Ginevra: hotel con bar

Il vecchio albergo è sul lato della strada, con molte bandiere alla porta, che lo rendono più facile da trovare. Non è facile parcheggiare, quindi bisogna cercarlo. Ho parcheggiato la macchina in un parcheggio vicino alla linea blu. Ho impiegato troppo tempo e mi è stata data una multa di 40 franchi svizzeri, immagino di aver pagato il parcheggio. La stanza non è grande e ha una macchina per il caffè. Ci sono 3 ristoranti cinesi di fronte, così come molti ristoranti italiani accanto. È relativamente vicino al Lago di Ginevra. Puoi passeggiare lago ed è molto piacevole.

Hotel molto bello, accoglienza gradita e servizio eccezionale, molto curato nell’arredo. Mi posso permettere di fare qualche critica, essendo onesto non riesco a tenermi dentro niente. Abbiamo prenotato la suite executive. —＞ Di notte c’era più freddo che in Lapponia negli igloo perché il governo svizzero da come temperatura massima consentita i 22 gradi, Per sopperire a questo disagio ci hanno fornito un calorifero elettrico che quello che mio nonno ha a casa e’ più moderno e meno sgangherato Di notte faceva un rumore che manco un neanche un branco di gabbiani nel porto di Genova. Un’altra nota dolente, ma del resto in Francia si sa, il cesso in una mini stanza a parte dal resto!! Senza neanche la VENTOLA!! Si creava una camera a gas che neanche durante la seconda guerra mondiale. Capisco il bidet inesistente, ma pagare una suite executive in cui devo fare i bisogni in una stanza e poi lavarmi il sedere nel lavandino attraversando tutta la stanza con il sedere sporco, manco nel terzo mondo. 這次我們出行一共定了兩間普通公寓，一開始我在訂兩間獨立公寓還是兩卧室公寓之間猶豫，但因為價格的因素，我選擇了兩個獨立的房間，事實證明在淡季這樣做非常有性價比。酒店為我們升級了房型，將兩個普通公寓安排在了一個獨立的小單元裏，其中一個升級為豪華房型。單元有自己的門，鎖上以後裏面就成了一個獨立的小天地。兩種房間的佈局是一樣的；區別在於客廳的大小，如果入住三個人及以上，選擇豪華一卧室公寓更舒服。公寓有一個主衞生間在主卧室的旁邊，有淋浴和浴缸，客廳還有一個小衞生間，衹有馬桶和洗漱台。客廳與主卧室之間有一道推拉門，關上以後互不打擾。公寓有一個帶微波爐功能的烤箱。公寓配備電磁爐和洗碗機,有基本的廚具和餐具，自己煮東西很方便。公寓非常安靜，豪華房型不臨街，晚上沒有任何的噪音，普通公寓臨街，但是街道很小很安靜，基本沒有什麼車輛經過。 公寓的交通非常便利，客人可以在入住前郵件聯繫酒店申請Geneva transportation card 持有此卡可以在日內瓦市區免費乘坐任意公共交通。從機場過來乘坐一站火車+一站公交就到，公寓離公交車站衹有幾步路的距離離日內瓦湖也非常近。 附近也有很多吃飯的餐館。 酒店自帶的停車位很緊張，路邊的停車位沒有空位，我們停在了酒店自帶的一個地下停車位，非常非常小很難停，如果租的車過大，不建議停在酒店自帶的地下停車位，因為不免費，而且出入很不方便。據酒店工作人員講距離他們走路5分鐘，fairmont公共停車場位置多可能比較好停. 如果下次再來日內瓦，停留兩個晚上以上的話，我還會選擇這家酒店公寓住得很舒服。

Ottima posizione, vicino al lago, centrale ma non troppo e con tutti i mezzi a disposizione. Non sono amante della moquette in camera, ma comunque camere molto pulite e in pieno stile dell’hotel. Da italiana ho sentito molto la mancanza del bidet, ma questo è un problema riscontrabile in tutti gli hotel fuori dall’Italia. Colazione forse migliorabile come assortimento e per eventuali intolleranze.

Due notti indimenticabili, hotel di alto livello, curato tutto nei minimi dettagli, accoglienza superlativa, Giulia della reception è il miglior biglietto da visita che si possa avere. Ti senti accolto e coccolato dall'ingresso alla camera, passando per una palestra veramente cool con sauna, bagno turco e mega vasca idromassaggio con orari di apertura 7-23 e non il solito 10-18. Colazione veramente completa con chef in sede. Posizione strategica e ticket pass incluso per tutti i mezzi compreso i battelli gialli M 1-4. Ci ritorneremo assolutamente.

