Panglao: hotel con bar

"The resort is very good overall. However there's a few niggles. Check in took way too long. 2 people serving? When you have a long queue in the heat of the lobby this isn't a great first impression. The lobby on arrival was so busy. When I've checked into other hotels I've usually been impressed with the smoothness of check in. This wasn't a pleasant experience or environment especially if you're traveling with children. We couldn't get a massage. We wanted to confirm the time the next day and they wouldn't give us this option.? The lift? One lift in the main area? For a resort this big and expensive they should have more lifts The stairs at the pool are stony. This will really hurt your feet when you're not expecting it The breakfast is good for Filipinos however for Westerners like myself there should be more choice. Not just bread and egg. The beach is small. You get hassled by people trying to sell you stuff. Protect your belongings. Doesn't feel safe, look out for algae in the water. Not pleasant to swim through. The resort restaurants are very expensive. The lobby isn't air conditioned? Why not make it a pleasure to be in the lobby and serve coffee to guests? Not everyone wants ice tea. We were told to pay 6000php on arrival which luckily we had but we didn't know about this deposit for incidentals ahead of time. The positives are. They gave us umbrellas when we walked outside for the shade. The shower in our room was excellent. The warm water in the pool. And swimming till late is lovely. The staff are very good and attentive and professional. They served us with care and attention and nothing was too much trouble. I got looked after by the nurse at 10pm."

Il resort ha una posizione perfetta, vista sorprendente, con amanti sorprendenti. Molto relax posto per soggiornare per coloro che amano nuotare. "We had a wonderful time at Solea! The staff were incredibly helpful and welcoming. Upon arrival, we were greeted with complimentary welcome drinks for two, and the breakfast buffet was absolutely superb! I really felt like I got great value for my money, both of my kids enjoyed the breakfast buffet for free (I believe kids under 7 eat free). Although it's a bit of a drive from Alona, we’re from Bohol and had our own car, so getting there was a breeze. For those without a vehicle, Solea offers a free shuttle service. They even provide a handy voucher with the pick-up and drop-off schedule. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway!"

"Il nostro soggiorno all'Only Seeds Resort è stato rilassante e piacevole. Il punto forte del resort è sicuramente la piscina: pulita, curata e perfetta sia per i bambini che per gli adulti. Abbiamo trascorso molto tempo a rilassarci a bordo piscina, godendoci la tranquillità dell'ambiente. Le camere erano accoglienti e pulite, con un tocco di design locale. Il personale è stato cordiale e si è assicurato che avessimo tutto il necessario. L'atmosfera del resort è tranquilla e ideale per rilassarsi. "Molto buono per quel prezzo per coloro che non cercano molto comfort. La stanza era troppo buia per noi con la mancanza di luce del giorno. I commutatori di luce erano sporchi - questo è semplicemente per evitare dall'hotel e l'esperienza sarà meglio. Letto pulito, asciugamani e frigo come un plus. È molto delizioso nei loro ristoranti a buon prezzo, ci piaceva molto (filetti grigliati e pesce) rispetto agli altri che abbiamo provato. La reception è molto gentile e attenta. Il modo più vicino alla spiaggia è 10 minuti ma alla fine c'è un resort che costa 100 p ingresso per persona alla spiaggia, come un plus si può utilizzare il bagno e cambiare le camere e le docce. Da questa spiaggia si può andare in qualsiasi parte della linea di spiaggia e godere."

