Hotel con balcone a Kathmandu

Ottima posizione (tranquilla e vicina alla strada principale), personale attento e sorridente, un ristorante grazioso e una piccola terrazza panoramica. L'unica pecca è che la camera era un po' angusta...

This is the second time I'm leaving a review for Kumari Boutique Hotel. I stayed here for a few months and it really felt like home. The rooms are super clean and equipped with everything you need. The area is great, in the heart of Thamel yet quiet and peaceful. Many cafes, restaurants and shops nearby. The staff are super friendly, professional, and accommodating. A huge thank you to the Kumari team for making my stay pleasant and comfortable. You guys are wonderful :). I will definitely come back when I visit Kathmandu again. I highly recommend it.

Baudha Apart Hotel L'aria è molto più pulita a queste altezze. Una bella vista da vedere dal tetto sopra la città in basso. Ci sono una stanza in alto, per yoga, per l'esercizio o per la meditazione. Un ascensore vi porta lì, ma si può salire le scale, se vuole, soprattutto per preparare un tratto di montagna – c'è un ampio deposito in questo senso. Budha Apart è di proprietà di una famiglia Sherpa, originariamente di Lukla, quindi ci sono molti buoni contatti con la comunità montana alta. L'hotel è piuttosto nuovo, e non significa che nulla sia rotto, vale a dire che è ben mantenuto, che gli ospiti non sono una sorta di raffinata e sono attenti alla tranquillità di entrambi. Le camere sono ben pensate, e molti hanno un sole di fronte balcone. Una doccia e una doccia hanno acqua calda abbondante, regolabile come vuoi. Nel pavimento c'è un grande ristorante, con un menu diverso di cucina locale, e cibo conforto occidentale. Il soffitto è un parcheggio per auto e biciclette. Il personale è di buona gioia, e supporta le vostre avventure e piani. Sono più conveniente, raccogliere e consegnare all'aeroporto. Ci sono anche un auto e un pilota per diverse tour, come volete. Infine, il prezzo da valutare è più equo, come si confronta con altri hotel nella regione.

Il nostro aereo è arrivato a Kathmandu alle 22:00, e ci è voluto un'eternità per passare il controllo immigrazione, così siamo usciti dall'aeroporto quasi alle 23:00. Avevamo inviato una email all'hotel in anticipo per richiedere il servizio navetta, e pensavamo che a quell'ora tarda e senza un numero di telefono per contattarci, non ci sarebbe stato nessuno ad aspettarci. Ma tra la folla di persone che aspettavano i taxi all'uscita, abbiamo visto il nostro nome su un cartello! È stata una sorpresa inaspettata e un'accoglienza molto calorosa per chi arriva in un posto nuovo! Ci hanno portati in hotel. La posizione è ottima, nel vivace cuore di Thamel, proprio sotto c'è un ristorante cinese. L'hotel è uno degli edifici più alti della zona, con un ristorante panoramico in vetro al 12° piano e una piscina e spa all'11° piano; il design è piuttosto audace. La colazione era buona! Anche il servizio era attento. È comodo per spostarsi, in 6 minuti di risciò si arriva a Durbar Square. La dimensione della camera era adeguata, ma avevamo chiesto un piano alto e ci è stato dato solo il quarto, il che è stato un po' deludente. Inoltre, c'era un forte odore di scarico dal bagno che, anche chiudendo la porta, si diffondeva nella stanza. Questo problema di odore è legato all'hardware e alla manutenzione e andrebbe migliorato. Per il resto, tutto bene!

L'Hotel Madhuban è aboomamente il miglior hotel per soggiornare a Kathmandu. L'hotel è in punto in tutti gli aspetti. Valore per soldi - si ottiene quello che si paga. L'hotel offre colazione gratuita e cibo e snack molto conveniente all'interno. Il pick-up e il decollo dall'aeroporto è stato liscio, senza problemi e assolutamente piacevole. Mi ha preso il figlio del proprietario dell'hotel e è stato un momento assolutamente piacevole. Situazione - Madhuban Hotel è strategicamente situato - lontano dalla città rumorosa ma vicino ai luoghi di interesse. È vicino alla zona di festa (area di casa) con molti ristoranti e negozi di souvenir. E 'un viaggio lontano dalle principali attrazioni. Ture e avventure - l'hotel ha il proprio fornitore - avventuraboundnepal. Siete organizzati e corrispondere i prezzi sul mercato. Sono stati anche in grado di prenotare un ultimo minuto per me con il volo everest. Hospitalità - proprietari, manager e personale sono tutti sorridenti, gioievoli e felici. Camere - spaziose e molto pulite. I riscaldatori funzionano, Internet veloce e più punti se hai una terrazza (che ho fatto). Il tetto offre una vista fantastica sul quartiere. Ristoranti e negozi - molte cose intorno alla zona. Non si sbaglia mai! Rimarrà a Madhuban Hotel?? DEFINITIVamente!

