Having booked a family as all inclusive we soon discovered after arrival that other guests were wearing different coloured wrist bands, gold band apparantly is more all inclusive than the silver all inclusive which we all were given,an option that was never put to us on booking or on arrival at hotel, the bands were pretty irratating and also had sharp edges which caught the skin on more than one occasion.On ordering food and drinks you had to present your room key card, what is the point of the bands then.Hotel was pretty clean and well maintained, friendly staff in all positions.The food on offer was of a good quality but didn't change much with some items not labelled as to what they were.We were in a big party and finding a table to allow us all to dine together became a bit of a squeeze as larger tables seemed to have a lot less space between them.The hotel lifts have a mind of their own which quickly becomes annoying, they can go from ground to floor ten without stopping and vice versa but ghe minute you are in them they seem to stop at every floor.Rooms are adequate with all you need although i found the wardrobes a tad too small.€10 deposit gets you a safe key.Using the coffee in hotel room does not guarantee a restock as i found which was disappointing. Entertainment for kids was real good and staff were very friendly and would seek you out if there was any issues which was reassuring.The outdoor pool for the size of hotel was small and on good hot sunny days not much room to do anything.There is an indoor pool which i was told will charge you if you go over your time limit, i cannot verify this but be aware.The bar at night mostly copes but our last night had rain so most guests stayed indoors and queues formed which were taking forever to clear. Location wise it was our first time at this side of Benidorm, closer to the old town, it was a nice change but there is a fair amount of walking involved to get to the beach and the new town which included hilly streets. 3 stars would be a fair rating for this hotel.

Arrival Checkin was very efficient and staff very courteous. Issued with a room card which has to be produced for all services. Location 5* Easy distance to the sea front and shopping area of old/new town. The hotel is located on a side street, customer whom are coached in will be dropped off around 150 metres away, and again for the pickup (the pickup was 10 minutes ahead of schedule time - so ensure you arrive 15 minute ahead) Could be a problem if raining, there is no shelter when awaiting the coach. If you hire a car, parking can be expensive, around €12-€15 per day. On street parking is available, but is difficult to find a free space. The hotel is 5 minutes (top of the street) from a large supermarket (closed Sundays). Rooms 5* The room we were allocated was on the 14th floor, pool facing (sun in the morning till early afternoon). Well appointed room with no maintenance issues and clean. Towels were regularly changed. Fridge with water/soft drinks (local charge though for these), tea/coffee making facilities with a replenishment of supplies (unlike Med Playa hotels). The rooms were surprisingly quite from the balcony due to being double glazed. On the balcony a pop up washing line, 2 chair and a table. Good viewing as the balcony is glass panelled. The beds were 2 doubles and were very comfortable. Safe with key lock (€10 deposit). 42" Android TV (with some UK channels), hair dryer, toiletry supplies (shampoo, conditioner, toothbrushes, soap). The bathroom had shower, toilet, shower had a removable hand wand and a fixed overhead large rainfall shower which maintained a powerful and consistent warm jet. The shower entry may cause some larger people issues as the clearance is around 15” wide. The room cleaners were very thorough and were tipped. Floor lifts 5* There are 6 lifts, 4 express lifts in the foyer and 2 smaller adjacent to the main staircase. All were functioning during our stay. We didn't generally have any undue wait issues, as we (as with other hotels) always avoid on the hour, quarter or on the half hour, as larger parties use these times to rendezvous in the restaurants etc. Food 5* Any one whom enjoys a proper English/Scottish breakfasts, you will not be disappointed, lean bacon prepared from the griddle, good sausages and sunny side up eggs, black pudding also available. I'm a regular porridge person, this was also catered for. Proper mug sized cups available for tea/coffee. At the time we were at the hotel, I would say 60% of guest were Spanish nationals, but there were always a choice, seafood, meat, rice or chicken dishes with a carving dishes at the griddle. Fair choice of salads and sweet dishes. There was no evidence of any flying insects in the dining room. There is a microwave oven either for baby food or reheating dishes to piping hot. There is great confidence in food hygiene as it can be seen every day, the majority of the hotel staff ate from the same guest offerings at lunchtime, as did the manager. We enj

Staff very friendly, nice hotel apart from the cockroaches crawling around in restaurant and the food that 3 of our party got and other families as well. Reviews all go on about how nice the food is, the spread is good but be careful as not everything is cooked right through, if you go, stick to the safe stuff. We ended up eating out for 4 of the 7 nights and it was all inclusive.

