Hotel 3 stelle a Panglao

We had a pleasant stay at Cliffside Resort, a place that truly stands out for its stunning view and its very peaceful atmosphere, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The room was clean, although a few small details could be improved, such as the drawers, which were not properly cleaned. Most of the staff were very welcoming and smiling, which created a warm and friendly environment. A few team members were a bit less friendly, so the experience felt slightly inconsistent, but overall the staff were lovely. The food was very good, and so were the cocktails, which made our meals enjoyable. However, the timing of the service really needs improvement. It became almost funny: one of us would get their meal, eat it calmly… and the other would be served 30 minutes later — sometimes almost an hour later. It’s a strange and quite awkward situation, because you don’t really get to eat together. Back in France, this would never happen, so it was really surprising. Despite this issue, we overall had a positive stay, with an exceptional setting and lots of potential for an even better experience.

Отдыхали компанией, поэтому в приоритете был номер на несколько мест. Anaas предлагали двухэтажную ”дачу” (в хорошем смысле) за очень хорошую цену. Наличие бассейна тоже было одним из условий. Бассейн достаточно большой, рядом шезлонги. Чуть мешает щебень, подсыпанный местами, пройти босиком совсем не комфортно. Белье чистое, полотенца белые, на первом этаже большая кровать, на втором этаже матрасы-футоны. Номер конечно рассчитан больше на семейную пару с детьми, чем на группу друзей. По нашей просьбе добавили один футон. Но первый этаж использован не слишком рационально. При такой площади хотелось бы иметь небольшую кухню с плитой. Кухня есть, но она на территории отдельно. Огромный плюс - расположение вдали от дороги. Тишина для сна. Бесплатный кофе и питьевая вода на рецепшн.

Hotel was good in terms of cleanliness, amenities (pool, beach towels for use, luggage storage, breakfast which is nothing great but not complaining cause it’s free, outdoor shower for before/after pool). They also let me use the pool, towel, and shower on the day of check out since my flight was a bit later. Very good location also in terms of closeness to beach; it's on the access road right to Alona Beach and walkable to many restaurants and shops including a 24/7 hour 7/11. For the tours I went on, I got picked up at McDonalds which was totally fine (a 3 min walk). The hotel requires a 1000php cash security deposit which you get back upon check out. The main downside is that the hotel is noisy at night, because it's right by some bars and an area where a band was playing (on Saturday night at least); the room actually did a decent job of reducing noise but it couldn't drown out everything. If you’re very sensitive to noise, that would be a downside but possibly it was also worse because I was staying on the side facing the stage area.

We had a really fun and enjoyable stay at Alona by JPark Resort! The location is great—close to Alona Beach but still peaceful. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the staff were warm and accommodating throughout our stay. We especially loved the pool area—it was clean, relaxing, and perfect for unwinding. Food was good, and overall the experience was pleasant and memorable. Just a small suggestion: it would be better if the aircon filters were cleaned regularly, as we noticed it could be improved. Still, we had a great time and would consider staying here again.

Un ostello molto famoso a livello locale, frequentato prevalentemente da turisti europei e americani, ma anche da molti asiatici come me. Il personale della reception è sempre stato caloroso e cordiale. Hanno risposto alle mie email prima del check-in in modo molto tempestivo e rapido. Ho prenotato una camera doppia con letti singoli, che era molto spaziosa, per niente affollata per due persone, il che è fantastico. La camera aveva un grande specchio a figura intera, ottimo per le donne per controllare il proprio outfit prima di uscire. Anche il bagno era grande, ma c'era un po' di muffa sul lavandino. L'acqua calda nella doccia era un po' scarsa, il che è un peccato. La posizione dell'hotel è ottima, a 15 minuti a piedi dal McDonald's di Alona Beach. È stato molto comodo tornare a piedi in hotel in una sera fresca. Ci sono due svantaggi: 1. Dato che sono arrivato a notte fonda, avevo prenotato in anticipo un tuk-tuk di prelievo con la reception dell'hotel, ma dopo essere atterrato ho aspettato 30 minuti e non è arrivato nessuno. Ho chiamato l'hotel ma nessuno ha risposto. Alla fine, la sicurezza dell'aeroporto mi ha aiutato a chiamare un tuk-tuk... 2. Dopo il check-out, ho scoperto di aver dimenticato la cinghia per la valigia in camera. Ho inviato un'e-mail all'hotel per cercarla, ma mi hanno detto di non averla trovata. Probabilmente è stata buttata via dal personale delle pulizie. (Certo, avrei dovuto sistemare le mie cose).

Il personale è a posto, ma il posto non è così accessibile al trasporto, deve andare sulla strada principale per ottenere uno.

Первое что нужно знать, нормальной дороги к этому отелю нет. Сюда не приезжает такси. Остается только брать байк и ездить самим. В целом сам отель хороший, есть бассейн, кафе, красивая территория. В номере есть холодильник, чайник выдают по запросу, шкаф для одежды. Номер выглядит хорошо. Убираются по запросу. Так как отель находится в джунглях, тут много живностей. По ночам что то скребет потолок, гекконы забираются в комнату и всю ночь орут. Завтраки на выбор. Достаточно хорошие. Отдельное спасибо персоналу. Всегда вежливые и со всем готовы помочь 🙏

Il ristorante era molto tranquillo, quello che volevamo, ma si sentiva come una stagione. Ci sono state alcune riparazioni e il ristorante è chiuso un po' prima di quanto ci sarebbe stato piacere. (Non c'era nessuna informazione sulla riparazione quando abbiamo prenotato il ristorante) Dopo aver detto che il resort era molto pulito e ben guardato.

The hotel is located in an isolated place, so it is very convenient to rent a bike or a tricycle to get to the town or to the nearest restaurant. There is a small private beach, but there are a lot of plants and a lot of boats. I loved the service - you can call the massage or manicure master, grab a drink at the beach bar, lie down near the beach and enjoy the service. They also provided me a bike rent with delivery. The room is in zebra style - very nice and comfy. The only thing I disliked - the room is very small, it is basically tiny, though it had a terrace which a view of the hotel stairs which I found useless.

L'hotel è generalmente buono e nuovo. Avevamo una suite. La pulizia è mediocre, su richiesta. Dopo aver fatto la doccia, l'acqua si riversa in tutto il bagno. Apparentemente lo scarico è stato eseguito in modo errato o lo scarico era intasato. La stanza non dispone di frigorifero, cassaforte o armadio, ma solo di scaffali. L'acqua potabile calda e fredda è disponibile gratuitamente nel corridoio. C'è una piscina, bella, pulita, profonda. La posizione è vicino alla spiaggia, un po' lontana dalla strada principale. Abbiamo lasciato l'hotel la mattina presto e abbiamo chiesto di fare colazione per cena. L'hanno portato nella nostra stanza. In generale l'hotel può essere consigliato per il relax.