Had a terrible experience at this hotel - booked it as a first stop in Kathmandu on arrival in Nepal, place to put my luggage while trekking and a last night before flying out of the country. There is no provision for bag check - no tag given or the like. Asked if could leave / check my bag was told yes and to leave infront of front desk. Two weeks later when I returned to the hotel bag was still in the lobby infront of front desk. Things were missing of course - none of great enough value to argue, but the fact they couldn’t even be bothered to move the bag a few feet to a closet / holding space or the like is indicative of the way this place rolls. Tried to book a shuttle for early morning to airport through hotel, listed as included service. Despite confirming and reconfirming, they arranged nothing. Instead at 5:15 AM it became a game of let’s make a deal and see how much we can charge while providing no evidence there was even a driver. In the end I gave up and carted my luggage to the street to get a taxi. Nepal is a wonderful country - this hotel was a consistent bad experience. Rooms themselves are meh - didn’t try the free breakfast, on site restaurant was pretty good, atmosphere/ food. This isn’t a cheap hotel by local standards - for the price point there are much / many options in the area.

La posizione era fantastica e il personale della reception era molto cordiale. Sono stato molto grato che quando ho avuto un problema, lo hanno risolto immediatamente quando li ho contattati e anche il ristorante al 7° piano era delizioso. Era una stanza con vista sulla città, e la grande finestra lasciava entrare molta luce solare, e il riscaldamento e l'acqua calda funzionavano bene. Era così caldo e confortevole, e strutture convenienti, negozi, farmacie, bar, lavanderia, ecc. si trovano proprio nelle vicinanze, quindi lo consiglio👍 Se vado a Thamel la prossima volta, voglio effettuare di nuovo una prenotazione. The room made a decent first impression and did the bare minimum. But, it quickly became clear that it’s best suited for a very short stay. The bed was comfortable enough. Overall, the room is fine if you’re just passing through, but anything longer starts to feel like stretching it. Staff presence around the hotel was limited. They clearly run on a lean operation, which can go either way. The guard in front of the elevator stood out in the best possible way and added a genuinely warm, human touch, which helped balance things out. At check-in, I was given two complimentary cocktail coupons for the upstairs bar, which immediately lifted my spirits. This was a place I had enjoyed many times before and often recommended to friends and family. I had good memories of the atmosphere, the food, and the general vibe, so I went in with high hopes. In the past I had written raving 5-star reviews of their restaurant food and amazing service! Unfortunately, the experience that followed didn’t live up to those expectations. What should have been a simple, enjoyable night out unraveled into confusion and unwelcoming interactions. Small moments piled up, the mood shifted, and it became clear that the experience had gone off the rails. Rather than force it, my group and I decided to take our time and money elsewhere. Sometimes you read the room and move on. I returned to the hotel later that night and stayed over. Took a hot shower in the morning, loved the smell of their body wash, btw! Another brief interaction during checkout reinforced the same theme: rigid, abrupt, and lacking the kind of hospitality that makes guests feel welcome. All in all, it’s disappointing to see a place I once enjoyed and freely recommended lose its consistency and warmth. I’m no longer comfortable recommending it, and I’m not sure I would choose to return. As for the unused cocktail coupon, I still have it. Any takers?

After several trips to Nepal, I finally decided to treat myself with a stay at the famous Kathmandu Guest House. So glad I did. So much peace, grace, charm and beauty .. and of course, the history!

Hotel raffreddato nel centro del quartiere Tamel. Camere e camere comuni sono di stile nazionale - molto atmosferico. Un magnifico ristorante panoramico sul 7o piano - delizioso, vari menu per colazione (il sistema di tavola svedese), il menu ristorante è anche vario - ci sono anche cucina locale, e europeo.
