The resort is very good overall. However there's a few niggles. Check in took way too long. 2 people serving? When you have a long queue in the heat of the lobby this isn't a great first impression. The lobby on arrival was so busy. When I've checked into other hotels I've usually been impressed with the smoothness of check in. This wasn't a pleasant experience or environment especially if you're traveling with children. We couldn't get a massage. We wanted to confirm the time the next day and they wouldn't give us this option.? The lift? One lift in the main area? For a resort this big and expensive they should have more lifts The stairs at the pool are stony. This will really hurt your feet when you're not expecting it The breakfast is good for Filipinos however for Westerners like myself there should be more choice. Not just bread and egg. The beach is small. You get hassled by people trying to sell you stuff. Protect your belongings. Doesn't feel safe, look out for algae in the water. Not pleasant to swim through. The resort restaurants are very expensive. The lobby isn't air conditioned? Why not make it a pleasure to be in the lobby and serve coffee to guests? Not everyone wants ice tea. We were told to pay 6000php on arrival which luckily we had but we didn't know about this deposit for incidentals ahead of time. The positives are. They gave us umbrellas when we walked outside for the shade. The shower in our room was excellent. The warm water in the pool. And swimming till late is lovely. The staff are very good and attentive and professional. They served us with care and attention and nothing was too much trouble. I got looked after by the nurse at 10pm.

We stayed at Henann Tawala Hotel for a week upon arriving in Bohol, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, living up to its 4-star rating. Upon arrival, the staff were very attentive—our bags were handled, and we were offered breakfast while our early check-in was expedited. One thing to be aware of is the 3,000 pesos per night damage deposit. If paid by credit card, any charges, such as room service or drinks at the swim-up bar, are deducted from it, with the balance refunded after checkout. The breakfast area is beautifully presented, with friendly staff who greet you warmly. After giving your room number and surname, you’re escorted to a table. However, we noticed some inconsistency in service—on some days we were offered coffee or tea, while on others we weren’t. There were also times when water wasn’t provided, so we ended up with double servings after fetching it ourselves. Consistency in service would enhance the experience, but the self-service station for coffee, water, and juices was convenient. Breakfast options were excellent, with plenty of variety to suit all preferences. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. One small issue was being asked to leave a yogurt behind when I tried to take it out of the breakfast area. I understand the rule to prevent excessive takeaway, but I felt a little flexibility could be applied for small items. The rooms at Henann Tawala are impressive—spacious with great bathrooms and lovely balconies. Among the best we’ve stayed in, they’re comparable to high-end hotels like Radisson Blu in Cebu or Seda Ayala Central Block. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged a reasonably priced van for our trip to Tagbilaran, and the driver was punctual, providing a comfortable ride. He even dropped us off at the right spot for catching a van to Anda at the Dao Bus Terminal. One nice perk of staying here is the short walk to Henann's beachfront property, where you can use the sun loungers shaded by palm trees and enjoy drinks served by the staff. However, you can’t use the pool there, and you need to pick up towels from Henann Tawala before heading to the beach. The beach is beautiful, but there are quite a few hawkers selling tours, which can be a bit of a nuisance. We found better deals on Facebook. The sea is warm, though there’s a fair amount of seaweed. I’d recommend snorkeling to watch your step, as there are starfish and possibly sea urchins. We only swam once. If you buy mangosteen from beach vendors (150-200 pesos), check for ants, as one of our bags was full of them! Just outside the hotel’s main gates, there’s an ATM and a laundry shop that charges around 400 pesos for 5 kg, returning clothes washed, dried, and folded by 5 pm. It’s much cheaper than the hotel’s laundry service. We also tried the Kajun Restaurant nearby, which offers excellent chicken sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes in an American diner style. On the beachfront, our favorite restaurant was the Oasis Resort’s upstairs bar and restaurant, which has a cooling breeze and a great view of the beach. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and we highly recommend it. While our stay at Henann Tawala was wonderful, Panglao itself felt quite touristy. There were many Korean tourists, and a lot of locals trying to sell tours and services, which sometimes felt overwhelming. Prices were higher than we expected, especially for things like tricycles, which cost 150 pesos per person compared to the 12 pesos we paid in the provinces. Restaurant prices were also inflated, and even basic supplies came at a premium. If you prefer a quieter, more authentic experience, I’d recommend visiting somewhere like Anda. It has a more laid-back, provincial vibe, with friendlier locals and a slower pace of life, making it a peaceful alternative to the busy, touristy atmosphere of Panglao.

