UUtente ospiteWe had a pleasant stay at Cliffside Resort, a place that truly stands out for its stunning view and its very peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding.
The room was clean, although a few small details could be improved, such as the drawers, which were not properly cleaned.
Most of the staff were very welcoming and smiling, which created a warm and friendly environment. A few team members were a bit less friendly, so the experience felt slightly inconsistent, but overall the staff were lovely.
The food was very good, and so were the cocktails, which made our meals enjoyable.
However, the timing of the service really needs improvement. It became almost funny: one of us would get their meal, eat it calmly… and the other would be served 30 minutes later — sometimes almost an hour later.
It’s a strange and quite awkward situation, because you don’t really get to eat together. Back in France, this would never happen, so it was really surprising.
Despite this issue, we overall had a positive stay, with an exceptional setting and lots of potential for an even better experience.

Yyanart_blackMi piaceva il mio soggiorno qui! L'hotel è situato in una zona tranquilla, lontana, che era perfetta per rilassarsi. La casa stessa è accogliente e bellamente mantenuta, e mi è davvero piaciuta la cucina comune aveva tutto quello che avevo bisogno.
Il personale era incredibilmente amichevole e sempre pronto ad aiutare con qualsiasi cosa. 7/11 è solo un passo da 8-minute, e Alona Beach è a circa 15 minuti a piedi, quindi la posizione è sia tranquilla che conveniente.
Molto consigliare questo posto per chiunque cerca comfort, silenzio e ospite caldo!

CCherryT91Hotel was good in terms of cleanliness, amenities (pool, beach towels for use, luggage storage, breakfast which is nothing great but not complaining cause it’s free, outdoor shower for before/after pool). They also let me use the pool, towel, and shower on the day of check out since my flight was a bit later. Very good location also in terms of closeness to beach; it's on the access road right to Alona Beach and walkable to many restaurants and shops including a 24/7 hour 7/11. For the tours I went on, I got picked up at McDonalds which was totally fine (a 3 min walk). The hotel requires a 1000php cash security deposit which you get back upon check out. The main downside is that the hotel is noisy at night, because it's right by some bars and an area where a band was playing (on Saturday night at least); the room actually did a decent job of reducing noise but it couldn't drown out everything. If you’re very sensitive to noise, that would be a downside but possibly it was also worse because I was staying on the side facing the stage area.

We had a quick stay here and overall enjoyed the experience. We arrived right at the 2PM check-in time, though there was a bit of confusion at the front desk. I had previously requested (and was confirmed for) a room in the new building, but the staff mentioned it was tied to a different booking—which I never made and had actually canceled. Unfortunately, rooms in the new building were no longer available. A bit of a mix-up, but not a huge issue since we were only staying overnight and mainly needed a place to rest after a long day on a Countryside Tour.
We were assigned a Deluxe Room in the older building, located on the 2nd or 3rd floor. The stairs weren’t too tiring, so the climb was manageable. Our room was tucked away at the back, which made the hallway a bit dim in the evenings—so make sure to switch the hallway light on. While the room felt a bit dated, it was exceptionally clean. As someone who’s very particular, I was impressed—the bed, floors, cabinets, and bathroom were spotless. I even felt comfortable enough to do some light floor workouts in the morning!
Only minor concern would be the lighting inside the room—it was slightly dim for makeup application, but again, not a dealbreaker.
Location: Right on the beachfront, so it’s super convenient to explore Alona Beach. Restaurants, bars, and shops are all within walking distance.
Accessibility: Because it’s beachfront, cars can’t drop you off directly at the entrance. It’s about a 5-minute walk from the nearest drop-off point at Alona, which is manageable unless you’re carrying multiple travel bags like us—then it might feel a bit of a hassle.

NNURZILIAПервое что нужно знать, нормальной дороги к этому отелю нет. Сюда не приезжает такси. Остается только брать байк и ездить самим.
В целом сам отель хороший, есть бассейн, кафе, красивая территория.
В номере есть холодильник, чайник выдают по запросу, шкаф для одежды. Номер выглядит хорошо. Убираются по запросу.
Так как отель находится в джунглях, тут много живностей. По ночам что то скребет потолок, гекконы забираются в комнату и всю ночь орут.
Завтраки на выбор. Достаточно хорошие. Отдельное спасибо персоналу. Всегда вежливые и со всем готовы помочь 🙏

OOlga Ivanovna NovoselovaL'hotel è generalmente buono e nuovo. Avevamo una suite. La pulizia è mediocre, su richiesta. Dopo aver fatto la doccia, l'acqua si riversa in tutto il bagno. Apparentemente lo scarico è stato eseguito in modo errato o lo scarico era intasato. La stanza non dispone di frigorifero, cassaforte o armadio, ma solo di scaffali. L'acqua potabile calda e fredda è disponibile gratuitamente nel corridoio. C'è una piscina, bella, pulita, profonda. La posizione è vicino alla spiaggia, un po' lontana dalla strada principale. Abbiamo lasciato l'hotel la mattina presto e abbiamo chiesto di fare colazione per cena. L'hanno portato nella nostra stanza. In generale l'hotel può essere consigliato per il relax.

EElizaveta VThe hotel is located in an isolated place, so it is very convenient to rent a bike or a tricycle to get to the town or to the nearest restaurant. There is a small private beach, but there are a lot of plants and a lot of boats. I loved the service - you can call the massage or manicure master, grab a drink at the beach bar, lie down near the beach and enjoy the service. They also provided me a bike rent with delivery. The room is in zebra style - very nice and comfy. The only thing I disliked - the room is very small, it is basically tiny, though it had a terrace which a view of the hotel stairs which I found useless.

MMichaelIl ristorante era molto tranquillo, quello che volevamo, ma si sentiva come una stagione. Ci sono state alcune riparazioni e il ristorante è chiuso un po' prima di quanto ci sarebbe stato piacere. (Non c'era nessuna informazione sulla riparazione quando abbiamo prenotato il ristorante)
Dopo aver detto che il resort era molto pulito e ben guardato.