"We stayed at Henann Tawala Hotel for a week upon arriving in Bohol, and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is spotlessly clean, living up to its 4-star rating. Upon arrival, the staff were very attentive—our bags were handled, and we were offered breakfast while our early check-in was expedited. One thing to be aware of is the 3,000 pesos per night damage deposit. If paid by credit card, any charges, such as room service or drinks at the swim-up bar, are deducted from it, with the balance refunded after checkout. The breakfast area is beautifully presented, with friendly staff who greet you warmly. After giving your room number and surname, you’re escorted to a table. However, we noticed some inconsistency in service—on some days we were offered coffee or tea, while on others we weren’t. There were also times when water wasn’t provided, so we ended up with double servings after fetching it ourselves. Consistency in service would enhance the experience, but the self-service station for coffee, water, and juices was convenient. Breakfast options were excellent, with plenty of variety to suit all preferences. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. One small issue was being asked to leave a yogurt behind when I tried to take it out of the breakfast area. I understand the rule to prevent excessive takeaway, but I felt a little flexibility could be applied for small items. The rooms at Henann Tawala are impressive—spacious with great bathrooms and lovely balconies. Among the best we’ve stayed in, they’re comparable to high-end hotels like Radisson Blu in Cebu or Seda Ayala Central Block. The reception staff were incredibly helpful. They arranged a reasonably priced van for our trip to Tagbilaran, and the driver was punctual, providing a comfortable ride. He even dropped us off at the right spot for catching a van to Anda at the Dao Bus Terminal. One nice perk of staying here is the short walk to Henann's beachfront property, where you can use the sun loungers shaded by palm trees and enjoy drinks served by the staff. However, you can’t use the pool there, and you need to pick up towels from Henann Tawala before heading to the beach. The beach is beautiful, but there are quite a few hawkers selling tours, which can be a bit of a nuisance. We found better deals on Facebook. The sea is warm, though there’s a fair amount of seaweed. I’d recommend snorkeling to watch your step, as there are starfish and possibly sea urchins. We only swam once. If you buy mangosteen from beach vendors (150-200 pesos), check for ants, as one of our bags was full of them! Just outside the hotel’s main gates, there’s an ATM and a laundry shop that charges around 400 pesos for 5 kg, returning clothes washed, dried, and folded by 5 pm. It’s much cheaper than the hotel’s laundry service. We also tried the Kajun Restaurant nearby, which offers excellent chicken sandwiches, fries, and milkshakes in an American diner style. On the beachfront, our favorite restaurant was the Oasis Resort’s upstairs bar and restaurant, which has a cooling breeze and a great view of the beach. Every dish we tried was fantastic, and we highly recommend it. While our stay at Henann Tawala was wonderful, Panglao itself felt quite touristy. There were many Korean tourists, and a lot of locals trying to sell tours and services, which sometimes felt overwhelming. Prices were higher than we expected, especially for things like tricycles, which cost 150 pesos per person compared to the 12 pesos we paid in the provinces. Restaurant prices were also inflated, and even basic supplies came at a premium. If you prefer a quieter, more authentic experience, I’d recommend visiting somewhere like Anda. It has a more laid-back, provincial vibe, with friendlier locals and a slower pace of life, making it a peaceful alternative to the busy, touristy atmosphere of Panglao."

"My stay at the hotel was great. The staff were so nice and friendly, and while there was only one restaurant on site, there was a ***** mall next door with multiple dining options and several souvenir shops. There were some empty storefronts, but these appear to be the lingering effects of the long pandemic shutdown. The grounds and beachfront were pretty and well-maintained, and there is a looong beachfront to walk. The nearby town and Alona Beach were accessible, but aside from doing a city tour and a countryside tour, the latter of which included visiting the Chocolate Hills and the Tarsier Sanctuary, my friends and I felt no need to leave the resort for the rest of our stay. I know the rating should just be on our stay, but the reason I rated Modala less than excellent was because my pre-trip preparations were less than ideal. We needed information on airport transfers and tours in advance of our stay, and communications were an ordeal. So much follow-up was needed, with multiple communications repeating the same questions trying to get responses, and I used phone calls, e-mails, and texts. Phone calls were best, if only you could get someone to answer the phone, as e-mails and texts were mostly ignored. Responses tended to be incomplete, but at least on a phone call you can keep ”clarifying” your question. In the end, some questions were left till we arrived at the resort, and could speak to them face to face."

"Abbiamo trascorso tre giorni in hotel. L'hotel non è grande, ma accogliente, le camere sono spaziose con comodi balconi, due piscine (una delle quali ha un bar). La posizione è comoda, ma non sulla spiaggia. Il ristorante dell'hotel serve piatti deliziosi. Non ci sono lamentele o commenti sull'hotel. Grazie di cuore alla direzione e al personale dell'hotel per il loro lavoro!"

"Anche se è appena aperto, troviamo la necessità di migliorare la loro manutenzione. Camere - letto è ok. Possibile dormire bene. Il bagno ha bisogno di un miglioramento della pulizia. Le matite, le porte e la testa della doccia possono vedere alcuni problemi di indossamento e lacrime. Il bagno è un po 'piccolo. Gli asciugamani non sono veramente bianchi e possono vedere alcuni punti su di esso. La TV è piccola, ma molti canali da scegliere. Colazione - ordinata ma dammi solo un pezzo di bacon 😅. Per un prezzo di 220 sgd e solo un pezzo di bacon, non vale la pena. Le tavole fuori devono essere pulite. Pandessa complimentare molto limitata. Posizione - zona tranquilla di panglao. Posso dormire a notte. Devo andare a triciclo per andare alla spiaggia di Alona, aeroporto e punto di immersione napaling. Il soggiorno è stato un po' deludente, come ho letto che è appena aperto, ma sembra più di un decennio."
