Had a recent stay for 3 nights and found it really enjoyable. After a little confusion with parking the car due to street it is located on being a bus thoroughfare, valet parking was prompt and we found we didn't need to get car out again. Great location in the centre of town and easy walking to everything Hobart has to offer. Rooms were very clean, although a little small, bathroom was a generous size although water did flood floor when showering. Did have to order another pillow as ones in room were rock hard. Breakfast was very yummy and buffet option that was offered had more than enough to satisfy. Gym was small with just enough equipment to do a workout. The Chocolate Hour was a bit of a letdown, not what we expected, but still another point of difference. All in all, a really nice stay and we'll certainly wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Definitely did not disappoint! Love the rooms, the location, the dining, the breakfast!
Everything is located within walking distance of the hotel. Car valet available for $35/day. Conveniently stop outside hotel. However be warned that during peak timings you might have to keep circling the area just to wait for a parking space to stop.
We had a 2 queen size bedroom for 3 pax. Lovely amenities and excellent room service.
Reception was so helpful and so friendly. Shout out especially to Chloe!
Really can't praise this hotel enough! Will definitely stay again!

La stanza è vecchia, ma il paesaggio e la posizione sono buoni. La TV può guardare la TV satellitare. La cosa principale è che il check out è troppo presto. Gli altri hotel sono alle due di pomeriggio, e loro sono alle dieci.

È stato un soggiorno fantastico. Il tempo ci ha lasciato un po' meno, anche se non poteva essere risolto anche dall'eccellente servizio clienti. Il personale era così attento e piacevole. Le strutture erano eccellenti per il nostro soggiorno di 3 giorni con un letto a rotelle, perché ci servivano due zone di dormire separate. Le strutture cucina erano eccellenti per le nostre esigenze. La vista era molto buona sul fiume Derwent. La camera da letto era eccellente e la lavatrice e asciugatrice erano molto apprezzate. La posizione era fantastica con tutti i siti a piedi. Non può essere consigliata abbastanza.

Dopo tre notti, andare al mercato può raggiungere la distanza a piedi, andare al centro commerciale può anche andare a piedi per dieci minuti!Molto conveniente!L'atteggiamento del personale dell'hotel è super buono, sia la reception che il Bellboy o il mantenimento della casa, sono molto buoni!

Abbiamo alloggiato 3 notti in questo elegante hotel dal fascino coloniale e siamo stati davvero bene. La camera pulita e confortevole aveva l'affaccio su un atrio interno dove c’erano i tavoli per i pasti. La colazione era buona, forse mi aspettavo un pizzico di scelta in più ma eravamo in bassa stagione. Di fronte la reception c’è il fornito Orient bar per provare cocktail, whiskey, etc. e mangiare qualcosa fino a sera; l’hotel ha anche un ristorante che però non ho provato. La posizione infine è ottima per girare la città e dintorni. C’è un parcheggio riservato ai clienti che avevamo richiesto in fase di prenotazione: si trova al multipiano di fronte l’hotel e al check-in viene data una tessera da restituire poi alla partenza.

This hotel met all our needs for the 3 night trip to Hobart. I would stay here again. It's centrally located to many things in town. The staff we met were all extremely nice and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfy. Bathroom is small, but its not like its a place where we spent a lot of time so it gets the job done. My two suggestions would be to add a shelf in the bathroom where one could place their stuff and add an overhead light so you could turn on the light when you came in the room. If you're a modest traveler who doesn't need a lot of frills or ton of space but looking for a clean and cozy place to spend the night, you'll like it just fine!

Little bit dated. Booked through Qantas Hotels and somehow was upgraded. ( No requested room available? do not know.) Water shower deluge head is great. Plenty of towels washers etc. The body wash and shampoo bottles are squeeze to actuate, sounds simple doesn't it? Mattress very comfy. Pillow a little firm for me but I did have the choice of 5! You get a kettle and that's it. Fridge opens one way, cupboard door opens opposite way. Not user friendly. Mis mash of cups. No knife or fork. Had to book for a couple of nights the next week but was an extra 50 an night. Thought that was a bit unnecessary for a returning client booking the same room. We had two windy nights and the sliding door widows rattling was enough to keep you awake. Need to be wedged. Location to town. Excellent, walking distance.

Da Check-in a Check-out, l'esperienza era senza saldatura. Fantastico personale di alloggio, grande, pratico e confortevole. I migliori vestiti da bagno di qualsiasi hotel ovunque sul pianeta. Non può essere consigliato abbastanza. Dopo aver soggiornato in molti altri hotel di alto livello a Hobart, non saremmo rimasti altrove quando torneremo. 11/10.

YYuanGood location. Close to both CBD and Sandy Bay. The kitchenette is very convenient. There was an electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, pots and pans and knives and forks, but no chopsticks. Free internet. Front desk closes at 9 pm, but you can enter and exit multiple doors at anytime with your room card. Free parking space. Luggage storage is available. Let us check in at 12 noon. For sleeping, there is a powerful air conditioner, but only two thin blankets and the mattress is too soft. A$6 for continental breakfast, but you have to fill out a form to order. A$6 for both washing machine or dryer. Free laundry powder or liquid. Wellington Mountain and a corner view of the ocean from your room!

