"The hostel is located in the West side of the Toronto City, about 30 minutes from Union Station and 5 minutes walk from the nearest TTC station, which I considered as pretty convenient for traveler without cars. Also the host is very helpful and they will try to resolve the issue for me if I found any problem with the facilities inside the hostel. The host can be commuicated in English and Mardarin, can call them if you have any needs."

UUtente ospiteBooked Deluxe King Room with breakfast included. Room was spacious and breakfast was great. Yet the standard of housekeeping was far from satisfactory. First, hairs were found at the wrap for the wire of the hair dryer the moment I checked in, and small scrap of paper was also found on the inside of a towel. Without any notice/sign in the room about the hotel's green housekeeping policy (if any), towels heavily loaded on the hook and hangers in the bathroom were not collected even on day 3 of my stay (there was no bath tub in the room to place used towels). Packs of cotton pads, cotton buds and small soaps were not refilled even when totally used up. Interesting enough, when enquired with front desk if that was the hotel's policy not to so collect the towels and make the refill unless express requests were made, the answer was in the negative.
The charging of tips for breakfast is another interesting issue. My husband stayed at the hotel for 2 nights (with breakfast included) before my arrival. When he checked out, he was asked to pay for tips for 1 breakfast. After clarifying if tips should be paid for 2 breakfasts instead, front desk apologized for having wrongly charged for any tips as all charges should have already been included when making the hotel booking. Yet on our checking out after 5 nights' stay with the hotel, we were told that we had to pay for tips for 2 days' breakfast. We again enquired about the hotel policy and explained that we were willing to pay but wondered why tips weren't charged for all 5 days for our stay. No explanation was given and the staff (probably thought that we did not want to pay) just advised that the charges would be waived.
I have stayed at Park Hyatt Bangkok and the service was excellent. Was thus surprised to had those experience at Park Hyatt Toronto.

The rooms are kept clean, and are very comfortable for a weekend getaway.
We’ve stayed here a handful of times, and is for sure our absolute favorite!
The pool & hot tub are an extra bonus too. For sure recommend to anyone looking for a clean, affordable stay. And its location is so good to everything !!

NNgMoonI was initially apprehensive about staying in an ”old” hotel, but my worries came to rest. It was similar to a cottage theme with very clean rooms and adequate amentities. Staff were always very friendly, greeting us everytime we leave and return to the hotel, and responds promptly to our housekeeping requests. 10 minutes from the hotel, there is a park with a calming stream, a great place to rest and rewind from the busy city life. Nearest train station is just 5 minutes walk away, and a 30-45 minutes car ride to downtown. Some downsides though, there are no nearby restaurants besides the one in the hotel, and no nearby supermarkets. Utensils were not provided in the room so be prepared to bring your own set. Hotel lifts seem a bit worn out but had not broken down during my stay. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay given the calm surrounding vibes and amazing service. I would consider returning in the future

UUtente ospiteAbbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel per 5 notti e tutto è andato bene. È stata una piacevole sorpresa, dato che si trattava di una prenotazione last minute, dopo che la nostra prenotazione Airbnb (a pagamento) non aveva più funzionato. Siamo molto contenti di aver trovato questa suite. Ci è piaciuto particolarmente il soggiorno, dove abbiamo potuto sederci per riposare e guardare la TV, e ordinare cibo da asporto per cena. Il microonde è molto utile (anche se adoriamo avere una cucina essenziale!).
Posizione: a circa 5 minuti a piedi dalla stazione Queen, c'è un'uscita proprio di fronte all'hotel, ma è necessario sapersi muovere sottoterra. Sarebbe utile in caso di pioggia. L'Eaton Centre, dove si trovano ristoranti cittadini, è raggiungibile in 7 minuti a piedi, e si può prendere un tram per Chinatown. La CN Tower e il porto sono a circa 20 minuti a piedi, anche se potreste voler prendere la metropolitana. C'è un supermercato aperto 24 ore su 24 dall'altra parte della strada.
Servizio: personale dell'hotel molto cordiale, sia al check-in che al check-out, anche una delle donne delle pulizie è molto gentile. Nessun difetto.
La camera è piuttosto moderna, spaziosa e nuova. Se dovessi trovare qualcosa da dire, preferirei che il piumone fosse messo dentro una coperta piuttosto che tra due lenzuola (che sembrava essere la norma in Canada?), ma non mi interessa.
Tutto sommato, torneremo sicuramente.

UUtente ospiteHad an excellent one night stay at this hotel - family of 4. Location was a short walk from Union Station & therefore very handy if using the UP express shuttle from the airport into Toronto centre. The hotel was spotlessly clean, the staff were all very friendly and nothing was too much trouble! We only had 3 towels in the room, despite 4 guests, but we spoke to reception and an extra towel was immediately provided.
The breakfast was absolutely brilliant - the choice of both hot and cold food was impressive, including french toast with strawberries rotated with waffles and pancakes plus sausages and bacon, eggs, etc. Lots of choice of fruit - fruit medley pots, ones with greek yoghurt, fruit smoothies, etc. A great selection of pastries too.

DDavidThe hotel is ideally situated of the front of the lake with the ferries to the islands just outside. An underground stop is just across the road with links to Union station and elsewhere. There are also a selection of buses that pass and a hop on hop off stop is about 10 mins walk. You can walk most places in central Toronto from hotel if you wish and are happy walking. You can choose which street suits you best on your walk and change route for variation as only a block apart and will all get you to central Toronto. You are maybe about 15 mins from the Blue Jays and CN tower so hotel is in a great location. Billy Bishop airport is about a 20 min walk and would be convenient if you can get flights to or from there to your destination. The communal areas in the hotel look very nice, as is the entrance if being dropped off by car. However there is work going on around the outside of the hotel and if walking to and from the hotel it isn’t so pleasant on the eye. My bedroom was spacious but felt dated and would be nice to see a more updated look. However the view onto the lake more than made up for that minor irritation. The staff were all great and helpful when asked. There was various things going on from regular activities in the leisure area to free ice cream and wine ( not together unfortunately ) and music in the afternoon. The leisure facilities were great with a pool, sauna, steam room and gym as well as an outside area (5th floor) for sitting outside while the kids could play. There was a tennis court and a basket ball hoop. There was also an oppertunity to use cycles and go for a run possibly with a guide. We didn’t eat at the hotel so couldn’t comment but the did have a restaurant on the top of there south tower that would give great views. We did grab a coffee and snack from across the street and would enjoy sitting on the benches just along from the hotel looking into the lake in the morning. All in all one of the older hotels ( I think) in a great location with great views and facilities which met our needs.

LLivyC75The hotel was a glamorous stay right in the heart of Toronto. There’s a feeling of old luxury in the rooms and the lobby. The room had been renovated recently but they’re much smaller than newer hotels and only just fits a couple and luggage. The amenities were good, and we used the small sauna and steam room. Everything about the hotel was great despite being so compact. The toiletries provided were by Le Labo, but the scent is very strong and can be overpowering for some if you don’t bring your own.