Staying here 3 nights, we were comfortable in a clean environment with friendly front desk staff. Its location is off the touristic area, near a school. It is a small hotel with an attractive lobby. We were in #206, a standard double, with no view, large comfortable bed, good water pressure and good A/C, CNN-TV. Somewhat objectable is the adjacent school and park one block away. It is slightly intimidating to pass through because of the immigrant loiterers that were never threatening but everpresent. Most of the restos we patronized meant passing through thiis park. What a blessing to have a public laundramat three doors from the hotel. At the halfway point of the trip, I try to wash my clothes to minimize the clothes to pack. One morning when our driver Alex was having problems with his minivan battery (he drained it by leaving the signal blinker on all night), we easily walked 15 min to Lake Geneva. We went on a 1H boat ride and saw the Jet d'Eau. Yes, please consider this off-site hotel for your next stay in Geneva.

The Tiffany Hotel was a sister hotel to the EastWest Hotel in Geneva, where we stayed when we started our 2 week trip in Europe. The staff at the Tiffany Hotel was outstanding. they helped us with directing us to a pharmacy so we could get tested for our flight back to the US the next day. They recommended a fantastic restaurant for us to have dinner. The staff was very accommodating. The hotel is in the old town area and therefor it does its best to accommodate functionality in an older building. Great location if your interest are in the old town area.

I stayed in this hotel for a 3 nights with my brother and our friend. It is I a great location with only 8-minute walk from train station, a grocery store across the street, surrounded by a variety of good restaurants, in a quiet side street, a 2-minute walk to Lake Geneva located behind hotel and a 15-minute walk to old town. Very good service - Reception gave us a free-transit pass (good for tram, train and water taxi) and stored our luggage so we can start our sightseeing until check-in time. Room is spacious and very clean. We had room on the 4th floor facing back which is very quiet. Swiss Tours (if you want to take a day trip - Annecy is very picturesque) is also only a 10-minute walk away. Take the route along the lake to go downtown or old town - Beautiful scenery. The only thing that can be an issue for some is the single tiny elevator for maximum of 4 people. With luggage, I would say about 2 people. The bathtub shower stall is also a bit small so this may be an issue for some people. But they are very minor to us. So for me and my travel group, it was an excellent stay. We would go back in this hotel again.

Uno dei migliori hotel che abbiamo soggiornato in Svizzera. Il personale dell'hotel è stato molto amichevole e ha aggiornato la nostra stanza gratuitamente. È stata anche informata sulla carta di trasporto gratuita fornita dall'hotel e ci ha mostrato dove possiamo andare a Ginevra. La posizione dell'hotel è perfetta, a fronte della stazione ferroviaria di Ginevra.La camera è grande e confortevole, nonostante sia un po' vecchia.

The hotel is right across the street from the main train station, making it easy to find and a good location for connecting with trains, trams, and buses. It's not easy, however, to find reaonably-priced places to eat or shop nearby (but that's also a problem in much of Geneva). We ended up taking a (15-minute) bus journey to France to buy canned drinks and shelf-stable snacks, etc. The price difference was truly worth that short trip, especially if you are staying for more than a few days. Hotel staff were professional and the room was obviously newly renovated. Our room opened onto the street and was on a lower floor of the building. We were grateful for both the automated blackout blinds and the multi-pane windows, which kept out light and street noise really well. However, we did hear guests and ringing telephones from the room beside us. The room itself was way too small for two people if you are staying more than a night or two, and there is no workspace in the room. The 1x2 foot piece of shelf that might be used as a desk also housed a phone and a coffee maker. There was literally no other solid, flat surface where you could pull a up a chair and work at a laptop or even an iPad. We also had to pay extra for having a second person in the room but I was never asked if the original booking was for one or two people, so that was an expensive surprise. In addition, my partner was told that there was a quiet, secluded office space he could use for a work-related video call but when he went to make that call he was told he had to use a large, open lounge area instead and his call was repeatedly interupted by loud guests. The worst thing about our room, however, was the ants. We found multiple ants in the bathroom immediately upon entering and then again every morning. We stayed for almost a week and one morning we found many ants at the other end of the room, after a backpack was accidentally left on the floor overnight. At no time did we have any opened food or food scraps in the room. We didn't report this because we knew the hotel was at capacity and that without the queen we would be higly unlikely to be bringing viable ants home with us. So we just kept killing the ones we saw and kept our belongings off the floor. I had read other reviews of this hotel before we arrived and was concerned by reports of theft. We didn't see any reason for security concerns but did think it was odd that there was no secondary privacy latch in the room. And finally, we were told that everything in the mini-bar was free to us to consume. There was exactly one bottle of beer and a very low quality piece of chocolate in that mini-bar, so it seemed a bit odd to be told about this ”convenience” when it was so minor in quantity or quality. We did appreciate having bottled water and coffee refreshed daily, however.
