cheap fruits like apples, oranges, and watermelon. We would have appreciated more tropical options, which are usually standard in the region. Also, cappuccinos were not included and had to be paid separately; only basic filter coffee was available. Overall, it’s a great resort, but the pricing doesn’t fully match the experience"

"Era pieno della sensazione di un resort. Dato che è un posto tradizionale, potrebbe non avere la pulizia e la raffinatezza di un nuovo resort, ma... La meravigliosa vista della piscina di fronte al mare era un luogo dove potevi sentirti guarito solo guardandola, anche se c'era molto vento. Tutto il personale si è preso cura del nostro programma fino alla fine e si è persino offerto di permetterci un check-out posticipato. Tutta la mia famiglia era felice mentre ero lì ^^ Visiterò di nuovo quando visiterò di nuovo Bohol."

"We stayed at Henann Tawala Hotel for a week upon arriving in Bohol, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, living up to its 4-star rating. Upon arrival, the staff were very attentive—our bags were handled, and we were offered breakfast while our early check-in was expedited. One thing to be aware of is the 3,000 pesos per night damage deposit. If paid by credit card, any charges, such as room service or drinks at the swim-up bar, are deducted from it, with the balance refunded after checkout. The breakfast area is beautifully presented, with friendly staff who greet you warmly. After giving your room number and surname, you’re escorted to a table. However, we noticed some inconsistency in service—on some days we were offered coffee or tea, while on others we weren’t. There were also times when water wasn’t provided, so we ended up with double servings after fetching it ourselves. Consistency in service would enhance the experience, but the self-service station for coffee, water, and juices was convenient. Breakfast options were excellent, with plenty of variety to suit all preferences. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. One small issue was being asked to leave a yogurt behind when I tried to take it out of the breakfast area. I understand the rule to prevent excessive takeaway, but I felt a little flexibility could be applied for small items. The rooms at Henann Tawala are impressive—spacious with great bathrooms and lovely balconies. Among the best we’ve stayed in, they’re comparable to high-end hotels like Radisson Blu in Cebu or Seda Ayala Central Block. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged a reasonably priced van for our trip to Tagbilaran, and the driver was punctual, providing a comfortable ride. He even dropped us off at the right spot for catching a van to Anda at the Dao Bus Terminal. One nice perk of staying here is the short walk to Henann's beachfront property, where you can use the sun loungers shaded by palm trees and enjoy drinks served by the staff. However, you can’t use the pool there, and you need to pick up towels from Henann Tawala before heading to the beach. The beach is beautiful, but there are quite a few hawkers selling tours, which can be a bit of a nuisance. We found better deals on Facebook. The sea is warm, though there’s a fair amount of seaweed. I’d recommend snorkeling to watch your step, as there are starfish and possibly sea urchins. We only swam once. If you buy mangosteen from beach vendors (150-200 pesos), check for ants, as one of our bags was full of them! Just outside the hotel’s main gates, there’s an ATM and a laundry shop that charges around 400 pesos for 5 kg, returning clothes washed, dried, and folded by 5 pm. It’s much cheaper than the hotel’s laundry service. We also tried the Kajun Restaurant nearby, which offers excellent chicken sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes in an American diner style. On the beachfront, our favorite restaurant was the Oasis Resort’s upstairs bar and restaurant, which has a cooling breeze and a great view of the beach. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and we highly recommend it. While our stay at Henann Tawala was wonderful, Panglao itself felt quite touristy. There were many Korean tourists, and a lot of locals trying to sell tours and services, which sometimes felt overwhelming. Prices were higher than we expected, especially for things like tricycles, which cost 150 pesos per person compared to the 12 pesos we paid in the provinces. Restaurant prices were also inflated, and even basic supplies came at a premium. If you prefer a quieter, more authentic experience, I’d recommend visiting somewhere like Anda. It has a more laid-back, provincial vibe, with friendlier locals and a slower pace of life, making it a peaceful alternative to the busy, touristy atmosphere of Panglao."

"It was fantastic Vacation ever. Front desk Kevin was amazing from Arrival until departure. He was very kind and efficient. It was nice welcome. The restaurant staffs all were great. Breakfast, beach snack and dinner. They are kind and provide best service. Beach safety guards and security(Julio, if i remember correctly) very kind and help single traveler request very well. Thanks for my departure transportation driver. Every staffs with busy operation, they keep smile on face. I have a best vacation under the sun and beautiful beach with South Palm resort! I will definately will be back soon. 정말 조용하고 한적한 곳에서 제대로된 휴식을 취하고 싶으시면. 여기입니다."

"la stanza aveva molte molle nel bagno che potevano essere facilmente pulite con un liquido di pulizia del bagno. il cabinetto aveva un pezzo di qualcosa come un termite. il carro usato per il servizio in camera era molto polveroso. il vento dell'aria condizionata chiaramente non è stato pulito per anni dal accumulo di polvere grigia di 0.25 pollici nel vento. La stanza che abbiamo soggiornato era vicino alla spiaggia pubblica. Era rumoroso nel giorno a causa dei gordi di spiaggia con altoparlanti karaoke Il personale è stato esemplificativo, ma occorre migliorare la pulizia"

"Abbiamo avuto un bel tempo a Solea! Il personale era incredibilmente utile e benvenuto. Quando siamo arrivati, ci siamo salutati con un complimento bevande di benvenuto per due, e il buffet di colazione era assolutamente fantastico! Mi sentivo davvero come se avessi un grande valore per i miei soldi, entrambi i miei figli godevano il buffet per colazione gratuita (Credo che i bambini di età inferiore a 7 mangiano gratis). Anche se è un po' di un'auto da Alona, siamo da Bohol e abbiamo avuto la nostra auto, quindi c'è stato un brindisi. Per coloro che non hanno un veicolo, Solea offre un servizio di navetta gratuito. Sono anche disponibili un buon biglietto con il calendario di pick-up e di abbassamento. Molto consigliato per le famiglie che cercano una via d'uscita rilassante e conveniente!"

"We booked a two-night stay and overall it was good. Location is one kilometer away from the beach center. You can ride a tricycle to the center for P100. It is just along the road and it is situated within a commercial center where there is a cafe, convenience store, restaurants and clinic. Amenities are good. Since this is a new hotel, the furnitures and appliances are new and in good condition. Water pressure is great, shower heater is working perfectly. Private javuzzi is a plus. The bfast buffet is actually more of chinese cuisine and not of wide variety but just enough for the price. There is a big television but the channels and movies available are chinese. Overall, still a good experience. It is peaceful and quiet in the resort and you can enjoy the pool area specially if there are few guests."