This is a review for nearly two weeks spent in June at a lovely hotel which I could not fault at all. While we got dropped off at the door in a taxi the coaches drop off at the bottom off the road no more than a minutes walk. While the room was not quite ready just an hours wait we were given the wrist bands for drinks and a meal and storage space for our cases. Our request for a lower floor was met with floor 3 so easy to walk and not have to wait for the lifts. The rooms had two large double beds, plenty of storage space, a large balcony and most important air conditioning which worked to well at times. There was a fridge with water but you had to pay for that so stock up downstairs where it is free. The large T.V. had plenty of English, Dutch and French channels. The bathroom had bath and impressive shower with plenty of toiletries and towels. While there were six lifts which all showed which floor they were currently at they often flew past so it was quicker to walk. The Restaurant was very cool and there were plenty of tables with some reserved for large families and people with disabilities. The breakfast the chef cooked omelettes, toasties etc to order which meant they were fresh. Proper English bacon as well as Spanish was served. Basically everything you could think off was on offer including special dietary needs. Both Lunch and Dinner were similar in nature starting with the Pasta, Pizza and Rice station then progressing to the show cooking where steaks, pork chops, lamb chops and even kebabs were available some days. While not the biggest variety I have seen the standard was high especially the two fish dishes which were on offer. Only slight fault was it was waiter service for drinks which could take time if you were unlucky. The pool area was open from 10.00am till 8.00pm and has four main areas. There is the outside terrace with plenty of seats to relax with a drink in a glass or a bite to eat. At ten the chains are removed and while there are round fifty people waiting there are plenty of sunbeds. To the right of the terrace is the splash pool for youngsters which is well decorated. There is also a deeper pool to swim in. To the left is what I would describe as an adults only sunbathing area with loads of beds. The final area is downstairs right next to the pool again plenty of beds but the ones in the sun fill up quickly. Lastly in this area is a magnificent play area with soft play, bouncy castle, small football pitch, mini golf and Go Karts which are available at night. While all this is going on the recent addition to the hotel the Food Van will serve you toasties, burgers, chips all free if silver or gold with a host of other items at a small charge . The bar is perhaps one of the few areas which needs a rethink partly due to some customers being not all inclusive some silver and some gold which meant the waiters not only had to look up the prices they keyed everything into a computer for stock control. Got home yesterday from a weeks holiday with family including two kids aged 9 & 6 and 16yr old, absolutely loved our stay! Been to Benidorm tonnes of times but first time at this hotel. Rooms - were very nice, clean and good air con, room was cleaned every single day and loads of clean towels, toilet roll etc every time. Pool - pool areas were fab and always plenty of sunbeds and tables/chairs. Only one downside was the fact of just how cold the pool water is, my 9yr old daughter really struggled to enjoy the pool much because she was just far too cold! But we did make use of the indoor pool for her a few times. Kids - The kids play area, kids club and kids animation team really made this holiday for us, all by far the best of any hotel we have stayed aim and honestly think we will really struggle to top it anywhere else! Kids had an amazing time. Food - I would say your average Spanish all inclusive food, some nights were better than others but we never went hungry and there was always good selections of foods. The snack van was great also. We used this most days for lunch. Breakfast was always great - pancakes, pastries, fruit, cereals, chocolate pled breakfast. After a few days we upgraded to gold bands to allow for more premium branded drinks. I probably wouldn’t brother next time as I’m not much of a drinker anyway. Personally I liked the location of the hotel, first time staying in the old town and I prefer it. It’s honestly a lovely walk from hotel to both old and new town bars etc. We had a great family holiday and will definitely be back.

Fantastic week. Second time we have stayed at this hotel. Quick check in, room lovely and clean and cleaned everyday. Food plenty of choice and all amazing quality. Snacks and drinks always available. Outdoor play area a big hit with our 2 boys. Staff always friendly and helpful and hardworking. We will be back again.

We stayed at RH Princesa at the beginning of June for 8 nights. We are a family of 4, children aged 5 & 2. I will start with the bad (there are few). The room is a little cramped. You need to walk about 200 meters from drop off to get to the hotel unless you have private transfers due to the street size. That’s it! Everything else we could not have faulted. The staff are all amazing and really make you feel welcome. Right up from the reception staff, to servers and cleaners, everyone is very friendly and helpful. I especially felt the children’s entertainment staff were excellent with the children. The hotel is exceptionally clean and tidy. The food is lovely and varied. It will get samey if you eat the same stuff so recommend you try mixing it up each meal. The food truck is also very nice, though you do pay extra for some premiums eg nuggets and onion rings, though it’s not much. We were all inclusive gold (we upgraded from half board when we arrived) and the selection was great including bottled corona and premium spirits. Again as above, there are some additional drinks you can request that you pay extra for eg kopparberg, Jameson but most of the selection is included. Entertainment is great for a family hotel. Mini disco every night for the children and kids club opens after at 9pm until 11.30. Kids are still free to watch the entertainment and dance or run around depending on what’s on. It wasn’t overly busy at this time of year so we always were able to get a bed. It did however start to get much busier as we were leaving which I would expect as you approach July. Proximity to the beach and old town is great with loads of shops and additional restaurants near by. Multiple pool areas so plenty to do for the children. The splash area is great for younger children too. Can be a little cold but is fine when you’re in! Towels - you can rent hotel towels for 5 euro and change them as you please as much as you want then get your money back on return. Dont waste luggage space bringing your own! Overall we had a great stay and will definitely be back especially while the kids are still young. Maybe not as much to do for older children but that depends on them really. Family of 4 adults a 4 Yr old. Fantastic hotel and staff, the cleanliness all around hotel and pool areas are great, food choice is very good. Bar prices for drinks are NOT expensive. All in all a very good clean hotel. Close to all amenities, closer to old town Benidorm