Abbiamo avuto un bellissimo soggiorno al Modala Beach Resort. Le persone erano molto accoglienti e utili. La stanza e la piscina erano pulite. La spiaggia era grande, ha un bel sabbio bianco. Potrei dire che l'albergo è familiare. L'unico lato in basso durante la nostra visita era che la spiaggia aveva un livello molto basso di mare, ci è stato detto che avrebbe un livello migliore nei mesi di aprile-giugno. La spiaggia è diventata un po' nuoto il pomeriggio del secondo giorno di soggiorno, così potevamo godere della spiaggia. La cena servita durante il colazione era buona. In generale, abbiamo avuto una bella vacanza. Sicuramente consigliere Modala Beach Resort.

Era pieno della sensazione di un resort. Dato che è un posto tradizionale, potrebbe non avere la pulizia e la raffinatezza di un nuovo resort, ma... La meravigliosa vista della piscina di fronte al mare era un luogo dove potevi sentirti guarito solo guardandola, anche se c'era molto vento. Tutto il personale si è preso cura del nostro programma fino alla fine e si è persino offerto di permetterci un check-out posticipato. Tutta la mia famiglia era felice mentre ero lì ^^ Visiterò di nuovo quando visiterò di nuovo Bohol.

Amazing experience at the Bellevue Resort - property was very clean, service and food were very good. Beach was tranquil and perfect for chilling. Not so swim friendly, though good for families with young kids. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends

Great food, excellent friendly helpful staffs. Lots of purple ”ube” stuffs... so delicious. Only in BE!! I'm a grandpa of 5 kids, we all enjoyed this place. We are definitely coming back to this hotel. We are recommending this place, too, to our friends at home in NY!!! We love this hotel! Great food service, Renaldo, Richard, Lore Mar, Angeline from the front desk..so helpful and gracious!!!

Certo è un hotel molto bello 5 stelle, ma ancora una cosa che devi considerare prima di prenotare. La spiaggia è sabbiosa e le zone vicine sono abbastanza comode per rimanere e avere un riposo sulla spiaggia. Ma se sei un fan snorkeling - non una buona opzione per voi. Sulla foto si può vedere cosa accade a basso tempo. Certamente si deve indossare scarpe di corallo (obbligo!!!) e camminare a lungo prima di raggiungere il punto dove si può nuotare e snorkel. Il famoso disastro aereo può essere facilmente raggiunto e visto sottomarino. Il fondo del corallo del mare è piuttosto povero su questa spiaggia. Ma si può vedere un sacco di diversi pesci stellari.

La posizione dell'hotel è molto tranquilla, bene, e il costo del hardware è molto costoso.Forse per la causa dell'epidemia, gli ospiti sono pochi, e il personale è pochi, quindi il servizio è ancora scontato.La spiaggia non lascia scuotersi, non lascia Kayak, è una spiaggia privata così tranquilla. La porta della spiaggia ha tenuto 4,5 guardie di sicurezza, e la droga è stata severa e non so cosa sia successo prima.Il più sorprendente è che il rumore del disco vicino può durare fino a mezzanotte, ma ha messo in silenzio questo posto (così che l'ambiente mi ha dato tre stelle). E'incredibile che il gusto locale del cuoco sia buono. Ci sono tutti i giorni per cena.