RRelax39281755835The Bay Apartments are a good value but simple place to stay in Hobart. We stayed here for 1 night this week, in a 2 bedroom apartment. The apartment was clean but small. It had an overpowering smell of cleaning products when we arrived but this dispersed during our stay. The bathroom is a traditional shower-over-bath, and there is a small living area and flat screen TV. There is a small cooktop and sink, and a bar fridge. The apartments are a short walk to a large range of restaurants, a Woolworths and a Cole. There is also a pub (almost) next door. It is a short drive to Hobart CBD and there are public buses out the front. We were apprehensive at first as it was quite noisy (noise from other guests and from the road), but this didn’t affect our sleep quality. There is parking outside the unit and one reverse cycle aircon unit in the living area. Don’t expect a fancy property- this is a basic but well presented unit at an affordable price point, not a $300/nt property. If you set your expectations correctly this is a very good property. The stairways to the upstairs appartments are very narrow and it is difficult to carry large cases up and down. I’d stay here again if looking for a basic stay in Hobart, but probably not for multiple nights.

Only a few steps to go to our apartment which is very well appointed and very well maintained. Very clean, very quiet area, but close to shops only 7 min walk to Sandy Bay road. Good TV with Netflix and Youtube available. Good wifi speed, plenty of towels etc, updated well appointed bathroom. Its only 1.5km easy walk to Salamanca Market.

UUtente ospiteGreat 2 bedroom unit that we used as our base for 5 nights exploring the bottom half of Tassie. Living area isn’t huge and the kitchen is small, however it’s all very functional and works well. Bedrooms and bathroom facilities upstairs with comfy beds and bathrooms are great - fantastic shower pressure. Laundry facilities are good with 5 washing machines and dryers, and you can grab extra coffee, sugar, towels from here also anytime. Didn’t use the pool but it looks great. Parking is easy with parks straight outside your unit doors. Overall, great place to stay, but quite hilly if are wanted to walk into the city.

We were due to stay at another hotel but were moved here, which was no hardship. Spacious comfy one bed apartment, starting our first few nights in Tassie off to a great start. Well equipped kitchen (but for shorties like me, the microwave was too high!) comfy lounge and bed - much appreciated after all the travelling to get there. Close to the harbour, eateries, 10-12 mins walk to the shopping centre - it’s in a great location. Apart from that wicked little hill as you walk back up to the apartment block from a long day out, couldn’t fault it!

UUtente ospiteHobart City Apartments is located right in the downtown shopping district of the city. You don't stay there for the view, but you are in the thick of things and still only a 12 minute walk to the harbor for endless choices of restaurants, bars, cafes, etc. With notice and availability, they offer underground parking for $20.00 a night. Otherwise, there is night street parking and a couple of lots close by. Though this review focusses specifically on the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom penthouse apartment where we spent 6 nights, 3 of us first spent 1 night in two large single rooms, while awaiting availability of the Penthouse apartment. Each large room included a king bed, with end tables and lamps, a wall mounted TV, and a seating area, plus a good sized bathroom with large walk in shower. These 1 bedroom units include a small kitchen with a mini fridge, and stove top, microwave and dishwasher. Suffice to say that both the single units and the Penthouse we stayed in, are beautifully and relatively recently decorated, and very comfortable. The Penthouse apartments are large and feel quite new, like the single units. Similarly they are well appointed, and nicely decorated, with lots of light. The upstairs consists of one bedroom, with a king bed, end tables, table lamps and a wall mounted TV, plus an ensuite bathroom. The bedroom space is tight which of course, can't be helped, and so there's minimal drawer storage though enough if you plan it out well. There's a wide, deep ledge in front of the window, so one of us used that to lay out clothes, and toiletries, while the other used the shelves in the closet and though we needed more hangers, there was enough hanging space for 2 of us. The suites are relatively new so having what felt like new bathrooms was a bonus. The upstairs bathroom has no counter space but under counter storage, a large shower and it's well designed. There is no door at the top of the stairs into that bedroom/bathroom, so if privacy is an issue, be prepared. The main floor houses a small kitchen, with a microwave, full fridge and stove, flat cooktop, plus dishwasher and just enough plates, cups, glasses and utensils to get by. Don't plan on cooking a big meal though. It's best for breakfast, and serving up take-away. The adjacent living space had a large, 'pleather' (ie: looks like but isn't leather) couch and matching chair and the flat screen TV is mounted on the wall beneath a media unit, and across from the couch so it's a pleasant place to sit. Behind the occasional chair, is a small dining table, seating 6, then a sliding door, and screen out to a large but unfurnished patio. It would be nice to offer up 4 outdoor chairs and a couple of small side tables to enjoy a cocktail. The 2nd bedroom on the main floor, is larger than the upstairs, and houses a Queen size bed, end tables, with lights, and a closet. There is no TV in that room; something else they should add. Aasheri292574Quest Trinity is in a great, convenient location close to the CBD although noise from helicopters attending the Royal Hobart hospital can, at times, be a little intrusive. Beds were comfortable and apartment was well equipped and had everything needed to make your holiday feel like home.

We booked the restaurant for a special dinner celebration in May. We were not hotel guests. When I called to book a table, the person who answered the phone was unsure as she had to speak to the chef and she was going to call me back. She did not call me back. So I called again the next day and got a confirmation of a table. When we went to the restaurant, it was so cold we had to keep our coats on the whole time. There was no one in the restaurant. The appetiser and dessert were excellent but the main was below par. After appetiser, the waitress who was the receptionist, just dropped 2 sets of cutlery for the next course on our table.I felt like we were at a cheap dining place. Service was poor. I’m sure the rooms are excellent.