The largest and busiest of the 3 RH hotels which are close together. Stopped on the 14th floor and the lifts are a game of patience. They are very slow and often seem to be stuck on different floors. The staff everywhere are friendly and helpful. Stayed half board and the food was good and varied. Sometimes a little slow moving used plates from the table and we often had to do this ourselves. The hotel is very clean, in a good location and certainly worth staying at.

RH Princesa is a great hotel. Not sure it’s 4* but definitely close. We arrived late at night and lunch bags had been prepared for us (although no vegetarian / allergy options available). We were on the 11th floor which was a bit scary on the balcony for us at first as so high up, but we got used to it. Terrible view of other buildings (don’t think the pool view is much better) but hardly spent any time on the balcony so wasn’t concerned. The pools are great, child friendly, open late and always a lifeguard around. My only gripe was the main pool is a bit small and it was very, very cold! In late May/early June it was relatively easy to get loungers, but I can imagine this gets worse when it’s busier. The pool doesn’t open until 10am but it gives you time to get breakfast and have a lie in. The location is good, both the old and new town are accessible by foot but probably not the best place for those with physical disabilities as it’s up a hill and the coach can’t get to the hotel - be aware you have to walk to another hotel to get picked up/ walk from another hotel when dropped off, which is a bit annoying with luggage. The food is good - but pretty much the same every day, so even though we were full board we ate out quite a bit. The breakfast is the best of the three meals. Not much choice of hot meal for vegetarians but plenty of salad and desserts to keep you full! Drinks prices very reasonable and I recommend the cocktails. The hotel was spotless. Your towels are changed and room cleaned EVERY day, which I found really impressive. Staff at the hotel are really nice, polite and helpful and speak English well. I would really recommend this hotel for families, we really enjoyed it and we would definitely return, which is not something I say very often.

We’ve just come back from a lovely stay at this hotel. The staff were all super friendly and helpful, both pools were kept really clean and clearly well looked after and the kids splash pool was a huge hit with our 2 year old. He also really enjoyed the outdoor fun area which had a little basketball/football court, mini golf, trampolines, a bouncy castle, soft play and go karts. Although we only actually saw the soft play open twice the whole week we were there. The rooms were spacious and modern with lovely big balconies and a really nice bathroom as well. The cleaners came round everyday and we’re always really helpful. The food was lovely and always plenty of it, although it did become a bit repetitive but that’s to be expected going a week all inclusive and there are more than plenty of bars and restaurants close by so we ate out a few evenings. Finally the location was absolutely perfect for us, close enough to the new town/beach, we even found an arcade and fair ground yet also only a 10 minute walk to the quieter old town where there are plenty of cafes, shops and a lovely play park for kids. Overall this is a lovely hotel and we were so pleased with our stay we’ve booked to come again next year. Looking forward to coming back.

We are currently staying here for the 4th time. A few things have changed since we stayed last year, there’s a new snack bar food truck which does burgers, hotdogs, toasted sandwiches etc which you order direct from and are given a buzzer to tell you when the food is ready- it’s a huge improvement on the old system where you had to order at the bar, get a receipt then take it out to the chef at the grill. Also, smoking is allowed now anywhere on the terrace whereas previously people could only smoke at the tables outside the main entrance. It’s not very nice as a non smoker when you’re eating to have someone sat next to you smoking. The hotel need to allocate a few tables well away from the food truck area for smokers and enforce the rules. The pedal carts out at the back used to be open from 6pm until 11pm at night , now they only open from 5pm until 7pm. We had a lovely room on the 6th floor overlooking the pool, the room was very clean as is the rest of the hotel. Breakfast was good as was lunch but evening meal could be a bit hit and miss . Generally all the staff are lovely and work really hard especially the cleaners and the bar staff. Entertainment wasn’t the best but we don’t go for the entertainment. People start queuing for the pool area to open at 9:15, then when it opens at 10am, run down to claim their sunbeds and then disappear again for a few hours 🤷‍♀️ We are back again in August so hopefully we enjoy it as much as we have in the past.

Amazing hotel, very friendly staff, every single person we spoke to from checking in to sadly leaving were welcoming and helpful could not fault it at all, food was lovely and rooms were very clean, maids came everyday. Very clean pool area fab games room and spa! Entertainment every night with great atmosphere all around....we will definitely return!
